"The nest should be somewhere here."

The group had already arrived at the location where Raghav finished off his first Venom Ant. At this moment, the whole place was a wreck with scratches on the trunk of the surrounding trees.

Evidently, the corpse of the venom ant really angered the whole pack of ant.

The three girls surveyed the location before Anmol looked towards the west direction with a glint passing through her eyes.

"Found it."

She pointed at the direction and waited for others to start moving.

"How did you find it?", Deepika asked Anmol as they prepared for their upcoming battle.

"Venom Ants secretes a large amount of residual poison from their antlers to nourish their eggs. I can feel the decay of land due to that residual poison from that direction."

Anmol spoke up.

Deepika focused her senses in the pointed direction and sure enough, she also felt it.

"We really lucked out with Anmol here." Raghav was happy to praise the eccentric beauty as she once again clung on him.

"Let's start by scouting the area. There will be many ants protecting their eggs and their maybe other Adventurers too." Radhika suggested.

"Leave it to me."

Deepika spoke as she jumped on one of the trees and shuttled through the area to scout the surroundings.

"You two, wait here. I will go with Deepika." Raghav also spoke as he quickly followed Deepika.

As he caught up to her, Deepika couldn't help but ask, "Why would you follow me? It is a simple scout."

"No! It is not just a simple scout. From now on, we have to remain in the team of two at least. Don't forget that this an important assignment from the sect which will benefit us greatly. The same thing goes for others and many sects would definitely try to attack us to slow our progress."

Deepika thought and agreed with his reasoning and suddenly let out an enchanting smile.

"Oh, that is all well. Why don't you stop staring at my butt if the assignment is so important?"

All this time, Raghav had been following her instead of moving together.

"Ah, well no matter how important the assignment is, I will bring us to the first place. So I decided to do a little sightseeing along the way."

"Cheh, you are being arrogant. Not even mentioning those Violet Bitches, there are still five more top sects in this competition."

Deepika frowned a little. Flirting around with Raghav was alright but she didn't want him to feel overconfident about his skills and abilities.

"It's not arrogance, I just thought of another method of finding out more nests." Raghav smiled.

Before she could ask more, they both sensed something and stopped on their tracks.

From the tree branch they both stood on, both of them could see a Venom Ant slowly walking inside a cave. The entrance of the cave was well hidden by shrubs and mud. The opening of the cave was approximately one meter and the whole cave looked like an underground cave since there was no space to expand the cave on the surface.

Deepika and Raghav nodded at each other and slowly made their way towards the entrance of the cave.

As soon as they entered the area, they were assaulted with a terrible smell that made Raghav and Deepika frown. They both didn't speak to each other and moved deeper inside the cave. The road was slowly slanting downwards as they soon encountered a venom ant walking 3 metres ahead of them.

The cave was quite dark and the road to the underground area seemed quite long.

Deepika's icy-blue eyes shined and she launched herself towards the ant. A pair of Azure gauntlet suddenly covered her fists and she punched towards the head of the Venom Ant.

18 Strikes of Azure Fists.

This was the martial technique practised by Deepika. The use of this technique allowed the practitioner to use their spiritual qi to wrap their fist in an Azure Gauntlet. The Technique had 18 strikes in total and each of the strikes has a different kind of gauntlet with different effects.

With her low cultivation, Deepika managed to master the first strike of the technique that increased the damage from her attacks.

Puchi

The exoskeleton of the ant remained ineffective as it broke in a single strike. The punch made its way and easily crushed the brain of the ant.

The moment the ant died, Raghav took out a red pill and crushed it on the dying ant's body.

"We have five minutes. Hurry up."

Raghav exclaimed and shot towards the underground cave.

Both of them didn't find any other ant in their way and soon entered the underground cave.

The whole cave was almost 8-9 metred high and quite spacious. A pit was filled with black eggs and many ants were slowly secreting their poison from their antlers.

Tug

Deepika tugged Raghav's shirt soundlessly and pointed towards a certain direction.

There were six green-coloured ants with 2 metres high body and dark red antlers. They were currently feasting on the flesh of some poor creature. The condition of the corpse was so bad that they couldn't even identify the poor monster.

"Mutant Venom Ants." Raghav exclaimed in his heart.

Raghav and Deepika soon retreated.

"Let's plant some explosives on the top of the cave."

Raghav proposed.

"Wouldn't that kill most of them?" Deepika asked with some surprise.

"It is as you proclaimed. We have to ascend to the next floor in two days. Farming of experience points can be quite easy on higher floors and we won't suffer much compared to regular humans because we have our cultivation to rely on. An average Qi Transformation cultivator can match up to level 4 and the first floor has the cap of level 3. Moreover, there are more than 300 ants and 200 something eggs alongside six mutants. We won't be able to kill all them in one strike and it will leave quite a big portion for others. With explosives, we can bury the ants that we couldn't finish off."

Raghav didn't wait for Deepika's approval since they had very less time remaining before the other ants of the pack know about the death of their comrade.

A large number of explosives were implanted. These explosives were designed according to the dynamites since electronic connections are useless here.

"Let's go."

They both sped back to Anmol and Radhika.
