1 Cabin in the woods

My name is Cecilia. i am 17 years old girl.

I belong to a respectful family and I am really lucky that I got adopted by a really rich and powerful family. My mom dies after giving birth to me. After some years, I got adopted .They love me very much. I am their one and only child. They always treat me like their own daughter. They fulfill my every wish.

I like staying alone most of the time and i like reading books. I spend my whole day reading and writing. My adoptive parents said they were close to my mother they were friends in their college years

I also love to spend time in the nature. That's why, i decided to spend my summer vocation outside of the city.

Cecilia: This place is so much beautiful and lovely and all I can see is the forest as far I can see... I can hear the birds singing their melodies and sound of wind blowing leaves, but the weather is cold and cloudy I can't see the sun here...

Josh: Well yeah, miss Cecilia. it's always like this... always rains and cloudy weather. Most of the days, we can't even see the sun but still, this place has its beauty...

Cecilia: Yeah..its spiritual..

Josh: it's lovely to see you here after so many years. When last time you came here.. you were such a little kid and now you have grown so much but still have to grow so much

I'm sure you will be a most pretty and beautiful lady miss Cecilia.

Cecilia: haha.... thank you so much, Josh, but I am not that much pretty, and yeah l was a little kid. I don't even remember much....

Josh: I... I don't want to sound rude but why are you spending your vocation in a place like this... I mean most of the people of your age.. like to go out with their friends and having fun.... but here you are alone in an old cabin in a forest?

Cecilia: Josh, I like, no. I love nature so much and I like to spend time alone reading and writing... and it's refreshing. I want to spend my vacation somewhere far away from city life... well I like city life but still... I want some time alone for myself. I want to feel it all. Well, hope you understand... I am not good at expressing my thoughts.

Josh: miss Cecilia, I'm sure you will enjoy your stay here.

Cecilia: yeah I'm sure

and please just call me Cecilia

(Narrator)

suddenly our car stopped in front of a beautiful luxurious cabin...

Josh: well here we are

Cecilia: it's so beautiful I don't even remember that, how much gorgeous is this place.

I heard the sound of opening the door of the car.

It was Josh getting out of the car and opening my door for me.

Josh: Miss Cecilia

I looked at him and smile

Cecilia: just Cecilia

I get up from the car and looked around. It's so cloudy like rain can start now any second... dark clouds covering the whole blue sky...Sun hiding behind the clouds and only a few rays can be seen.

I can feel the refreshing cold breeze on my skin and the sound of the leaves so lovely...

They had come!

I see the little girl shouting from the cabin door

After seeing me, she rushed to meet me.

Sara: hi, my name is Sara!!

did you come from a big city?

Cecilia: umm... well

She was a little energetic girl. i think 7 years old.

she keeps talking and won't let me speak

Sara: Aunty said, you are the owner's daughter.. is this true??

You are beautiful and I like beautiful girls!!

she giggles.

i heard another voice. This voice belonged to the old women. Maybe in her 50s.

oh, Sara let her come inside and stop questioning her.. she must be tired...

she pouts and runs inside

Cecilia: well she was cute

i said with a smile

yes, she is such a sweet kid and I'm sorry for her behavior.

Cecilia: No! you don't have to... I like her. She is sweet.

Samantha: well, dear, my name is Samantha. I am the head of all the workers here.

and I think you don't remember me it's been a while since we met.

Cecilia: umm. I don't remember much but I still do remember some things... you looked familiar.

Samantha: well, come inside dear.

Samantha looked at me and smiled. She points her hand for me to enter.

I looked at Josh he was getting my things out of the car.

He gave me a smile and nodded.

I want inside and there was a grand hall. On the left side there was stairs connected to the upper portion and on the right side ,there was luxurious red sofa set. Whole hall was decorated by the old and expensive looking stuff.

Cecilia: its all Gorgeous and fascinating..

Samantha: yes of course and the rooms even more.

Everyone will be in the dining area. please follow me

I keep looking around me. Everything I saw every little thing was decorated beautifully..

Cecilia: umm...

Samantha: Do you want to say something dear?

Cecilia: actually...

I was thinking...

um.. nothing sorry, never mind

Samantha: Here is the dining room... everyone will be here for lunch. you came at a good moment. Now, you will be able to meet everyone at the same time.

Aunty Samantha, can you tell me where to put these plates?

This beautiful voice was followed by a beautiful girl. She was so white. She was wearing stylish clothes with red high heels. Even her hair was red and her eyes giving red shade. She looks like a model . Maybe she was in her 20s.

Samantha: Aliza, meet her. she is Cecilia Arnold.

Cecilia: H..hi

She was so much beautiful that anyone can fell for her.

Aliza: Oh hi sorry, I didn't see you.

it's so lovely to finally meet you. Aunty Samantha told me about you.

Cecilia: I hope it won't be embarrassing...

she smiles at me and starts setting plates on the table.

Samantha: oh dear, you were such a lovely kid and there are only good things to say about you.

I looked at the dining table and saw Sara sitting there. playing with her plate.

Josh walk in the dining area.

Josh: Ladies, if u have done talking can we eat now and i am really hungry. I can eat anything right now and Miss cecilia, your belongings are in your room.

Samantha: Let's eat, everyone..

Everyone, please sit down.

I sit beside Sara. she looked at me and gave me a big smile and return to play with her plates. On the other side of me, there was an empty chair and in front of me, Samantha and Josh took their seats.

Aliza: Here taste this.

Aliza was serving to everyone..

Cecilia: .it's so yummy!

Aliza: Did you hear her? Samantha, I can make delicious meals.

Aliza said with a big happy smile on her face.

Samantha: Of course dear you are a good chief.

Aliza: thank u thank u

Then a young boy enters the dining area.

He had black hair and he was wearing black clothes. His body is slender. He looked handsome and pretty good. He was reading a book while walking.

Samantha: You are a late young man.

Without answering, he sits on the empty chair beside me.

Cecilia, he is Simon. well, he is always like this.

Samantha: Simon, meet our owner's daughter Cecilia. She will be staying with us. she is such a lovely girl and I want you to be good and welcoming to her.

Cecilia: umm..hi

He looked at me. it's the first time he even notices me.

He keeps looking at me for a few seconds. Even his eyes are pitch black. His eyes so bright and shining and there is darkness in his eyes. The beautiful shining darkness in his eyes.

Man in black. I giggle.

There was no expressions on his face.

Hey, Simon gives her a break. you will scare her if you keep looking at her like this.

Simon returns his gaze towards the book he brought with him and he got busy with his book.

i never liked a boy in my whole life and I don't even know if I like him, but I'm sure I am interested in him. He got my attention. I never looked at any guy, but he is something else. He is mysterious. A mystery, which I have to solve.
