The Four Uncles!

The scene was inside a secret room deep underground in the Lin Manor. Four noble-looking men were sitting around a round table and having a secret meeting. They were four uncles of Donghai Lin; Lin Zhou, Lin Min, Lin Meng, and Lin Jun.

"My dear brothers, I am summoning all of you today to discuss a serious problem we will face soon." Lin Zhou, the first uncle, said opening the discussion.

He then continued, "It's regarding father's recent biased treatments toward us and our kids. He is doing everything without consideration for others here to please that little brat Lin Donghai." He gnashed his teeth when he forced the name at the end of his word.

"Yes, I concur with that. I can't stand this anymore. This is injustice for us. First, before he was even born, his mother Xuan Xuan had been given the privilege to use our father's cultivation room. And what about my wife? My wife was pregnant at that time too. What I'm angrier about is not our father but our youngest brother Lin Han?" Lin Min, the second uncle responded and yelped at the top of his lunge, releasing all of his pent-up tension brewing up in his chest.

"I can't agree more. Also, our youngest brother always stays alone and just converses occasionally with us. I think he is either foolish or trying to act ignorant to suck all the opportunities to himself while spewing nonsense in father's ears." Lin Jun, the fourth uncle said.

"Hmm, after that obnoxious brat Lin Donghai's birth, our father has been doing everything to please him. As everyone here has known about them, right? Hmph! Just to find a dog, all the people of the Xue Prefecture were summoned and expended a lot of resources to feed them and even caused such a ruckus to snatch my son's puppy and give it to him… That's not the end, that brat even demanded to buy and brought a damn donkey into Lin Manor's territory breaking the old rule. Our father complies with the brat." Lin Zhou, the 1st uncle said, and then asked, "Now, did you get my points here?"

"First brother, can I add something here?" asked Lin Meng, the third Uncle who had been silent all this time.

"Sure! You're the thinker among us. Carry on. I would like to hear about your opinion too." Lin Zhou, the first Uncle said.

Lin Meng, the third uncle, gulped down a mouthful of wine and said calmly, "Sorry to say this. I don't quite agree with all of your opinions."

The other three frowned but they remained silent.

Lin Meng, the third uncle, further added, laughing hysterically: "What are you? Eight?... Hahaha, stop complaining about favoritism here. We are not kids anymore. The right question you all have to ask in this situation is, why is our father trying so hard to please our dear nephew Lin Donghai? Do you think father is a fool to spend his time and resources on a simple brat just because our youngest brother tells him? Now ponder this carefully and answer me again. Why is our dear old dad doing all of these?" His words were like a gigantic hammer hammering them, shaking their inner thought.

A moment of clarity struck their minds, and the room filled with a sense of peace and serenity once more.

"Don't tell me? That obnoxious little brat Lin Donghai is another genius like his older brother Lin Yimin!" Lin Zhou exclaimed and the air of jealousy transpired among the three brothers.

"Yes, 3rd brother is right. That kid didn't seem ordinary at all. We must try something like we did to Lin Yimin like last time and figure out his secret too." Lin Min, the second uncle suggested.

Then the discussion in the room became heated up while the third Brother Lin Min made a smirk and quickly returned to normal and he thought, 'Hee-hee-hee, now my purpose for coming here is already fulfilled.'

After pondering for a while, Lin Zhou, the 1st brother said, "Mmm-hmm, fine I have a perfect plan in my mind. Why don't we…."

Before he finished his word, Lin Meng, the third brother jumped in saying: "Wait!" And he stood up.

"Big brother, I'm here to show my respect to you since you invited me here. As the secret meeting is going on, I don't think it's a good idea to catch fire between you and our father. He said courteously and then he thought, 'The doubt has already been planted. 1st brother, you're the expert in coming up with such shady stuff since we were kids. Now, let me see how good your performance will be this time. Don't disappoint me. And sorry, I can't join in your stupid charade for now since I couldn't still understand even a bit about our youngest brother yet. Hmm, thinking about him I could not understand his current cultivation level and even more, I felt a dangerous feeling from him. So, you three be my cannon fodder and make him reveal his real strength. Hee-hee-hee, this will be like killing four birds with a stone.'

Then he clasped his hands at them and dashed out of the secret chamber.

"Ah, this kid is doing it again. I should teach him a good moral lesson this time." Lin Min, the second brother, said and stood up angrily.

Yes, Lin Meng walked out of the meeting just like that when they plotted the plan to reveal the secret of the Donghai Lin's Elder brother Lin Yimin and they succeeded in finding out that he had the heavenly Double pupil eyes. Which made it harder for little Lin Yimin to stay further in the Lin Manor and joined the Silver Blade Sect to hide from those evil cultivators who wanted to steal his eyes.

Lin Zhou, the first brother, said waving and making Lin Min, the Second brother to make him sit back in his seat. And he wondered in his head, 'Third Brother, if you wish to stay neutral then I don't care. But if you were plotting something behind my back then I'll finish you with my own hands.'
