'Profits from the white apple cider are skyrocketing. That's nice.'

The fairly sitting on my shoulder lets out an annoyed groan. "UUuuuuugh. This is so boring!"

"Sorry, Vivi, this paperwork is fairly important." I sigh as I fish a sandwich out of my storage and wave it in front of the several inch tall swordsmith. "Here. Have a sandwich."

Her eyes brighten as she takes the wrapped sandwich in both of her hands... and promptly falls a good foot towards my lap as the weight of the sandwich is no longer supported by my hand.

She stops before she hits my lap, of course, and slowly flutters over to the corner of my desk and begins eating the sandwich after dividing it up even further and smushing the bread down slightly.

It has been about a week since I made her my familiar. This is what she does most of the time, stay in her tiny form due to it being more 'energy efficient', flutter around, be slightly annoying while I am doing paperwork, get bribed by food and sit down quietly until she finishes eating, then just repeat.

There's a small ping from my phone as I glance over to the device to see that I have a few texts

"Heeeeey Gai-Taaaaan"

"Ajuka-tan and I have some free time, and I wanted to know if you are able to show us this new invention of yours." - Sera-Tan Levi-Chan (14:34)

I type out a quick response.

"Yeah, I've got time. I'm OMW back to the underworld." - Gaius (14:34)

I turn off my smartphone and slip it into my pocket as I stand. The small fairy who has already somehow managed to work through around half of the sandwich quarter I gave her looks up at me.

"I'm going to meet with two of the Satans, wanna come?" I ask as I place the pen down on the paper strewn across my desk.

"Uhhh... I'll pass." The fey meekly denies.

"Alright. Don't get into any trouble... primarily bothering Rias' blond knight. He'll try to kill you because you made Excalibur."

"Oh. Right. Him." The fey states slowly while looking down at her sandwich. "Ugh... the church. How could they deface my work like this? How could they deface Arthur's legacy?!"

"Oh, also, I'm planning on seeing if I can get my hands on any Excalibur shards that the church may have missed soon, or at the very least start looking for them, and once I find them, wanna help me turn them into something?"

The fey frowns and cups her chin. "I'll... think about it."

"hm?" I hum, mildly confused about why she is making such a big deal about this.

"It's just..." The fairy begins. "That blade's time is up... it broke... everyone should have just accepted it and move on... it's not like Caledfwlch who never reached her full potential, that blade was finished. It fought and died for its master... and it hurts seeing what the church did to it. They turned a blade of hope. A blade of triumph. Into a child murdering abomination which reeks of suffering... but that's to be expected when they kidnapped fey smiths to create those tattered fragments."

She looks up at the ceiling for a moment before looking down at me resolutely. "I'll help you do it. But only to make something that blows all the other fragments out of the water... something to try and purify this tainted legacy and to spit in the eyes of the church!"

"Oh, we'll definitely make something incredible." I nod. "Anyways, I have to go. I'll see you whenever I get back.

"Give me a kiss!" The fairy pouts cutely up at me as I begin to walk around the table.

"Fiiine." I sigh as I crouch down in front of the fey.

She leaps forwards and places a small kiss on my upper lip, she seems very pleased with herself judging by the sudden peppiness she has.

"Be saaaafe!" She waves as she goes back to cheerfully eating her sandwich.

"Don't worry about me." I smile as I step into the center of the room and teleport.

[Split]

"Ah, Serafall, Ajuka, it's good to see you both." I smile as I step into the large foyer of my underworld abode.

"Gai-Taaaan!" Serafall pouts. "What have I told you about not calling me Sera-tan!"

"Ajuka smiles and nods. "It has been a while Gaius."

"How have the summoning cards been coming along?" I ask as I step forwards, pausing before the two immensely powerful beings.

I notice Ajuka's smile fall. "Oh. Right. Those."

"Do they not work?" I ask with a small frown.

"No. They work perfectly as intended. They can be persistently summoned and can even evolve after surviving enough strife. But as I was finishing the twentieth or so I realized that there was just no real point in continuing to make more. The Agaresite that is required to make the summoning stable just isn't worth spending on these cards when they should be used on evil pieces. That, and the time that it took from me to complete them really wasn't all that efficient."

"Ah." He suddenly blinks. "Thank you for reminding me."

