27 Diving into Dungeon

Diving into Dungeon

Akira muttered to himself, "They finally showed up."

[Notification: 780 Cultivators in Qi Condensation Realm entered the Dungeon as guests. The Master Dungeon received 3,900 Qi Points.]

[Notification: 490 Cultivators in Foundation Realm entered the Dungeon as guests. The Master Dungeon received 4,900 Qi Points.]

[Notification: 51 Cultivators in Core Formation Realm entered the Dungeon as guests. The Master Dungeon received 1,020 Qi Points.]

[Notification: 17 Cultivators in Golden Core Realm entered the Dungeon as guests. The Master Dungeon received 850 Qi Points.]

[Notification: 1 Cultivators in Nascent Soul Realm entered the Dungeon as guests. The Master Dungeon received 100 Qi Points.]

10,770 total Qi Points were added to 455,445 Qi Points assets.

I am still short 33, 785 Qi Points to ascend the Dungeon to Level 2.

He quickly ordered all the beasts on the First Floor to hide behind Wukong's Temple. The disciples of the Sky Heaven Piercing Sect took their positions, feeling nervous and anticipating the upcoming confrontation.

As he observed the activity outside the Dungeon, Akira turned to the remaining Grand Elders of Jin Boqin's Sect and gave them a cold stare. "Use the Elixirs I provided. Just hold onto them for five minutes," he instructed.

"We understand," the Grand Elders replied in unison.

Akira then headed to Wukong's Temple, which was typically empty of beasts but was now crowded with them.

The beast moved aside as if he were in a procession and the beast was the audience.

He walked into the now completely dark hallway.

At the end of the mazed hallway, Akria saw a huge monkey sitting on a throne adorned with gold-plated armor, with his Golden Staff resting beside the armrest. Dozens of guards lined up, wearing silver armor and holding staff.

Unfazed by the monkey's threatening presence, Akira calmly locked eyes with Wukong. "As we agreed, give me five minutes, then you can go wild and unleash your full power," he said.

Wukong snorted in response, emanating a powerful aura that even Akira, who couldn't sense aura induced by Spiritual Qi, could feel. Reluctantly, he had to admit that Wukong's mastery of the Law was overwhelming.

As Akira finished his business and turned around, a translucent beam of light showered his body, transforming his usual light Hanfu into otherworldly clothing.

When the light faded and darkness returned, only Akira's fair face was visible in the vortex of darkness in Wukong's temple.

The ground shook and an explosion was heard, but it was nothing compared to the eerie echoing footsteps of Akira in the dark hallway.

The soulless beast outside heard the approaching footsteps. Akira emerged from the darkness, maintaining a calm demeanor amidst the deafening explosions nearby. His composure and intense gaze made the beasts cower.

It was as if a monster had been awakened from a deep slumber, ready to crush anyone in its path.

Akira gazed at the translucent screen projecting the ongoing confrontation.

The battlefield was shrouded in darkness, with blood dripping from the wounds of determined cultivators.

Firestorms were flying through the air and the sound of two opposing miracles induced by Spiritual Qi clashing filled the air.

The center of Sky Heaven Piercing Sect's lines was under attack by a legion of demonic cultivators, and the stench of death hung heavy in the air.

It was a battle filled with horror and the taste of blood lingered in the persisting cultivators.

In a full-scale battle, cultivators either disintegrate or have their limbs severed. In their final moments, they emit an unidentified sound, expressing fear, regret, and delusion.

While all this was happening, Great Elder Xi Guru was puzzled by the dense and pure Spiritual Qi in the air as the wind howled and cultivators battled. However, with each breath, he felt a pang of pain in his heart and wondered why.

Despite being considered a heretic for practicing the forbidden ancient demonic manual, he had no trouble using the traditional method of cultivation. Even for a demonic cultivator, breathing in Spiritual Qi remained the fundamental practice.

Why can't he absorb pure Spiritual Qi? Is it the consequence of embracing the forbidden ancient demonic manual? Despite this limitation, the power gained from joining the Snake Devouring Sect is worth it.

The sect is committed to finding an alternative path to immortality and longevity, and they are willing to go to extreme lengths, even if it means bringing hell on Earth, to achieve their goal.

Heaven Principles my ass!

Great Elder Xi Guru felt a sharp pain in his chest and struggled to breathe. He realized that the environment was not suitable for him.

The Sect Master's technique has allowed me to speak without needing to breathe, but my lungs still require air. I fear that the environment will worsen my condition.

Looking around, he sees that the remaining members of the Sky Heaven Piercing Sect are also struggling against my disciples.

Like him, his desciples have been affected by the harmful effects of the pure Spiritual Qi in this place.

Their healing techniques were less effective in this environment due to the pure Spiritual Qi, which slowed down their healing abilities. Despite their continued momentum and ability to defeat the disciples of the Sky Heaven Piercing Sect, he didn't want to take any unnecessary risks.

With the promise of the Sect Master to provide the forbidden ancient demonic second manual in exchange for eliminating all obstacles, he was determined to see it through.

Using his divine senses, he sends a message to all his disciples: "Pretend we are losing the fight and slowly retreat from this place. Once we are outside, we will launch a surprise attack and defeat them all at once!"

As the gasping Great Elder Xi Guru prepares to leave, a large shadow blocks the light above him. Looking up, he sees a gigantic, winged beast gracefully landing on the ground, blocking the passage out.

The massive, winged creature let out a deafening roar and a powerful surge of Spiritual Qi swept over him. His Nascent Soul Realm body remained unharmed, but the disciples in the Qi Condensation Realm behind him were obliterated.

