Mentoring!

On the following day, after hearing about his departure, the twins always stuck close to Donghai Lin, tagging along wherever he went and never leaving him alone. They even slept in his chamber while nagging him not to go all the time.

As bait, Donghai Lin would offer a variety of enticing sweets and cakes to entice them. It would work for a few minutes but after they had eaten them, the cycle of nagging would continue once again.

Woof! Woof!

Even the white puppy who was minding his business got annoyed with their ranting and he said, projecting his inner voice telepathically in Donghai Lin's head: "Martial Uncle Lin, this is too much. I have had enough of this. Shall I teach them a good moral lesson to stop bothering you?"

"Eh, Blackie, that will not be necessary at all. In truth, I'm letting them do it on purpose as I kind of feel great when these two Sugar Boogers nag me. Hee-hee-hee, aren't they too cute?" Donghai Lin responded telepathically to Hui Lang, the White Puppy.

The white puppy whimpered, turned his head, and said in his archaic beast tongue. "Hmm as if they are. They just know how to eat, sleep and bother me relentlessly all the time."

"Oh Blackie, oh Blackie, you don't need to be resentful of them. They are just being kids after all; being playful and nagging is part of their charms. And what did you mean by teaching them a good moral lesson? Blackie, don't ever forget this? Xuan Er and Chan Er are my blood siblings in this life. So, they are your Martial Aunts too and your seniors. Did you feel me?" Donghai Lin responded in the same archaic beast tongue.

The white fluffy puppy sprung up on his limbs and responded briskly, "Yes, Martial Uncle Lin, it's my fault. I beg your pardon. This will never happen again." But on second-guessing, Hui Lang, the white puppy realized and he exclaimed in surprise, "Ah! How? Just how did you know our Archaic Noble Beast language?!"

"Hahaha…. Judging by the sound of your voice you must be pretty surprised, right? Well, actually when I was inside my mother's womb for the last nine months, other than practicing the cultivation technique I didn't have anything much to do which made me pretty tedious. So I spent my time browsing the memories of your last life and as I watched you growing up and somehow I managed to learn all of your languages." Donghai Lin responded and then he further added, "And I don't think you have done anything wrong to make an apology to me, yeah?"

"Oh, right. I should make my apology to the twin Martial Aunts instead." The White Fluffy puppy, Hui Lang said, and then he jumped down to the cold floor, dashed toward the twin who was folding around Donghai Lin's legs each, and then he touched their legs and made a whimpering sound telling them that he was sorry for his earlier discretion about them.

The puppy's whimpering voice attracted the twins' attention.

Seeing the cute-looking puppy making the whimpering sound mesmerized the twins.

"Ah, what a cute dog?! Come to me." Xuan Er said, stretching his hands to the puppy.

But before she managed to hold him, Chan Er, the Cold one was a step quicker, snatching the puppy and embracing him.

"Chan Er, I'm the first one this time. Why did you have snatched it like that? Give it to me." Xuan Er yelped and stretched her hand at Lin Chan.

"But I'm the first one to pick it up. So, it's mine." Chan Er retorted and reacted by running away, not wanting Xuan Er to get too close.

"No, you liar. It's mine." Xuan Er cried out and ran after Chan Er. Then soon the twins began a game of chasing around the vast chamber while feeling the room with their yelling.

Just after that, Donghai Lin took a long breath, sat down on his luxurious-looking chair, and muttered under his breath as a wide grin appeared on his face: "Success! Hahaha, now I finally got rid of those two non-stop chirping birds."

In the meantime, he closed his eyes while reclining his back and sipping tea. "Mmm-hmm, I miss this, my alone time!" He moaned in pleasure.

It took Xuan Er seven minutes to catch up with Chan Er, and their chasing game turned into a tug of war with the white puppy as the rope; one held Hui Lang by its ears and the other over its tail.

Woof! Woof! Woof!

Although the puppy barked, both twins didn't seem to care for him much because all that mattered to them was getting the puppy for themselves. So, Hui Lang changed his tactics to giving the puppy eyes and whimpering once again.