With a flash a card appears in his grasp, it is red in color, the back gilded in golden swirls that cascade across the entire surface.

He flips it around to show a stylized crystal card with a golden rim along the outside, there's a gilded name across the very top, and an image of a small dragon, barely taking up even an eighth of the total room the portrait has given it. Along the bottom half of the card is a little meter with the words. 'Evolution Progress' on it.

I look back up to the name of the card.

"Lesser Red Draconis?" I mutter.

"Because of how much you helped me with this idea, I'm going to give you one of the more powerful cards I have created." The man smiles. "I thought it fit you."

"Oh. So you know." I smirk.

"Yes. I am aware, Red Dragon Emperor." He nods as I slowly take the card from his hand. "You are free to use that as you wish."

"I'll probably give it to one of my peerage members who don't have as much power at their disposal as my other members." I nod slowly as I make the card disappear with a flash.

"Well, since you have shown me yours." I begin slowly as I raise a hand, magic thrumming to life around us. "I'll show you mine. But not here."

We all disappear with a flash, reappearing in an open field that extends into the distance only to just... stop... as a massive white dome covers the entire area.

The two satans look around slowly.

"A separate dimension?" The green haired satan mutters.

"Yep. I didn't want to talk about my invention out in the middle of my house because, well, frankly if any of the other pantheons got wind of what I discovered, they'd immediately try to either ally with us... or declare war on us."

"That big?" The Satan of foreign affairs mutters.

"Oh yeah." I nod as I gesture to the incomplete building behind me. "This little pocket dimension is a part of it, I suppose."

With a small flash we reappear a short distance away. "This is what I have been primarily working on in preparation for my discovery... this is more an 'off and on' sort of thing. That I work on at my convenience."

Around this massive room is golem parts. Pieces of armor, mithril limbs, brass pieces, frankly it's an absolute mess. The shittiness of this area is only further expanded upon by the fact that this building currently has no roof.

"What... is this?" Serafall slowly mutters.

"I planned for it to be a train station." I hum as I gesture around. "The golems strewn about are going to be guardians... when I eventually get around to making them of course."

"Why would you want a train station." Serafall questions slowly

"Ah, but that's the thing, Sera-tan... it's not about why I would want one. It's about-" I begin.

"Where it will be going." Ajuka finishes as he looks around slowly.

"Exactly." I nod as I cross my arms. "I have been working on this sort of ability off and on for years. The first real successful attempt was after Diodora, actually. The main problem I always had was that I couldn't use it on meaningful living creatures. But I was able to cheat slightly sometimes."

"Buuuut that changed like, two weeks ago." I hum with a small shrug as I pull out a vial full of powdered diamonds and pop off the cork. "Let me show you what I've done."

I raise my hands again, lightning crackles around me as a magic circle appears. The strewn bits and pieces of golem around us are blown backwards suddenly. Serafall's eyes widen as Ajuka blinks slowly and casts a gaze at the magic circle around me.

His impassive stare morphs, his eyes widening as a manic grin suddenly crosses his face. "INTERESTING."

"Both of you grab on, or you'll be left behind." I state as the diamond powder floats out of the bottle and creates a vaguely ring-shaped portal.

Serafall grabs my hand as Ajuka places a hand on my shoulder. A rip in reality appears in front of us as I slowly walk forwards. As I touch it, the three of us are yanked through and reappear on the other side.

Pov: Elsewhere

A white-haired man freezes, his eyes growing wide.

It was supposed to be a normal trip to Forever fall. Glynda was taking care of a few problem students back at Beacon, and Professor Port, the usual replacement, was on vacation, thus the white-haired headmaster had taken it upon himself to see this trip through. Primarily as a way to escape paperwork, but also because it wasn't an option to cancel the trip... and leaving a bunch of hormonal teens unsupervised away from prying eyes is just asking for problems.

It was a normal trip. Nothing exciting happened. Whatever grimm was found, were quickly dispatched by the students. He didn't even have to slightly exert himself.

But that boring trip has changed.

Something is wrong. Something is horribly wrong.

He has just felt an immense magical energy, far surpassing what he could have done even in his prime.

"Students." The man states slowly as he looks over the class. "Please remain here for a moment. I- something has come to my attention and I need to go and see if I am correct."

He turns and with a flex of his aura he disappears into the distance.

After a brief sprint he comes across a clearing.

