Raghav also booked a luxurious room at the inn by simply showing his sect badge. His bedroom had a master bed and a bathroom attached to the room. The bathroom was made of pure white tiles and had a modern water system that could be seen on Earth. This craftsmanship made Raghav feel endless appreciation towards the creativity of the human mind.

He took a quick bath before settling on his master bedroom. He closed his eyes and entered the evolution site once again.

The sky was still red and the ground looked fresh. His doubts towards the so-called system grew even more when he entered the evolution site without the need of commanding the system.

He looked around for a while before sitting near the slime to cultivate.

The cultivation system on Earth could be categorised into two main branches:– Spiritual Qi Cultivation, Body Cultivation.

The Qi Cultivation allows the cultivator to absorb the spiritual qi found in the nature to improve the bodily functions as well as allowing the cultivator to wield qi. In the legends, it is said that the highest state of Cultivation can allow the cultivator to be immortal.

But there is one strict requirement to cultivate with spiritual qi– Spiritual Roots. This is a special organ found in the centre of the torso of the human body. This organ is present inside every human being, but it is usually in the state of hibernation and it can be activated by some humans only. The activation rate of the spiritual roots is also based on the talent and potential of the human body.

Body Cultivation, on the other hand, does not have such a restriction. If one has a functioning body, they can dabble in the path of the Body Cultivation. This type of Cultivation enhances the specs of the body and also increase the strength of the body. But it is a pity that the resources for Cultivation of the body are very rare and even a sect like Upbringing sect gives these kinds of resources only on some occasions.

That being said, there is one benefit of cultivating the body– Activation of Spiritual Roots. There have been rare geniuses of the body Cultivation path that could stimulate their potential to unlock their spiritual roots at the later stages of their life. One such example is the current President of the UHF. He was a mere mortal who cultivated his body bitterly and increased his ranks through the dungeon. During his mid-thirties, he accidentally activated his Spiritual Roots causing his power to increase at a breathtaking speed.

Raghav, Deepika, Radhika and Anmol had also decided to cultivate in both the paths.

Raghav slowly regulated his breathing as wisps of spiritual qi kept on flowing inside Raghav's body through the spiritual pond.

The Qi Cultivation had nine major bottlenecks and were further restricted by three minor bottlenecks.

But before they could start cultivating and make their first major breakthrough, they had to cultivate the foundations of the body.

These included:– Qi Circulation, Qi Transformation, Qi Solidification.

When one has achieved these three steps, they can finally take their first step towards Qi Cultivation.

Raghav and his team were precisely on the step of qi transformation.

The first stage allows the cultivator to circulate the qi inside his body and store it.

The second stage allows the cultivator to refine and transform the Qi according to their own body and Bloodline. This will let them use a unique Qi with special properties.

The third stage allows the cultivator to solidify the transformed qi as a foundation for their further cultivation.

Raghav was using the Sect's Cultivation method:– Pure Yin Practices. It was originally a method of cultivation for girls with their virginity intact but Raghav's background was quite complicated, allowing him to use this Cultivation technique of one of the strongest sects.

The spiritual qi kept on entering his body and moved along the predetermined path set by Raghav. As the qi kept on revolving inside his body, it kept on reducing and the temperature of his body parts reduced by a slight amount as this ice blue qi revolved inside his body.

'Alright, it will arrive in a few moments, brace for impact and try to combine both of them.'

As he cautioned himself, again and again, a warm current of energy erupted from his upper torso and rushed towards the cold qi revolving inside his body.

Raghav vomited a mouthful of blood and almost lost his consciousness. The unmoved slime besides him rushed towards him and jumped around him. Raghav could feel the concerns of the slime from their blood connection.

He softly patted the soft and round body of the light blue slime before making it absorb and digest the spiritual qi once again.

'Sigh, do I really have no future with Pure Yin Practices?' Even though this technique was highly coveted, especially by many strong females, Raghav only felt disappointed from this technique.

