Drunken Master's Journey To Immortality

As I entered my late thirties, I was introduced to the world of spirits after years of abstaining from the consumption of alcohol. Now, with a thirst for adventure and an insatiable desire to sample every libation known to man, I long for a kindred spirit who shares my passion for potent potables and my penchant for indulgence. But fate had other plans for me, as I find myself suddenly transported to a magical realm, where swords clash and sorcery reigns supreme. Here, I must face the encroaching darkness, hoping that my devotion to the Dao of Drunkenness will lead me to victory, and allow me to reach the pinnacle of my potential. As I contemplate my future, I dream of reaching the heights of my chosen path, where even the most fearsome demons, celestial beings, and immortal entities will quake at the mere mention of my name. And as for sustenance, I crave the meat of mythical beasts like dragons and phoenixes, savoring their flesh as mere appetizers to accompany my beloved libations. -------------------------------- #Fans' Quotes (For volume 1): (1) “I think the novel is off to an excellent start. I especially enjoyed the beginning part, where he spoke with the 8 immortals. It's something different from what I'm used to reading, where the MC dies, reincarnates/transmigrates into a new world. However, the process of attempting to reincarnate in the underworld, in my opinion, felt like it could have been sped up a bit. Ultimately, an interesting start so far hopes you keep releasing more.” From Alex_V_7892 (2) "Pleaseeeeeeee next chapter! And if anyone knows some more novels that are like this with a drunk OP main character tell me the name!!!" Duel [4] & Red Dragon!

"Lin Donghai, that's just the strength of five elephants. At the moment I have more strength than 225 elephants." Patriarch Lin Ren announced proudly and then he taunted him, saying: "Are you afraid now? If you are, then stay inside the Lin Manor and hide behind your mama's skirt."

"Humph! As if I'm." Little Donghai Lin responded with a snort and then he omitted in his head, 'Old fool as if your taunt will work on me. You are only in level 9 of the Golden Realm while I have even beaten and killed gods.'

"That's more like it. Then what are you waiting for? Don't you say that you're going to kick my arse?" Patriarch Lin Ren said, bellowing at the top of his lunge.

"Huh, kick your arse!? Didn't I do it before?" On hearing that, Donghai Lin muttered under his breath, wondering whether to laugh or cry.

He then shook his head and whispered the third Divine word, "Tapasvi!"

The Divine word Tapasvi in his body radiated a beam of white dazzling light spreading across his body.

Then Donghai Lin felt this insurmountable strength in his body and he took a step forward, making even the air vibrate from the traces of energy expelled out from his sweet pores.

Seeing the thin transparent layer of energy covering little Donghai Lin's body, Patriarch Lin Ren said inwardly in his head, 'That strength is the same as someone who is about to break through into the boundary of Nascent Soul Realm. Good! So you've got this much amount of strength in you. Weird! Even though he began cultivating from his mother's womb, reaching that level of strength is truly unimaginable. Whatever. This means I no longer have to hold back anymore.'

Patriarch Lin Ren made a warcry and dashed toward little Donghai Lin who was wobbling toward him.

In a few seconds, the two reached and punched each other. Their fists made in the air.

Boom!

Both of them were propelled backward and a loud energy explosion happened at the point of contact of their fists.

In the aftermath of the energy explosion, a gigantic pound was dug at the center of the Brobdingnagian arena hall.

However, neither of them cared as they dashed toward one another and started a melee fight, exchanging punches and kicks. And now multiple pounds were dug and debris of dust and dirt filled the air. Still, the two engaged.

After realizing that both of their strengths were up to par with each other, they began to rely on martial skills to gain the momentum of the fight.

"Tai-Chi palm strike!" The Old Patriarch Lin yelled and began to strike at the little fella.

Whereas Donghai Lin used the swaying technique and retreated a few steps back but just as the Old Patriarch thought that he was in control of the fight, Donghai Lin's tactics abruptly changed as he lifted his right leg and used the quick movement technique of the Cripple Li Immortal.

Took a spin and gave a nice helicopter kick at the Old man's chest.

Bang!

After a loud bang, the Old man was sent flying in the air and landed on the thick concrete wall in the Gigantic Arena's bay. Now he was buried deep in the wall.

Little Donghai Lin sauntered forward, approached him, and said, "Grandpa, it's my win." Then he reached into his pocket and pulled out two candy sticks and further added, "Mind eating one?"

"Dong Er, I can't move a muscle. Help me."Grandpa Lin Ren said as he eyed the candy.

"Okay," Donghai Lin then put one candy into his mouth.

And he put the other one into his mouth.

"Dong Er, what I mean is get me out of this wall?" Patriarch Lin Ren corrected, rephrasing his words.