The red grass and brown soil have been torn, blackened scorch marks mar nearby trees, thick magic lingers in the air, the man casts a slow glance around the clearing, but... nothing is here?

He takes a deep breath, and exhales, cautiously casting another glance around the area.

Something is wrong. The maidens don't have that raw power... that means that there are two possible options... the first is that SHE is here. In which case, Beacon and Vale are already doomed.

But there is another option... a concerning option... as much as he is concerned it's probably the more likely possibility... someone else is using magic.

[Split]

We are shunted through the rip in reality, appearing in the middle of a clearing of red grass and red trees.

"Welcome to Remnant." I grin as I gesture to the world around us.

"Well now..." Ajuka whispers as he casts a slow glance around, cupping his chin as he gives practically EVERYTHING an analytical gaze. "Fuck. You've got me beat here."

"Gaius..." Serafall slowly begins, her eyebrow twitching slightly as she shoots me a sickeningly sweet smile.

"Yes, Sera-tan?" I ask slowly

"WHAT THE FUCK?!" She shrieks

"Tadaaaa, the thing I've been working on is dimensional travel." I grin proudly.

"Hm." Ajuka hums. "Something has messed with the magic in this world... but it has far more magic power than ours."

"Oh, that's probably because of a few things." I begin slowly. "Firstly-"

I cut off as I notice something, the two satans abruptly look behind me.

Wings appear from their backs as a plume of flame appears behind mine.

We take to the sky as Ajuka casts a spell, shrouding us in almost a grey filter.

Ah. An invisibility and noise dampening spell. Very classy.

A white-haired man bursts into the clearing a moment later.

I let out an idle hum. "Oh. That's unusual. Nobody came running when I did my first tests with magic. Nor could I really sense any magical energy with how the mana in the air is."

I look back to Ajuka and Serafall. "Welcome to Remnant, once more, by the way. A certified death world where the human population is practically forced to reside in four extremely massive super cities because these black shadow creatures resembling animals and mythological creatures are actively trying to murder them."

"Oh? Is that what those are, then?" The green haired satan asks as he gestures to the side, pointing towards several fluttering black birds with white bone masks roughly the size of golden retrievers.

"Yes. I believe they call those Nevermore." I nod slowly.

"Tech in this world is far more advanced that in our old one... for humans at the very least. Laser weaponry is fairly common, as are robotic soldiers in the northern kingdom, Atlas, which is in fact a floating city hovering over another city on the ground called Mantle."

"Oh. And another interesting tidbit about this world. Humans aren't the only race here. There is a second called the 'Faunus' whom typically have a singular animal trait that ranges from cat ears, monkey tails, to even poisonous stingers and wings. The humans and faunus of this world are able to survive because of this strange power called 'Aura' which from a single lookover I can tell is basically just 'bastard magic'. It allows them to create barriers around themselves, strengthen themselves, heal slightly faster, enhance their senses, and experienced users can even use it to supercharge their attacks. Also every person gets their very own special superpower called a semblance which can range from telling the weather to super speed. Oh. And sidenote, there's apparently a family in the north city whom have hereditary powers... and from what I heard, they are far more powerful than the average semblance. sounds pretty similar to clan traits, right?"

"Interesting." Satan of technological development mutters. "I can see why this would cause wars... access to an entirely new planet of resources would get any pantheon sweating. I certainly look forwards to looking around this place. An entirely new world's history to discover, new potential technology. The magic in the air is a bit of an issue, though I should be able to make something to fix it."

"Ugh." Serafall groans. "This'll be such a headache when the other pantheons find out. Did you find any other worlds?"

"Technically... yes? But I'm having a fairly hard time making a... stable... connection that won't eviscerate us upon entry. This one was far easier since it moves on a one-to-one time scale with our previous world. I also feel like maybe we should focus on this one before looking elsewhere."

"I agree with Gaius." Ajuka nods slowly as he gives the air around us a calculating glance. "Even having one additional world is an incredible boon to the devil race. We would be able to gather a new source of humans for our peerages, and should a war actually happen, we could always fall back to this world to recover our losses, biding our time until we discover more entirely new worlds to gain even more strength. This is a good starting point as I haven't detected any supernatural races here besides that one mage. This world truly seems to be barren of the supernatural. But the magical power is slightly worrying."

