1 Tower of Descension
Streets bustling with people, from vendors to vendors getting busy for their customers. Potions, weapons, and armors laid within the stores.
Warriors with their shields and swords, Mages with their robes and staffs, Assassins wearing cloaks and daggers at their waste, and Hunters equipped with their spiritual bows.
One could tell that they are preparing for the monthly opening of the dungeon every 1st day of the month. The residents named this said dungeon "Tower of Descension" because one has to descend every floor to explore them into the deepest parts.
The special thing about this dungeon is whenever you enter the door you'll only be alone with your adventure.
Even if they form groups, all of them would still be distributed individually. The dungeon only allow one person per area like a separated dimension but all of them had the same setting.
The people mostly here are of young generations for their coming of age expedition.
Just looking at the anticipation from their eyes and excited faces, you can already guess what they're here for. Because not only could they get abundant treasure within the dungeon, they could also get a book that would be bound with their soul by defeating one of the bosses that guards a certain floor.
This dungeon is basically for newbies because this is where they get the book that they will use for recording their spells and skills, it would then fuse with their souls that they could take it out anytime or anywhere from their body. The book may also contain bloodline, spirit, and body refinement.
Even though it is for newbies, the dungeon is not to be underestimated. A lot of veteran explorers still died from the hands of the entities inside or because of a moment of carelessness.
Yes you heard it right, death because of a moment of carelessness.
Traps with different mechanisms, chasms that you could fall to death, plants of unknown origins, and treasures that may have curses.
The dungeon is said to consist of five different terrains having five floors each and different bosses every fifth floor.
Every terrain have their respective merchants to buy usable items like rations, ready-made potions, scrolls, weapons, and armors. You could also sell some of the useless items from your inventory.
Whether you live or remain forever in this dungeon, who knows? Only the explorers themselves will know what fortuitous events they'll get.

Duri-an Village is where the Tower of Descension's location. Even if you are still at the entrance, one could already see a tower that was covered with moss and dust.
I spent my five years learning to become a dungeon explorer, the long wait and learning will now be paid off. Tower of Descension here I come!

Today is my 10th birthday and my parents gave me this journal to write and a black box containing my next gift that I could only open when I turn 18 they said. I wonder how long they are out this time.