Their limbs were unable to regenerate, and their blood produced a foul stench.

"A beast in this realm could utilize the power of Law without using a treasure as a catalyst?! How?!" Great Elder Xi Guru exclaimed.

The winged beast glared at him before lowering its head and folding its wings.

In front of him stood an ordinary man dressed in attire similar to that of the wealthy individuals in the Tower.

He recognized it from his interactions with powerful ordinary people inside Tower City, which had a dress code similar to Black Tie events.

The man dismounted from his winged beast, which then flew away gracefully. Despite the absence of any Spiritual Qi fluctuation, his piercing gaze made him uneasy.

He exuded a cold and calm demeanor, unfazed by the presence of a Nascent Soul Realm cultivator.

He had attended numerous parties in Tower City and even a ball hosted by previous Templars.

Despite the presence of Tier 2 Knights providing a safe environment, there was still a sense of reluctance and fear in the presence of a Nascent Soul Realm cultivator.

But this man... He's different. Could he be related to the Templars? Great Elder Xi Guru wondered.

Feeling agitation in his heart, he used his anger to push it aside. "Step away, young man, if you value your life!" but the man just stared at him with his deep black pupils, ignoring his warning.

Great Elder Xi Guru's heart skipped a beat, and he felt the need to avoid the man at all costs.

The man being linked to the Templar put him at a disadvantage, and his Sect Master had stressed the importance of avoiding conflict with the Tower at all costs.

"Don't try to use your Tower City background to intimidate me. I can kill you and leave no trace. I advise you to move aside."

The man spoke for the first time, ignoring him, and didn't respond to the threat. "Strange. This is the first time I've seen such a pathetic cultivator. Your Cultivation State is in Dissonance, your Cultivation Talent, Body Refinement, and even your Cultivation Manual are quite... embarrassing," the man sneered.

Elder Xi Guru was shocked by the truth the man had told him.

Their forbidden cultivation method, more ancient and refined than the usual demonic manual method, had caused their cultivation state to become dissonant, rendering their potential and body refinement useless and preventing further advancement.

In the short term, they became crippled in the face of traditional cultivation methods. However, their ancient forbidden method also granted them overpowered healing techniques, surpassing those of Earth Realm cultivators and on par with Immortals' healing abilities.

The Sect Master promised to continue practicing the forbidden method by providing the second manual, but only those deemed worthy would be granted access to the continuation manual.

The continuation method focuses on rejuvenating cultivation and restoring it to its original state without losing healing techniques, allowing cultivators to advance again.

So he was surprised to hear the negative effect from a man without trying hard and he couldn't hide his astonishment.

In the world of cultivation, it is generally understood that those in higher realms can estimate the cultivation state of those in lower realms, but they cannot do so perfectly.

However, this man seemed to be an exception. He seemed to be able to do just that.

It suddenly occurred to him that this man, who showed no fluctuations in Spiritual Qi, was not an ordinary person.

Cultivators cannot accurately discern the cultivation level of cultivators, regardless of their realm. What more for an ordinary man?

Reluctantly, he had to admit that this man was extraordinary.

His brain refused to accept it, but his expression and feelings betrayed him. The man in front of him was clearly far beyond the Nascent Soul Realm.

It seemed impossible, but the evidence was right in front of him.

It dawned on him the sacrifice he made to join the Snake Devouring Sect to prolong his life. This caused his heart to burn in anger.

The demented Great Elder Xi Guru laughed like a madman.

"HAHAHA! Good! Very good!"

A mix of emotions overwhelms him as he fails to control his Spiritual Qi.

His laughter, erratic energy, and uncontrolled Spiritual Qi bring the ongoing battle to a stop, as everyone watches the impending confrontation between Great Elder Xi Guru and an apparently ordinary person.

"HAHA! You're a fraud! You are a fraud!" His heart refuses to accept that an Immortal stands before him.

"Your calm demeanor, self-assured manner, and impassive expression all reflect the true power of an Immortal but I will expose you as a fraud!" declares Great Elder Xi Guru as he materializes in front of the alleged fraud.

He reaches for the man's neck, but the supposed fraud disappears before he can make contact.

Trained for this type of battle, he instinctively activated his divine senses to locate his opponent but failed.

He had calculated that his divine senses would reach even the outside of this place, but he looked around and saw the sky without finding his opponent.

His heart, which had calmed down due to the different surges of his emotions, began to beat wildly.

"No! This is impossible! You're a fraud! How were you able to pull it off?!" he exclaimed, acting like an insane person and affecting the morale of his disciples.

If their Elder is acting this way, it means the opponent is extremely powerful.

One by one, they started to retreat until all of them rushed through the passage to escape outside.

The elders of the Sky Heaven Piercing Sect noticed this and quickly followed to block the passage.

However, they were a second too late as Great Elder Xi Guru himself descended and blocked the passage, his eyes bloodshot.

"None of you are leaving without my permission! Everyone, lend me your strength, and I will defeat this fraud and present his body to the Sect Master! Absorbing his body and soul will deem me worthy of the continuation manual! HAHAHA!" His chilling voice sent shivers down the spines of all the disciples and inner elders he had brought.

With a flick of his hand, he produced a light purple orb that began to absorb the blood of all his disciples.

The elders from the Sky Heaven Piercing Sect were quick enough to avoid being sucked in.

"HAHA! Your sacrifice will not be in vain! I will make sure of that!"

Great Elder Xi Guru laughed as the disciples and elders from the Sky Heaven Piercing Sect watched in disgust as he fed the purple orb of his disciple's blood.