"You keep mentioning that, but... I don't sense anything wrong?" I mutter slowly as I turn to the green haired satan.

"Oh, right. It is fairly subtle. Firstly, this world has far more magic than our own. Perhaps three to four times. But it has been... tainted? Perhaps not the right word... it has been corrupted? Hm. Disabled is a close enough word. Nevertheless, it isn't doing its job anymore. But it doesn't appear to be harmful. It's as if something just decided to turn off the functionality magic, but all the magic power lingering around had nowhere to go. So, it has stagnated. It doesn't appear to be really affecting our demonic magic, thankfully, nor do I believe it ever will. It'll probably take a while but I could fix this. The fact that something was able to turn off magic in this manner is a little worrying, however... but it appears that they are well and truly gone from this world. This magic looks as if it has been stagnant for millions of years. And theoretically, if I could find a way to fix it, I could technically do turn it back off, thus I am not all that worried about whatever being in this world managed this."

"A deity perhaps?" I suggest.

"Hm. A deity of magic could do this fairly easily." Ajuka nods easily as he looks down to the wizard. "Perhaps. But it doesn't explain why our friend here can sense the fluctuation of our arrival... is it his... 'semblance' perhaps? Or maybe he is a magic user."

Ajuka looks to his watch. "Well. You said that this world has time one to one to our own?"

"It did when I last checked. Ten minutes here is equal to ten minutes back on earth." I nod as I look down to Ozpin and scratch my chin. "And I'm glad that you have come to the same conclusion as I have. This world is... broken... bandits, grimm, huntsmen and huntresses. The common man with no special powers would definitely want contracts with devils."

"it's a net gain for us." Serafall nods.

"I've got an hour until my next meeting, then. I suppose I shall take a look around." Ajuka slowly states as he seemingly sets a timer on his digital watch. "I will come find you in forty minutes or so. There is much I wish to know about this world. And starting now would be for the best. Do you know of any good locations to get information?"

I gesture into the distance. "The city of Vale is in the direction. The higher-class districts have fairly nice libraries. It's where I have gotten my basic knowledge. You can get an identification at any city entrance due to the numerous small villages around the wilds, but I assume that you are going to skip that time consuming process."

"Indeed." He nods.

He creates a teleportation circle; I see the dimming field flicker briefly causing me to reach over and grab Serafall.

We both complete our teleportation spells, Ajuka to wherever his destination is, then Serafall and myself out to the wasteland I picked out.

[Split]

Tattered buildings litter the area of where we reappear. Serafall glances around and lets out a quiet sigh. She can see the carnage. She knows what has happened here.

"Welcome to Mountain Glenn... the attempt at making the fifth city on Remnant."

The woman lets out a low click. "Are... the humans really this bad off?"

"They have limited food due to lack of space for farms, and despite a horrid threat they all face, humans still find time to try and kick down at the faunus, they've tried to force them all onto an island that is more desert than livable, and have fought several wars, one also coincidentally called the great war."

"The mistreatment of faunus have cause them to create a terrorist group, which in turn, just creates a downward spiral of hate and loathing. This world is broken... but with some guiding hands we could probably fix it."

Serafall nods slowly as she gains a slight calculating glare down at the roads below the broken building we are perched atop. "Food won't be an issue for us. So, we could always use that. But we will need to build our finances up from scratch. Back on earth, the reason the supernatural is able to act so freely is because of numerous companies across the planet acting as fronts for the numerous races. Here, we don't have that... yet. We also don't have any of this world's currency to throw at our problems like devils tend to enjoy doing back on earth."

"Mnnn." The Satan pouts. "You just added so much work for the satans."

"But... it is worth it." She relents with a small sigh.

We fall into a comfortable silence, staring at the pure destruction around us.

"So." I begin suddenly. "Wanna go blow the money in this wallet I... uh... found?"

"I would be glad to!" The magical girl beams.

[Split]

Serafall, now in a much more subtle green shirt instead of her usual magical girl garb sits across from me as she quietly eats her parfait, there's a pleased smile on her face, but her shoulders suddenly slump, a pout swiftly replacing her smile. "It's not half bad. But nothing compared to when you cook."

"Well, there's not much that can compare to what I cook... primarily because I cheat with ingredients." I smirk. Cooking is one of the things I pride myself on, even if I don't do it often.