"Oh, my bad. How thoughtless of me?" Little Donghai Lin said as he hit lightly on his head. Then he punched at the wall instead of pulling out his grandpa. "Go away, wall. You're in my grandpa's way."

Bang!

With a loud bang, the thick concrete wall collapsed into dirt and stones.

Suddenly, from deep within the huge dune of dirt, a hand stuck out, and Old Patriarch Lin, now covered with black and gray dirt, coughed, "Ahoo-ahoo-ahoo!" There was still the candy in his mouth. "Dong Er, you have overdone it. I just mean you to take me out of the wall… Hmm,"

He then sighed and cleaned all the specks of dirt in a matter of seconds as he released his Qi. "Anyway this is the best candy I have ever had. Thanks."

"Well, Grandpa, you need to learn a lot if you wish to have another spar with me." Donghai Lin said casually.

The Old Patriarch Lin pondered for a while and then he opened his mouth, saying: "I admit that I utterly lost in this match without a doubt. So, as we agreed you can leave the Lin Family. But I need you to stay for a week, convince your parents and stay with your siblings. Alright, I'm tired for today. So I'll recline for today." He then tossed a silver-white ring at the Little guy and walked out of the arena.

"Oh, a space ring!" Donghai Lin said and put it on his right hand's thumb finger and also stormed out of that arena.

Just after he was long gone from the Brobdingnagian arena, two figures materialized while floating in the air just above the center of the arena. One was a youth who seemed to be in his early 20s whereas the other one was a middle-aged-looking lanky man wearing a purple Daoist robe. There was a tiny tattoo of a red dragon on his forehead.

The youth was none other than Lin Han, Donghai Lin's father.

"Master Long, what did you think about my second son, Dong Er?" Lin Han asked.

"Good." Master Long responded, "No, he is way better than I previously imagined. And I'm a bit lost here too. For some reason, I feel that he has not even started cultivating Qi from the surroundings. Yet, he has the power of a Level 9 of the Golden Core Realm. My best guess is that your boy practices a High Tier Sky Grade Body Cultivation technique."

"Then who do you think is better? Dong Er or my first son, Yi Er?" Lin Han asked curiously.

Master Long didn't respond immediately. As he pondered deeply for a couple of two minutes, he responded, "Stronger? That's an ambiguous term. No one will know until they have a match which I wish to never happen as they are siblings after all. But, judging by their aptitude, Dong Er is far more superior to his older brother because he is just eight and already able to defeat your father who is famed for his wonderful Tai-Chi palm technique."

Then he further added, "And speaking of the technique, Dong Er's strange martial technique that he used to outwit your father's Invincible Tai-Chi. Even I don't believe that I can win against Dong Er if we are to fight at the same level of cultivation. That's how good his martial aptitude is."

After pausing for a few seconds, Master Long continued, "Also, about your first son Yi Er, even though he is not physically strong like his brother per se, his aptitude for Qi cultivation is legendary and we don't have to forget about his Heavenly Dual Pupil Eyes. For all I know, when he gets mature it would take just a glance from him to slay his enemies. So, Han Er, your sons are both geniuses that are born one in a million years and I believe your Lin Family can finally return to your ancestral ground when these two brothers grow up. And I only hope that they don't become enemies."

Hearing his master praising his sons, Lin Han was overwhelmed with joy and he said, beaming from ear to ear: "Eh, master don't you use the word like ENEMY. For all I know, they are blood brothers. And even if the whole universe turns against them, they will stand and look out for each other."

Then he further added, bellowing at the top of his lunge: "Because they are my, Lin Han's sons. And I guided my firstborn to be kind to his sibling since his birth. In addition, Dong Er, hee-hee-hee, haven't you seen enough how he pampered his twin little sisters. So, master, I give you my word. There is no way my sons were going to turn against each other."

Master Long nodded his head and he asked while giving a meaningful look as if it was meant to test his disciple, "But, Han Er, are you okay with Dong Er's plan for leaving Lin Manor? Should I follow him or send someone secretly to protect him from any circumstances?"

"So thoughtful of you, Master Long. But nope. That won't be necessary." Lin Han denied his suggestion. Then he added with a grin on his face, " Master, I believe a dragon should be released when they are young instead of chaining with familial bonds and whatever circumstances if we want them to grow into an indomitable true monarch of the entire ten planes*."

Master Long repeated his lines and opined, "You're right. But, Han Er, are you intentionally saying this, or have you forgotten that I'm a genuine Flame Dragon?"

"Bahahaha! Master, do you really mean that? But no offense, I'm just stating the truth here." Lin Han responded while bursting into a peal of hysterical laughter.

"As if I care." Master Long said with a goofy smile and disappeared from within the thin air.

Lin Han also glanced down on the multiple pits over the ground and disappeared from within the thin air and only an eddy ripple of air remained in the spot he was standing before... (please, stay tuned!)