It was not that he didn't have any other qi cultivation techniques, in fact, he even had a better one than the Pure Yin Practices. He sighed and his storage ring flashed before ejecting a Gray booklet.

The booklet was not too thin, almost the size of a regular textbook.

Raghav opened the first page and almost lost the control of his blood flow once again. On the first page was the name of the technique alongside an erotic image with the depictions of qi movements.

This technique was called The Unity Technique- A Dual Cultivation Technique that benefited both the male and the female counterpart. This technique was handed down by his mother before she fell into a coma.

He could only sigh at his own imagination. At first, he was quite excited since he didn't have any problem in finding the female counterpart for the technique. He would spend most of his days imagining many sect disciples cultivating this technique with him in the same positions if not better ones. Alas, a human's imagination is boundless and all his hopes crumbled apart when he accidentally thought about his mom cultivating this technique with his unknown father.

No son would be able to think further and continue with such a cultivation after imagining the forbidden scene that could lead him to his worst nightmares.

He shook his head before stuffing the manual inside his ring once again.

'Let's explore this site then.' Since he couldn't cultivate for the moment, he decided to explore the function of this dimension.

'Evolution site, huh.'

All he could see was a pitch black altar with a slash mark alongside this spiritual pond.

He picked up the slime and walked towards the altar. He could only think of one possibility after observing his surroundings.

He gently placed the slime on the concrete platform, near the foot of the altar.

"EVOLVE." He shouted aloud and made an exaggerated gesture with his hands wide open.

Raghav felt his face burning up when he sensed the Slime's awkward feeling.

"Uhm"

He quickly faked a cough and tried the other method he could think of. The little amount of spiritual qi inside his body churned and tried to probe the majestic altar. The moment his spiritual energy touched the altar, Raghav's eyes turned a little daze. This situation lasted for almost 15 minutes before he came to be.

'I see.'

When his spiritual qi contacted the altar, he suddenly gained a lot of information about the altar and its usage. With his meagre spiritual energy, he could only understand a small amount of information, but he had correctly guessed one thing. The voice ringing inside his head continuously wasn't any system, it was another consciousness that was covering the altar instead.

'So what is it? Whose consciousness could it be? It could be mom's, but she would have just told me directly about such stuff.' He thought of many possibilities and even his father was included.

If he had to bet, he would bet on his mysterious father. After all, he was the only man known that could impregnate a woman of the Upbringing Sect with a boy.

"So it just isn't an Evolution site, huh."

Many medicinal plants flew out of his storage ring and fell at the centre of the concrete platform. Raghav picked up the slime and let it continue its cultivation since it wouldn't be able to Evolve until it reaches the first major stage of its Cultivation.

As all the medicinal plants were placed, his ring flashed once more and a piece of paper emerged from his ring. Raghav placed the paper on the body of the altar before it was absorbed. After the paper was absorbed, many strange words appeared on its pitch black body in silver-white colour.

Even though the words were incomprehensible, Raghav understood it without any problem since this altar was 'attached' to him by blood.

Even though Raghav had lost one of his blood essences to tame the slime, he still had sixteen blood essence inside him. And as he cultivates, the number would keep on growing.

He quickly bit his thumb and forced out a blood essence and let it drop on the main body of the altar. His face paled visibly with the loss of a single blood essence, but his foundation remained undamaged and he was even feeling a little excited. If this actually worked, not only his essence blood will be reproduced, he would even be able to make huge gains.

He sat near the foot of the altar and started filling the remaining spiritual qi inside his body.

There weren't any shocking changes except the fact that the pitch black altar looked a little more luminous and the ingredients on the platform started to flash bright colours as they started to combine and mix.

Raghav took out a white pill before crushing it and inhaling it. His depleted spiritual qi was restored quickly and he kept on supplying the spiritual qi to the altar until the refinement finished.

On the platform were now four light green pills that exuded a beautiful aroma. Raghav looked at these pills with an excited expression.