"True." The Satan relents with a small head tilt. "Overall, this experience has been pretty pleasant... I certainly see some differences from back home."

She is right about this being a pleasant experience. This place is uncanny. You just... forget... that you aren't on earth anymore, then BOOM. There's a blocky hovercar, a person with animal features casually walking out and about without illusion magic, Vtol aircrafts flying overhead.

There's one small part about this that I don't like, though...

Quite a few men are looking over at Serafall every now and then, that's making my greed act up just a little.

She's mine.

I don't like people lusting after what's mine.

Ah fuck. Dragon hoarding instincts again. Those have been getting pretty bad since I unlocked my subspecies and made the boosted gear 'mythic'.

Piercing through dimensions has certainly given me quite a lot of Mythic power.

It was treated as five trials total, bumping me up from mythic rank four all the way to six.

I calmly sip the fairly pleasant coffee; it reminds me vaguely of something like Starbucks.

"It does have a few jarring changes." I note, eyes straying over to a parked hover car.

"Yeah." Serafall nods slowly. "But it's actually quite charming, wouldn't you say?"

"Yeah. It is." I smile briefly as I look around only to freeze as my eyes catch something.

"Holy shit..." I quietly mutter.

"Hn?" Serafall hums as she looks to the side.

A girl is walking down the road, a slight pep to her step, a small mischievous smirk on her face as she saunters on. There's a slight glint in the air as she passes people by, her eyes trailing around other people on the sidewalk, gleaming like a predator's when they spy prey.

She look... exotic... she wears a simple inconspicuous long sleeve white shirt, and jeans which are slightly torn near the knees. But her clothes aren't really the important thing here.

I narrow my eyes, watching through an illusion as she casually slips her hands into the pockets of people she walks past, she idlily brushes a hand through her hair as she continues on. Her hair is completely split, half pink, half brown, parted down the middle of her head, her pink half seemingly has some streaks of white throughout.

Her eyes are unusual. Heterochromatic. Pink and brown, but noticeably inverse. Her pink eye is on her brown side, and her brown eye is on her pink and white side.

One of the main reasons I chose this world...

The cute, mute, ice-cream-based psychopath with a tendency for stealing and murder.

Neo Politan.

Serafall gasps audibly, her eyes snapping back to me, then the girl.

An aura of silence passes over our table as I quietly cast the 'Silent Table' spell and place an illusion over us.

"OH. MY. GOD. GAI-TAN!" She shouts, gesturing wildly at the girl as she leaps to her feet.

"SHE LOOKS LIKE NEAPOLITAN ICE CREAM! I ADORE HER!" She exclaims only to freeze and look around at the other tables, an area of effect mind altering spell quickly forming in her hands to force people to forget her little outburst.

She blinks as she notices nobody is really looking over at us and sits back down, suddenly very serious.

"I want her." She deadpans as she steeples her hands in front of her face. Shifting from 'Sera-tan the magical girl' to 'Serafall Leviathan sees something she really wants and is not above manipulation to get it'.

"No, I want her." I reply with a half lidded stare.

"So, it'll become a battle of who wins her over first?" The Satan asks with narrowed eyes, a calculating gaze on her face as she glances over to the girl who disappears into the ice cream parlor across the street.

"So, the kiddie gloves come off when you find something you really want, hn?" I quietly mutter causing the black haired girl to blink slowly. "I guess I must do the same."

I'll need to put my foot down, otherwise she'll walk all over me with her experience.

"Serafall." I frown. "You are perhaps one of the strongest women I have ever faced. Incredibly hot, I really want to marry you in the future, and you are the strongest female devil assuredly, I really don't want to do this as it makes me sound extremely fucking arrogant and I'm having a hard time finding a way to word this nicely which is why I am stalling by talking so long, I didn't find one, so this may hurt your feelings a bit, but... Know your fucking place."

She flinches suddenly at my authoritative tone as I press on. "You, nor Ajuka would have never found this place without me. Reasonably, and realistically, the Decarabia-Malthus family owns Remnant. It is my territory, just as much as Kuoh is Sona's. I alone own more land than any other faction, I am perhaps- no, not perhaps. I am the most valuable person on the entirety of earth."

"Remnant is my territory, thus I should get first dibs on peerage members, no?" I finish with a small frown.

The Satan pouts, being knocked out of her 'I must have it' daze. "Gai-Tan... that was mean... but you're right."

