Chapter • 1: New Life & System

**

I opened my eyes to a beautiful blue sky and light puffy clouds.

This would have been fine, except for the fact that I distinctly remembered going to sleep in my own bed last night, which rather precludes being able to see the sky since I lived in a mostly subterranean apartment.

I looked down at myself...Very kid-like hands and pale white skin, like I haven't been outside in forever.

This, this was... I don't like where this is going. I really don't.

My clothes were acceptable though, at least I was still wearing my favorite black Zero Two hoodie to keep the rather brisk wind off of me. I pulled up the hood to shadow myself and ran a hand over my face.

' Smooth...' My skin could make even the most beautiful girl cry in jealousy at the texture of my skin. Even calling baby skin would be called a crime.

' Okay... I better not think what is happening... I really don't feel like going through High School again.' I read enough Fanfics to know where this is going...

Pinching myself, I frowned at the pain,' Not dreaming... I think?' I had a few too many false awakenings to know - that I may be in a still dream. A Dream in a dream isn't the best. I heard one guy went crazy, due to being in some loop of waking up and having a heart again in his dream, over and over again. And I don't feel like being the second one!

---[ Ping! Don't worry Master - you are not dreaming ]---

A pleasant voice that sounded like Cortana from Halo, ranged by my ears like she was standing right next to me.

' Oh hell...' My breath hitched, seeing that cursed floating blue panel,' Fucking fuck!'

' So a glorified Gacha...' I pointed out, deadpan.

' Why me?'

---[ Why not? ]---

She sounds way too happy about this. This better not be the Halo Five Cortana! Give me Halo Four Cortana, you damn R.O.B! Or whoever sent me! That's all I ask of!

---[ Anyways~ Would you like to open your Starter Pack? | Yes-No ]---

' Oi!' This is system is rather rude!

After a few minutes of cursing, I calmed down, a good bit. I was still mad about the whole getting sent to DXD, - but alas, what can a normal person like me, do? Nothing. That's what.

'... Yes.' I sighed. It seems my lazy rich gamer life is gone. Goodbye Skyrim, Fallout - I will miss you dearly. Not you Fallout 76, you stay in the closet and think about what you have done.

-Sect Creation: This allows you to create a Sect in any place you choose. All items, food, and buildings will appear when used.

-Black Sand Palm: The most widely circulated version of martial arts within most low Cultivation Realms. A good starting technique for beginners is the path of Cultivation. Furthermore, perfecting the Black Sand Palm would allow one to reach the level of the 5th Gate at most. External technique, if mastered, one's palm would be as strong as steel and would be able to break metal. Lastly, There are a total of 5 Grades. This technique might encompass a poisonous effect.

-Bewitching Spell: Makes the target feel at peace, muddling their mind to extract information easily. It can lower the spiritual and Mana strength of Spiritual and Mana beings.

-20 Body Enhancing Pills: This is a type of  pill  that is refined using  alchemy. The raw materials needed for these tend to be very expensive because it is used to increase the rate of growth in a person's strength.

-Flying Sword: A low-grade flying long sword that you can use to fly and have an attack using your mind.

-Interspatial Ring: A low-grade magic ring with a pocket dimension inside it. With a mere thought, the owner can store items inside it and retrieve them at will. Even though time moves very slowly inside these isolated "spaces" it still does advance. Things like food and elixirs can eventually go bad over many hundreds of year's. You certainly have a 20-by-20- room in your Interspatial Ring. Basically a small bedroom worth of space ]

'... Yep, I got the starter Cultivator gear. Well, except the first one.' My first reward was something rather OP.

" Fuuuu~" Inhaling and exhaling, I smiled at the blazing sun," Let's hope I don't... Yeah, never mind. I don't feel fucking with Murphy."

Shaking my head, I started walking deeper into the forest I found myself in.

Officially, starting my new life In DXD as a Cultivator...
