Wherever Raghav's hand passed through, a bloody cut would open up on the body of Venom Ants. His movements were erratic and already difficult to keep up but the beast incense made it even harder for the group of Venom Ants to attack him precisely.

By the time one of the ants recovered from the attack, Raghav would have already killed or seriously injured another ant. His palms were shining intensely and the sharpness of his attack had already surpassed the level of the first floor of the dungeon.

Of course, this usage brought an extreme burden to his pool of spiritual qi.

Deepika, Radhika and Anmol were in the same position. Their attacks had become more fierce but their spiritual qi was expending at a quick rate.

The kill count of the group had almost touched a hundred when all the ants started to become more spirited.

"Damn! The effect of beast incense is already used up." Deepika couldn't help but shout as her punch crushed another head of Venom Ant.

"Don't you have more?" Radhika asked with some anxiety.

"That would be useless. It takes some time before the incense starts affecting the monsters and I can sense some strong monsters coming out of the cave. They are probably those mutants."

Raghav responded with some bitterness. His hands slashed apart the venomous antlers of the beast and his another strike cut the beast's head in half.

The strange sound erupted from the depths of the cave as the ants on the surface quickly converged together.

This move allowed the group to have some time to calm their breaths. They quickly took out their Qi Refining Pills and ate it to recover their lost spiritual qi.

As the recuperated for some moments, the ants remained busy as viscous purple liquid started to secrete from their antlers.

Seeing this Raghav's and Deepika's expression changed.

"Change of plan. We won't be waiting for those mutants to arrive. Anmol, pressure them for a minute."

Raghav quickly spoke and ran near the explosives he had planted earlier.

Anmol also used her Ability and all the ants immediately lost control of their bodies and slammed on the ground.

BOOOOOOOOMMM

At that very moment, the explosives surrounding the entrance of the cave and placed above the hollow space of the underground cave exploded.

The ground shook as many cracks appeared on the entrance of the underground cave. The ground behind the entrance crumbled inside and the underground cave was completely buried with rocks and large pieces of stones that didn't turn into dust after the explosion.

Even though the explosion affected the group, it didn't hurt anyone physically. The Ants, on the other hand, immediately felt very anxious and started struggling against the pressure, increasing the mental burden on Anmol.

"Alright, let's finish these and leave this place." Radhika sighed in a depressed manner.

This operation could be considered a failure but she didn't feel that bad because even she understood that not everything went according to their timings and plans.

The group soon finished the remaining ants and quickly took their leave.

"I really feel bad about the mutant ants, though. They could have dropped some poisonous items you know." Raghav sighed as the group shuttled through the forest.

They didn't intend to return to the beginner city and rushed towards the monster nest discovered by their sect during their previous exploration.

Once a monster nest is spawned, it remains in that very location for a minimum of ten years. This is the reason why maps with the location of monster nests were so popular and why many sects were not willing to share their maps with others.

"No worries. We all have a D-Rank item handed out by the sect and even our storage ring is a piece of C-rank equipment. All we need to focus is farming and ascending." Deepika consoled the group.

"Our next target is a nest of Canine Bunnies. Let's hope we manage to find a lucky mutant. By the way, how far are you guys from reaching level 2?"

Radhika asked with curiosity.

"I have 36% XP points" Anmol gave out her number.

"Hmm? I have reached 28% XP points." Raghav replied.

"My XP bar is filled by 33%" Deepika also spoke out.

"Oh? That means I have the highest amount." Radhika replied happily.

The three looked at her as if waiting for her to tell her XP points.

"I have reached 48%"

Holly had already returned near the nest and her forces had increased by many times. The original six sect mates had already been left on the Night City and she had returned with various disciples of various sects with the news that a new nest had been found.

Not only sect disciples, but even the top Adventurers of the first floor had also arrived at this location. Ordinarily, such a force could not be grouped within the matter of dozens of minutes but Night City was the base of Night Wing Sect and this title drew in much excellent personnel.

"Miss Holly, I found traces of battle in that direction. The whole place has caved in already."

A brawny man with bulging muscles spoke in a respectful manner. His entire posture looked like a servant talking to his master.

"What?"

Holly and the others dashed towards the pointed direction and their expression turned ugly.

This was a recently spawned nest with a high chance of Mutant Monsters appearing. This meant that they would be able to have a chance to obtain monster equipment.

"Those girls are too ruthless. They destroyed the whole nest. It would take months for this place to spawn another monster nest." A young boy in red clothes and a flame insignia on his uniform spoke with indignation.

"Those girls may not be too much of problem in front of such a large group. It is that mysterious Raghav. None of us has ever seen him. We don't even know if his existence is real or the sect has just made it up." Another man with the same sect uniform spat coldly.

"No! He is very real. His methods are extremely erratic and even senior sister cannot find his traces when the Upbringing sect announced that he has left the sect to experience the outside world." Holly gritted her teeth.

"Junior Brothers, even we are tight on time. We inner disciples of the Flaming Defiance Sect pay our gratitude to Inner Disciple Holly. We need to follow in the footsteps of our senior brothers and quickly reach the tenth floor. We won't take your time anymore." A gentle looking man with a flame insignia spoke humbly and took his group of ten disciples away.