She sighs as her shoulders slump. "I'm sorry."

"I didn't like saying it." I sigh as I shake my head. "But there's probably dozens of people you could reincarnate."

"I wanted to give her to Sona." The Satan whines.

"Sona couldn't handle her." I deadpan immediately as I look back to the ice cream parlor. "Sona would try to enforce 'rules' on her, such as 'No stealing', but she stole without blinking, she stalks like an apex predator. She's dangerous. But that makes her even more intriguing."

I pull out my pocket watch and look to the time. "I've already taken the liberty of slipping a summoning contract amongst the lien cards that she stole."

I flick a ten lien card out of my sleeve. The card that I casually swapped with a summoning contract as she was walking down the street.

The money they use in this world is honestly a little astounding. They look like credit cards. But people use them just like regular money.

Weird.

"It's also getting close to the time Ajuka's supposed to meet with us, so I'd suggest we get out of the city before he causes a scene by teleporting into this fancy little outdoor diner." I state as I slowly stand up.

"Right!" The Satan smiles brightly, putting my scolding behind her. "Oh... and before I forget... you did a good thing here, Gaius... your name is going to go down in history."

"Eh, if it does, so be it. If it doesn't, I don't mind." I hum as I dispel my two spells and slowly make my way to a trash can, Serafall follows along and tosses her plastic spoon and cup into the trash can as I toss my coffee cup almost lazily into it.

Getting out of the city is a simple walk into an alleyway and a short teleport away.

[Split]

I sit on a totaled car as I boredly skim through my phone. There's no connection in this world, so it's basically just a fancy paperweight, but I have a couple apps that don't require internet connection.

"We're going to have to figure out a way to make earth tech and Remnant tech connect." I state slowly. "Communication is key in these sorts of situations."

"Yeah." Serafall nods from beside me as she quietly eats a bowl of instant cup ramen she had in her magic storage.

Ajuka is taking a fairly long time. We're not fifteen minutes past when he said he would-

A green magic circle appears on the floor nearby, with a flash, the green haired man appears with a jubilant smile, a notepad is clenched in his hand.

'oh. Speak of the devil.'

There is a limp robot under his arm. An Atlesian robot. One of the kind that were on the train Adam and Blake raided. Under his other arm is a large container of yellow particles.

Lightning dust?

"Ah. What a joyous hour." He proclaims. "I have discovered so much about this new world."

"I see you also brought some souvenirs." I idly point out.

"Indeed. The artificial intellect of this world is truly surprising; thus, I'm taking one home to study, the magical crystals they use to power their machines is also quite interesting, so I'll be taking a look at this as well. and you were right about this 'Aura' power being nothing more than hereditary bastardized magic. But it goes a little deeper than that. It's quite intriguing to think that every single person on 'Remnant' has gained the ability to use magic. It's in their very genes which is why something as simple as a few words can unlock it for them. If we were to fix the mana in the air, this place would have no end of incredible magicians."

"Oh damn. We got really lucky, then." I note with a small grin. "We can always talk about how we want to reveal this to the public in the future, but, as it is, I would like to create a separate dimension similar to that of the underworld for supernatural creatures to reside."

"This world probably would not be ready for us for a couple years at the very least." Ajuka nods slowly. "Shall we leave, then?"

"We shall." I state as I hop off the car and raise my hands slowly as lightning begins slowly crackling around my fingers. "You know the deal, grab on or you'll be left behind and I'll be forced to open another rift to drag you back... and I don't feel like spending that much lillum on diamond dust for a pointless jump."

I look up from my desk to see a strange looking red bat bashing into my window, it squeaks aggressively.

The fey on my shoulder looks cautiously at the bat.

"It's Rias' familiar." I explain for the small girl as I calmly step over to the window and open it, allowing the small bat creature inside, it lands on the floor and transforms into a beautiful woman in a red dress with brown hair.

"Lord Decarabia." The woman bows its head. "Lady Rias wanted me to warn you that a group of three Exorcists are in the town and are looking to meet with you. Apparently Kokabiel has stolen three of the fragments of Excalibur and has been seen within this town."

The fey's eyes widen considerably. "EH?!"

"Oh. That's fun." I state as a slightly vicious smirk makes its way onto my lips. "This'll be annoying. I can already tell."
