I continued to support my people by helping to improve their way of life. I ordered for all the slaves to be sent to the marble queries my men found a while ago. I also prepared for extra ships to be built in case I need to start an invasion. the best place would be to attack would be tiranoc since they are also at war with morathi the first sorceress. The meeting with her would be interesting.

Time passed as three days went by fast. the two women were still thinking about how to pay me. I didn't care how long it took because it meant more peace and sex. I've fucked all the women in my army at least ten times and Im still wondering why they aren't pregnant.

We reached the southern beach of my territory has I ordered for spikes and traps were set to stop any incoming calvary. I spread my forces to force them to spread theirs to thin their numbers.

Three ships man of war full of soldiers came into view. My dark-shard soldiers readied their crossbows and aimed in their direction as ordered them to hold Keisha and the other 2 dread lords ready their weapons.

cannon fire was sent towards my way. I dodged to the side avoiding it but my soldiers weren't lucky getting burnt to a crisp. The ships landed on the beachhead. Empire soldiers rushed out of their ships getting formation as quickly as they can.

"dark shards fire down on those soldiers!" I yelled as I thrust forward into the enemy lines slaughter my way threw to the enemy general. spotting him garbed in platted armor and chainmail.

"Dark elf scum the empire has noticed your little army has our expedition been destroyed by your means now die I've been ordered to exterminate you pointy-eared scum from this land." general prim yelled as he ran towards Roman. Blocking his first sword thrust "the empire thinks they can spare soldiers easily and not suffer the repercussions they thought wrong" They clashed as more and more empires and dark elves soldiers died. Prim contained throwing swings I blocked them and kicked him away and started my offense. We lasted a couple of hours as the voices of yelling and flesh being cut apart died down has the empire suffered heavy losses and so did I but I didn't care because it'll be easy to replenish the losses.

I summoned the undead to take over the ships to block their retreat while fighting off the general. most of the empire troops' morale collapsed as they saw they couldn't win but caught has their escape was destroyed.

"how do you feel general invading unknown foreign land and dying not being able to see your family again." looking at the bloody defeated general of the empire as he struggles to move.

"Merc-" i cut him off, his head laying aside his body.

With the empire's failed invasion roman summons a skeleton horde and sent them towards the old world to distract the empire for the moment.

Back at the manor Roman was currently talking to the high elf princess.

"Princess have you decided on what to give me my patience these past few days have been running thin princess," I said since I want to complete the quest I've received to continue building my mercenary kingdom.

" Get ready your armor is the Amory stored one of my soldiers will lead you there then after meet me in my office." finishing what I've wanted say and left to ready a fleet against morathi and tiranoc. 'man I need a break from war'.
