"H.. he... help me.", I heard her faintly whisper. I looked down at her and I saw bandages wrapped up along her arms.
"What happened to you?", I asked.
"He hurt me.", She whispered.
"Eri what did I say about bothering other people.", a man from the alley said. I looked up at him and saw the person Eri was scared of.

I looked down at Eri and saw she was shaking from fear. I put my arms around her to calm her down.
"Sorry about my daughter, she always seems to bug other people. Eri come with me now, don't bother the kid.", Kai said. Eri wasn't listening and was still shaking.
"If she is your daughter why is she hurt?", I asked with a glare.
"Oh, she always seems to hurt herself, she is a major klutz.", Kai said.
I leaned down to Eri and whispered in her ear. "Do you want me to save you?", I asked her. She was still shaking from fear. "If you do want my help to nod your head. If you nod your head I will let go of you and I want you to run away from here.", I told her.
"Eri come now we need to get you home.", Kai said.
Eri was still shaking from fear but I felt her nod her head up against my chest. I let go of Eri and she started running away.
"ERI GET BACK HERE!", Kai said.
He looked away from me and was about to give chase. I lunged into action and boosted my strength and sent an uppercut into Kai's face. He wasn't suspecting me to attack him and went flying back into a wall. Our fight got the attention of other people on the street.
"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?! I NEED TO GET MY DAUGHTER!?", Kai screamed.
"That isn't going to happen, Kai Chisaki.", I said. This got him on alert and he took off his gloves.
"You are going to try and play hero kid. Well, you messed with someone you shouldn't have.", he said. Kai put his hand on the ground and used his quirk. This caused spikes to erupt from the ground and start heading toward me.
I didn't have the speed to dodge all of them and one spiked me through the chest.
"You weren't much of a fighting kid. Now to go and get Eri.", I heard Kai say. I coughed and blood flew out of my mouth.
I started pulling myself off the spike before he could get too far and my body healed itself. I smirked to myself and thought his quirk would be great in my arsenal. I jumped toward him after boosting my speed.
"Hey, Chisaki eat my fire!", I screamed. I used my [Fire Dragon Slayer Magic'] and put my fist on fire. I punched him with all my strength, but before he went flying, I grabbed his arm and slammed him to the ground. I then quickly put my hand on his head and took his quirk.

[ Active)[Quirk][Overhaul](Max)- Deconstruct atoms causing them to deform. Then used the second part of the quirk Reconstruct to repair the atoms. This has many ]uses.
"Not so hot without your quirk now?" I whispered into his ear.
"WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME? WHY CAN"T I USE MY QUIRK?" he yelled in shock.
I didn't answer and grabbed both his hands and deconstructed his atoms to have no hands and reformed them, so he wouldn't bleed out. This caused his hands to explode and his eyes went wide in panic.
He was in such shock that I used his Quirk that he didn't see my fist coming down and punching him in the face. This caused him to get knocked out. I got up and looked around and saw that people were cowering and heroes had shown up.
"Stay where you are, villain.", a random hero said.
"What?", I asked.
"You are under arrest for use of quirk without a license, assault, and battery.", another random hero said.
"I'm not the villain he was.", I said while pointing toward Kai. The heroes got confused about this and then out of nowhere Eri came running up to me and tackling me into a hug.
"I told you, didn't I? I would save you," I said while rubbing Eri's head. She was crying and wouldn't let go of me. One of the heroes tried coming close to me to grab her but I glared at him and he backed away from fear.
"FEAR NOT FOR I AM HERE!" I heard someone yell. I looked over and saw All Might. "Mavros what happened?", All Might said while coming over to me.
"I saved this girl because she asked for my help. She was being abused by this man and his quirk was a pesky one causing me to take his hands or result in people getting hurt.", I said lying about me taking his quirk. It isn't like anyone would believe his quirk was gone before his hands were taken.
"You know you could have gotten people in danger.", All Might said.
"Oh, and every other hero doesn't take the same risk when getting involved in fights.", I said. This stumped All Might and he sighed.
He turned back at the other heroes and said, "These children are with me. I'll take them." One of the heroes nodded at All Might and took the unconscious Kai under custody.
"Eri do you have any family that we can contact?", I asked her.
"...N..No I don't. Don't leave me please.", Eri said while looking at me with tears in her eyes.
I looked at All Might and he said, "it's up to you kid."
"Eri, do you want me to adopt you?" All Might looked shocked at my question but didn't say anything.