Although he had the strength to escape, he couldn't due to the fact that they were his Martial Aunts, as Donghai Lin had suggested earlier. And since all his charming tactics failed to pacify the twins' competitive mode, he projected his inner thought to Donghai Lin's head saying, "Martial Uncle Lin, please give me a hand."

"Blackie, just bare it for some time until they get bored of you. And yo! Don't you tell me earlier that you have already finished cultivating the first phase of the Invincible Celestial Wolf Divine Body Cultivation Technique? That pain is just a piece of cake for you. So bear it." Donghai Lin responded nonchalantly.

"Xuan Er, I'm the first one to pick him up and you are hurting him. Why don't you give up? I'll pass him to you after an hour." Chan Er, the cold one suggested.

"No, let him go. The puppy must be in pain. Let me hold him first." Xuan Er responded.

"Nah, that's never gonna happen." Chan Er, the cold one, yelled and grabbed the puppy fiercely, and Xuan Er also reacted fiercely.

"Ahh, help Martial Uncle Lin. Help!" Hui Lang screamed projecting his voice telepathically into Donghai Lin's head.

At that time, Donghai Lin stood up and said, "Girls, that's enough! Both of you are hurting little Blackie. Why don't you pass him to me before he gets hurt?"

But the two girls were still engaging in their tug of war.

"Hahaha, now I understand. Both of you never care or mind about your Gege's word. Tsk! Tsk! Tsk!" Donghai Lin said laughing dryly and he clicked his tongue shaking his head in disappointment.

The two released the white puppy at that moment, allowing him to fall freely, but he quickly dashed toward Lin and hid behind him.

"Martial Uncle Lin, do something?" Hui Lang, the white puppy barked at him.

Donghai Lin picked him up.

The next thing the twins rushed at him and began to bloviate and pour down a thousand apologies at him at the same time while glaring and snorting at each other.

"Alright, now, I know your problem. First, you don't want me to leave the Lin Manor, right?" Donghai Lin asked calmly.

The two little nodded their little heads as they beamed from ear to ear.

"And you want to hold little Blackie, yeah?" Donghai Lin asked again.

"Yes!" Both of them responded at the same time.

"Good! I have the means to decide everything. Well, you two must have already known about our Lin Family's tradition if you want to make someone do as you want from pa and ma? Then, challenge me to a duel. If you two can defeat me then I'll stay here while watching you two Sugar Boogers, growing up into two well-lassies. And the one who can land the final blow on me can have this puppy. Now, what did you think about my suggestion?" Donghai Lin suggested executing his second course of the plan which was to train them and also the plan to stop them from further nagging him.

"Hmm, that's not fair at all. Gege is already a strong man and we are just four years old girls. Why don't you give us a thousand handicapped moves?" Lin Xuan, the playful one responded and suggested slyly.

Donghai Lin pondered and responded, "Okay!"

But just at that moment, Xuan Er who was close to him caught him by folding her arms around his two legs and yelled, "Chan Er, now!"

Immediately, Chan Er jumped up, flipped multiple times in the air, and launched a flying kick aiming for his head as she used the Immortal Cripple Li's style.

Donghai Lin made a back folding motion while dodging Chan Er. Then he spun his body and quickly escaped from Xuan Er embraced.

"Chan Er, it was all your fault. You're too slow. Ugh! Missing such a golden opportunity. Next time, you do the holding thing while I do the flying thing." Lin Xuan blamed her after their joint attack failed.

"Hmph! As if you can beat our Gege!" Chan Er retorted along with a snort.

Hearing their discussion, Donghai Lin came to understand their tough love and he muttered under his breath while smiling wryly, "Wow, shrewdness is really contagious I almost got con by these twins. And their coordination is superb as if they have been training this move together for years."

And he yelled to them, "Come on, girls! Is this all you got?"

Then the two four-year-old girls darted at him and began to throw punches and kicks at him using seven drunken styles*. While Donghai Lin dodged them masterly while using the same styles. And in that whole process, he was teaching them the multiple minor flaws in their moves. Thus he began to teach his little sisters practically while solidifying their every move gradually.
