The Beginning

In the middle of the night, in the busy metropolis of the city of P, in one particular apartment building located near the border of the city, there was a young man who was inside one of the apartment rooms. His hair was unkempt and widely awake as he faced the monitor of the computer while frantically tapping his keyboard and mouse.

"One more... one more." Klay grumbled.

«Victory!»

The word 'victory' appeared on his computer screen with a glorious sound accompanying it.

"Yes! I F*ck*ng did it!"

Klay stood up at his chair and clenched up his fist high.

"After 4 years of playing and grinding I have finally stepped on platinum rank! " Klay said as he swept his tears that were coming out.

When Klay sobered up, he again laughed maniacally as if there was no tomorrow.

"Hahaha, who dares to challenge this daddy now, who!?" Klay boastfully said.

Then, immediately, a thought formed in his mind.

"Wait, I need to take a screen shot of this then post on my social media, hehehe I want to see their faces full of envy."

Klay immediately sits down again on his chair and busied himself as he began frantically typing and clicking his mouse left and right.

Klay lives by himself in the apartment he rents. He was a college student and only had an average grade.

He was thin, 5'6" tall, and only had an average appearance. You could tell that he was not popular in his own school.

Only a few or probably none of his so-called "friends" could be considered his true friends.

Therefore, he usually spends the majority of his time alone in his room, playing video games. 

An hour has passed by when Klay finished everything.

"Alright, all finished."

Klay grinned looking at the computer screen in front of him with a satisfied expression.

" All that's left is to see their reactions when they learned about this later" Klay mumbled.

"Yawn!"

Klay stretched his body up and looked at the time at the corner of his computer.

[4:52 a.m.]

"Woah, it's already past 4! I better go to bed now."

Klay finally logged off and turned off his computer. He stood up on his chair and went to the bathroom first to wash his face before going to bed.

"I need to wake up early, or else that good professor of mine would beat my ass again." Klay muttered to himself.

"Damn, I truly hate Mondays." Klay added as he turned off the lights and launched into the bed.

However, unbeknownst to him, while he was asleep, an unprecedented disaster befell onto him.

Accompanied by a sudden downpour of rain with thunder and an arc of lightning coming along.

The next day, in the morning, Klay was still sleeping soundlessly when suddenly he heard someone's robotic voice in his mind.

[System Initiating]

"Hmm?"

Klay slowly opened his eyes. He first saw a bright light making contact with his eyes.

"Is it morning already?"

Klay yawned while he wiped the drool off his mouth.

Then, he suddenly realized something.

"Wait... f*ck! I actually overslept! Oh no, I'm going to be late for class!" Klay exclaimed.

Klay panickedly stood up, and an anxious look could be seen on his face. However, the moment he raised his head up, Klay immediately froze his actions.

"Where the heck am I?!" Klay was agape as he looked around stupefied.

The room that he had been staying in, the pc that had been with him for how many long years, and the one beast collection that he painstakingly bought from his saved-up allowance... were nowhere to be seen.

All the things were gone!

Just a while ago, I was in my bed sleeping, and then, out of the blue, I suddenly found myself lying here. 

"How did I even got here?"

Klay immediately felt fear in his heart as he cautiously examined his surroundings.

Looking at the vicinity around him, the place looks more like a cavern than a cave. The area was not too dark, as there were like several crystals on each side of the walls and some were on the ground that were emitting a source of light.

Did I just get kidnapped? Will my organs be taken away? Maybe I was abducted by an alien and used as a guinea pig for an experiment?

Several lines of thought ran through Klay's mind. As one after the other is worse than the last one.

Klay's face was ashen as he thought about the gloomy future ahead of him.

However, once again, the same robotic voice from earlier sounded again.

[System Initiate successful.]

[System bound successful.]

[Loading... ]

This caught Klay's great surprise.
