"Huh." Her question caught me off guard

"I saw how scared Synthia was when you appeared and how surprise she was when you said you created your own family, so I want to know what that was all about." Alice shrugged and I couldn't help but commend her observation skills in my heart. With a smile, I told her everything about the choice given to me before I was able to evolve into a Demon Noble. Alice gave me her undivided attention, nodding along as I spoke.

"I guess when it's my turn to evolve I know which family to choose." Alice said with a smile.

"Why wait, you can join the family right now." I smirked

"Really." Alice said

"Yep. All it would take is for you to sign another contract." I said

"What would I gain? Do you have an overpowered family ability like the house of Wrath has?" Alice asked curiously

"Not really. I haven't chosen my family ability yet." I shrugged

"Let me see the contract." Alice said after contemplating it for a while. I nodded my head and touched her forehead with my finger.

"The only difference between this one and the previous one is that you don't have any obligations at all. So fearless leader, what exactly will you offer me if I sign this?" Alice asked and licked her fangs.

"Nothing that I'm not already giving you. Besides, I'm not one to abuse my power and you can leave anytime you want." I replied and she placed her index finger on her chin, obviously thinking about my offer.

"Fine, I'll accept it." Alice said and clicked 'Yes' on the contract.

"Oh that, it's a trait I got when I was fighting a powerful imp woman. It allows me to enhance my physical abilities using my aura but it makes me incredibly hungry afterwords." Alice said

"Ok." I said. Although I liked learning anything that gave me an edge in a fight, that doesn't mean I need to learn every trait there is. I would prefer quality over quantity, when dealing with traits since I have no idea of there was a limit to how many I can have.

"So how exactly do you choose Family abilities?" Alice asked curiously

"No, I have to choose one of my traits for my family ability." I replied

"Well that's too bad, I already possess most of your traits with the only exception being the [Stealth] trait. So I guess you can only use that one." Alice said

"That's, not exactly true." I said while scratching the back of my head with a guilty expression on my face.