Flaming Defiance Sect was ranked as the topmost sect on Earth. The Upbringing Sect came right after the Flaming Defiance Sect followed by the Night Wings Sect.

Seeing the disciples of the top-ranked sect return with such a bad impression of the Night Wings Sect caused Holly to feel incomparable hatred towards the three known girls of the young generation of the upbringing sect and the only unknown male of the sect.

"Senior Brother! Why did you just leave like that? We should make the disciples from Upbringing Sect pay."

The only girl from the group of the Flaming Defiance shouted with indignation. She had crimson red hairs and her eyes were emerald green. Her hair was tied into two ponytails and her uniform was a little different from the group. Instead of a red flame on her uniform, a blue flame was inscribed.

Her face had some freckles that made her beauty very refreshing and charming.

The warm looking senior brother shook his head and smiled bitterly.

"Asuka, your elder brother has already ascended to the second floor and made me responsible for your well being. If we actually fight with the Upbringing Sect's disciple, I won't even be able to ensure my own safety."

The flaming girl was stunned for a long period of time.

"Are they really that powerful?" She couldn't believe it. Her brother was the only legacy disciple of the entire Flaming Defiance Sect. One had to know that the status of the Legacy disciple wasn't any lower than the sect elders.

"Do you still remember the information about the Upbringing Sect given to you along with other notes?"

Asuka nodded and repeated with a look of confidence.

"Upbringing sect consists of one Matriarch, one holy maiden, eight elders, one Legacy Disciple and 165 regular disciples."

"Why do you think that the Upbringing Sect was able to reach the second rank even when they have only this much disciples and cultivators?" The senior asked another question.

"Hmm, isn't that because of their Matriarch being really overpowered?"

Asuka asked with some doubt.

He shook his head and spoke one of the most confidential information. This news was very ordinary to inner disciples like them but outer disciples and the public didn't know about the truth.

"During the period of previous slaughter, Matriarch only accompanied and killed her own three disciples which included one of her personal disciple, also known for being a legacy disciple in the upbringing sect. The rest of the slaughter was executed by the holy maiden itself. At that point in time, the holy maiden had just given birth to the so-called Raghav and she was incomparably weak. But even then, no Cultivator could take a stand in front of her blade." He spoke with a grim tone.

"And you should know one more thing. If your elder brother actually fought against Anmol or Deepika of the Upbringing sect, he has a high chance of getting defeated. This signifies the quality of even regular disciples of the Upbringing Sect and why they are in such a high position."

He continued without noticing the already pale Asuka.

"And you shouldn't believe the words of the disciples of Violet Wings since they have a personal vendetta against them."

Asuka felt speechless and a little fearful after getting to know some of the past actions of the Upbringing Sect but she didn't know that her senior Brother had still hidden some information from her.

"We didn't have a lot of time previously. Now, we will use the formation to attack this nest. This is our last day on the first floor. We will move towards the Temple of Ascension tomorrow." Deepika spoke seriously.

The night has already descended on the dungeon and the group had set up a fireplace to camp around for some time and replenish their stamina.

"Damnit! I so wanted to teach those Violet Bitches some manners. Hehe, they would have felt a pinch when they reached the monster nest."

Radhika was hugging Raghav from the right while Anmol hugged him from the left side. Deepika had her head on his lap as they all rested.

"That is all well but this position is a little awkward. I should be the one with my head on your thighs." Raghav spoke in a depressing manner.

"No way! Your body temperature is warmer and your body is squishy even if it has a lot of muscles. It is the best texture." Deepika spike as she closed her eyes with a smile.

"Once again, this should be my line." Raghav felt aggrieved. But he felt a little better when he felt Anmol's and Radhika's body clinging on to him.

"Well, tomorrow is my turn." Raghav spoke as he leaned back to the trunk of the tree.

"Say, you could have handled all of them easily. Why didn't you just cripple them." Raghav couldn't help but ask Radhika.

"Tsk tsk, there won't be any element of surprise then. I want to crush their Legacy disciple when we enter the Battle Adventurer Contest." Radhika smiled mischievously.

"That Red-haired hunk is mine." Deepika also spoke out.

"Whatever, I just have to reach the first place." Anmol also spoke out this time.

"Sigh, you guys are lucky. I can't even move without my mask when I have to roam the outside world." Raghav lamented his fate.

"Hmph, if others saw your face, it would be detrimental for the three of us. So keep it this way. You don't look half bad even in this mask."

Radhika snorted and snuggled closer.

This time, a piercing blue light passed by Raghav's eyes.

"Well, it won't take long before I make my official debut. Maybe I will target the Matriarch of Violet Wings. She is supposed to be a legendary beauty and her techniques are otherworldly."

A perverted smile flashed by his face as he still remembered the curves of the mature beauty.

"Don't think of stupid things. She won't even leave a drop of you after she is finished with you. Isn't there some rumours about her having a daughter too. She is supposed to be our age. Why don't you target her? Maybe she has inherited her mother's Techniques?"

Deepika said with a strange smile.

"Hmm, well, no. I don't even know what she looks like and her methods may be crueller than her mother. Alright, enough resting. We only have three hours until midnight. We have to move to the temple of ascension after this stop."

"Mmh"

The three nodded and stretched their bodies. A piercing blue light shining from their eyes too.
