50 Red Eye Heart Root!

A phantom suddenly appeared, materializing into a silhouette wearing a full black cloak and a black mask covering his face. Then the man in black punched while blocking the punch that contained the strength of 2 elephants

Bang!

With the loud banging sound of the explosion, both of them were propelled from the point of their contact. The black silhouette caught Du Yimu and jumped back. While Patriarch Lin Ren was also forced back, Daoist Chu Yin appeared out of the blue before Donghai Lin's three uncles near the explosion area.

Then Daoist Chu Yin waved with the back of his palm and the strong torrent of unstable energy directed toward him disappeared mysteriously.

"Thank you, Uncle Chu!" Lin Zhou, the first uncle said politely while cupping his hands and the other two also followed, cupping their hands to Daoist Chu Yin.

Daoist Chu Yin reciprocated with a kind smile and then turned his attention to the man in the black cloak.

"Patriarch Lin, what is the meaning of this?... My Alchemy Union is kind enough to send out a tier-3 Alchemist to examine and help your Lin Family's future to be patriarch." The man in disguise said in a husky voice, covering his authentic tone.

Patriarch Lin Ren responded as he blurted into a peal of laughter, "Help? Hahaha…" Then he added with a serious tone, "Stop making jokes with me. It was exactly like the last time. And it's your damn Alchemy Union that is making a big mistake by sending the one who I have been dreaming to kill every day."

"Hohoho! Patriarch Lin, I'm here to help your precious grandson. But without any reason, you have threatened to kill me and even attack me. So, this is how your famous Lin Family threatened us, alchemists." Du Yimu said cynically while laughing. "Fine, if I'm not welcome then I'll take my leave."

"As if I'll let go that easily. Today, only your lifeless corpse can pass the walls of my Lin Manor." Old Patriarch Lin Ren yelled. And then with a warcry, he dashed toward Du Yimo once again.

But he halted abruptly as Daoist Chu Yin appeared in front of him.

"Patriarch Lin, don't be rash. If you kill him then the aftermath would leave your family in a precarious situation. Let's end this matter with no bloodshed today." Daoist Chu Yin whispered as he hit lightly on his back.

Then he glanced at the man disguised in a full black suit and said, "Take your master away from here within ten breaths. And also keep this in mind, if we see him once more then we will kill him in sight. Leave!"

Just as the old man Du Yimo was about to leave, a voice that sounded a bit childish stopped them.

"Wait!"

Everyone glanced at the source of the voice and spotted little Donghai Lin walking forward.

"Grandpa, leave this matter to me." He said as his lips curled up into a wide smile.

Then Donghai Lin announced, "Hey, old man, I heard you are here to check up on my eyes. And you are already here. Also, today I'm kind of busy since I'm planning to start my journey leaving my family."

He then strolled toward him with his hands folding behind his back and said, "There is no need to waste each other's time here. Alright, go on, you can begin your observation."

"Eh, young master Lin Donghai, I really like to help you. But, Patriarch Lin will not be happy with this. What if he tries to kill me again?" Du Yimo said slyly.

"Oh, I get it." Donghai Lin turned his head to old Patriarch Lin Ren and said, "Grandpa, if this drama keeps going on then I'm afraid I'll not reach the destination I have planned in my mind today. So, let this old fella check up on my eyes, and let's end this already in my way."

Then he turned his attention to Du Yimo and said, "Well, do anything you need to diagnose my eyes? No one from my family will either threaten or make difficulties for you anymore. You can begin now."

Du Yimo glanced from one person to another, mostly to Patriarch Lin Ren and Daoist Chu Yin, and noticed that none of them disagreed with the words of Eight-year-old Donghai Lin. He saw only their glinted eyes and slight hesitation creep up in his head. But he shook his head thinking that there was no way this kid posed any threat to him and he also had a shadow protector. Then he said, "Alright then please have a seat here. I'll begin my diagnosis."

With no care little Donghai Lin crouched over the ground, sitting in a lotus position.

Du Yimo, the Tier-3 alchemy then made a series of hand seals and yelled, "Released!"

Then the next thing, something bright came out of his chest, and a reddish eyeball glowing with red dazzling light appeared. It levitated in the air and moved closer to Donghai Lin under Du Yimo's control.

"Young Master Lin Donghai, this is my level 1 Heart root; Red Eye. Actually, I'm pretty much trash in everything because of this worthless heart root*. But somehow, one day when I was your age my teacher found and scouted me into the Xue Alchemy Union.

After three decades of training under his guidance, I gained a unique ability of my trashy level 1 Heart Root, which is to discover any flaws in any cultivator's body, which other alchemists and physicians cannot. That's how I gained my reputation inside the Alchemy Union and in the entire Xue Prefecture." Du Yimo explained about the red glowing eyeball, floating in the air.

Donghai Lin said cheerfully while clapping his little hands and then he further added, "Um, Senior Du Yimo, now I'm all curious. Can you spill some beans on how this, I mean your red eyeball Heart Root works?"

Du Yimo was all smiling as he wondered in his head, 'Hmm, this kid is kinda sweet and pleasing to my eyes unlike all those people here… Maybe I must leave the leaf if I found out only some average secret of his body but if I find something really enticing secrets then I have no choice but to auction the pieces of information the same way I did to his elder brother.'

"I beg my pardon. Young Master Lin, I can't." He responded.
