Lord Cooper's Speculation

Suddenly the room became heavy with Lord Cooper's words. The Caben family had a child after two hundred years. The previous newborn baby in the family before this child was the boy's father, Archer Caben, whose age crossed 210 years. Five Celestial races preferred kids with strong prospects. So only when they cultivated over three systems, parents carefully consider getting children. The shortcoming to this tradition was that the chance of owning an offspring worsens as cultivation increased. Both Archer and Ellen possess seven systems and now they were at 7th essence conversion design. Therefore, they both thought they were already lucky enough for them to have a child, so they were very pleased and did not care for the child's forte.

The child has prospects that no one can match. However, his fate is uncertain after 10 years. This all came as a thorn in a heart to Ellen and Archer.

They can tell that the child is healthy and has an excellent aptitude for cultivation, so it became difficult for them to pinpoint what exactly will harm the child.

Ellen believed it might occur because of their enemies and seriously said, "Our only enemies are devils. I will annihilate them if they try to harm my son."

Everyone remembered her title 'Tigress' when Ellen said so. Ellen joined the Alliance to became a soldier at the very young age and fought with many devils. Her graceful demeanour was only for her loved ones. If she considered someone as her enemy, she would kill them without mercy.

Archer said, "My son will stay inside the clan until he reaches sufficient strength, no one can hinder his progress when he remains in Caben Clan. Devils never attacked us before, but we should increase our guards."

Seeing the aggressive reaction of mother and father duo, Cooper smiled and said,

"I experienced many remarkable events throughout my life. Ancient wastelands and cured lands have many unfathomable things and beyond my reach. However, your son is unique among everyone I had seen so far.

His fate is only one of many mysteries surrounding the boy. There are many other peculiarities related to his birth. No seventh path cultivator had previously given birth to a child, but Ellen became pregnant and gave birth to such a miraculous child. His extraordinary sensitivity towards divine essence and oneness with divine energy is a miracle. The boy is so young, yet his aura is much holier than anyone else here."

Archer asked, "Lord Cooper, could it be he was cursed because of his wonderful talents?"

"Beyond a certain period, heavens shrouded his fate in a mist. So, I am uncertain about his future. However, we do not have to consider it as something terrible. There are few things in this world that I am clueless about but it just so happens there are three such things in your Celestial Divine Province; the Star tree in the Holy City, your grandfather White, and lastly it is your son," replied Cooper.

Cooper's explanation brought some relief to Archer and Lee. But Ellen and Mei were not fully convinced by his words. They both thought of guarding the child in the clan as the best way to avoid any unnecessary trouble.

Meanwhile, Lord White pondered over Cooper's words. He hesitated for some time whether he should ask. Seeing everyone talking about different other things, he decided against it and said, "Archer, invite all clans in the Province and Silver Jade country to celebrate the birth of the new heir of our family. It will be on the same day of next month."

He then added, "Select a suitable name for the child which must epitomize his future achievements."

"Ellen and I already selected the name. Since the child is a boy, Bright will be his name. Like the Sun, he will illuminate the world when Devils come in next battle," said Archer.

"Bright! Wow, it matches his radiance. Girls will surround my nephew like bees circling flowers," cheerfully responded Mei.

Lee saw his wife and was in disbelief because of what had just happened. She would first contradict with others and then she would suggest thing new. Her conduct also changed; she is exhibiting a peaceful vibe different from usual self. Dazed by her new charm, he said, "Mei, there is something different about you today."

She replied, "All the unrest in my heart has gone when I entered the room earlier. Because of constant battle with devils, peace became a distant matter to me and my celestial aura declined over time, but now I could feel my natural self once more. Such a brilliant boy, his accomplishments in the future will surpass all previous generations."

Lord White had no objection with the name of the boy,

Meanwhile, Lord Cooper noticed that after naming the child, it became much more difficult to divine about the child. His third eye started aching as he tried to comprehend changes that had just transpired in the boy. He had to stop eventually as the pain became unbearable. This recent development raised doubts in his previous speculations. His intuition, however, was telling him that all of this is for the better.

To the east of the central hall is the personal courtyard of Lord White. There was a small pond in the middle which is full of White Lotuses. Banyan tree branches were covering a part of the pond. Lord Cooper and Lord White both sat under the Banyan tree while facing the pond. They were giving off an ethereal persona as Lotuses mystified their aura.

A maid who was serving tea to them momentarily felt as if she is no longer in this mortal world. However, she immediately regained her wits and continued her work. This is a common story with all mortals who remain close to celestials.

Lord White while drinking tea was ruminating about Cooper's helplessness to prophesize about him. In the last thousand years, they had met many times and raided many Devil camps together. But it is the first time Cooper is clueless about him. Though Cooper is younger and was once a junior to him, their cultivation is same now. Lord White also knew that he has now become very old and he is not in his prime.

According to Cooper's speculation, his strength must have improved, but he knew that it is not the case. Now, his Great Grandchild Bright who is just a child has shown signs which normal children should not have.

He asked maids to leave the courtyard, before sharing his thoughts with Cooper.

Lord Cooper carefully considered all conjunctures transpired so far and fell into deep thought.

He said, "This issue is beyond my means now. Earlier, when the child was named Bright, it became even more obscure for me to see through the boy. However, my intuition is saying this era will change because of your Caben clan and I could only say there is nothing ominous in all about this."

"Boy, has huge karma with you. Since I can't see your karma and can only see a little about him, this is all I managed to fathom about you and him. Maybe you can help the boy when the time comes."

Lord White was slightly relieved hearing Lord Cooper's thoughts. He is now close to the truth and has a clue of what it might be, but he decided against divulging anything about it.

Three hundred years ago he found a damaged Necklace, which was profound and complicated Celestial Design he had ever seen, he studied it for many decades and understood many things from it. Later, his son Rony Caben and others searched for many supreme artefacts to restore the Celestial Design of the Necklace. He was confident in restoring the Necklace with all the artefacts and treasures in their hand, alas while restoring he learned some new things from it and realized that price, they had pay for restoring was not so simple. So, they stopped at the last step. At that time little drops of Golden serum oozed out from the Necklace.
