Questboard in the guild was this day really a great package of papers and drawings of monsters.

Some bigger, in size and in importance, like "Great disaster on the east " . Seems dangerous.

But Aries wasn`t interested in the quests danger or money today.

As today, he has a one-time chance to be one-on-one with Elandra.

And well, what he hopes will happen, is quite obvious.

~mmm  we need something chill. Like finding lost people . Or just a quick subjugation… ~

-Hey Aries. – Elandra came to him with a quest proposition – Goblin`s sighted in the village –

He took a quick glance. Monster slaughter. Right, one of the more popular problems.

~Ugh. Fighting? With her on the back? Oh wait, good time to impress. 

And the walk is quite long compared to the fighting time. ~

-Sure why not, doesn`t seem like a hard one. And the rewards aren`t bad -  he tried to talk about other reasons to go.

-Good.... I`ll be right here in a second… - And she ran away..

He glanced at Lisa. She just put the thumb up and also turned away.

~what. Is . going .on ~ confused teenager with two women around him.

People on the ground around him started to wake up.

-Good timing, it`s been hours since the sun set. –

-They`re up – Lisa turned back instantly – GREAT. Bring him here, I have work for him – 

Aries listened , and basically dragged the poor half-asleep adventurer to her desk.

-Thank you Aries.  Go have fun  - And she dragged him further into a dark room with a grand smile.

~I…. should not get on her nerves ~

-I`m back. – Elandra came to him . She did have a bit different clothes on.

-Adventure gear I assume? – He glanced. – Looks good – 

-Yea, I had to change the normal ones . – She fixed her hair fast.

-Cool. We`re off then. – And since no one was awake to said goodbye, they just left.

------Long walk time-------

And I could just write how the two started to talk about themselves.

But why. It would be long. Boring. Excpected. 

And nothing much out of it would come out.

Okey, maybe exept the fact that Elandra was a half-elf, born from the northern forest.

Guess that is a bit more interesting than the rest.

And since Aries was a teen, and a fantasy lover, it excited him even more.

So they talked about elves for most of the time.

And that`s how they spend 2-3 hours of walking and talking.

And soon they reached the village. 

Well the remains of it at least.

Some buildings were clearly burned , others just broken down, other even still standing.

But for sure one thing, not anyone alive in here.

-Huh. That is not what I excpected – Aries slowly said.

-What? I thought you read the quest? – Elandra stated a bit angry.

-I did. Village, goblins, kill, money . Was there more? – 

<long exhale from her> -YES. Yes there was . –

-there was? Like what ? – He was a bit confused but still happy. Weird combo.

She didn`t even bother to say it.

~Hmmm. Not good. ~

But finally he started to focus on work – hunting monsters.

And on the ground near him were visible some foot prints.

Not human.

He leaned in closer to inspect.

Yes, definitely not human, large holes and deep signs of….claws?

Goblins don`t have fingertips that long. And pointy.
