Inviting Him Over

"Hood up and let's get out of here," muttered the Dragoon before releasing the shocked Loplin.

Layla then released her Dragonic wings, which shocked the bunny man. He had heard tales of the Dragoons having wings but he didn't expect a small lady to have wings a size larger than his height.

And with better clarity, Matt could see the flickering blue Elemental Aura of her purple wings, and scales looking like the most beautiful thing he had ever seen.

"Are you scared of heights?"

"What?!"

Layla merely swooped down and grabbed the poor bunny man by the waist before taking flight, heading back to the Tavern. What was only a Tock felt like an eternity for the poor Matt who hated being picked up like that, much less by a girl!

"I'm supposed to be the one holding girls like that…" grumbled Matt as Layla placed him in the back alley of the Tavern.

"What was that?" asked Layla as she landed back on her feet and kept her wings.

Matt shook his head while Layla opened the back door and revealed a set of stairs leading to an abyss. She then pulled a lever, lighting up the abyss with shining Water orbs.

"Are you sure you ain't kidnapping me?" asked the Loplin in trepidation.

"If I did, what could I use you for? It'll just be another mouth to feed," stated Layla as she descended the staircase.

"I heard that Dragoons keep us Loplins as pets…"

"In which century?!"

Matt took in a deep breath and sighed before following Layla into the basement. Thank goodness the staircase wasn't too long as they came across a small cave that looked like the living room of a cottage.

A small part of the room was a makeshift kitchen while the fireplace had a large black cauldron.

"You dug this out?" asked Matt, impressed with how large the area was.

"Have you forgotten that I'm half  Dragon as well?" asked Layla as she took off her apron to reveal her full black dress that showed her ample cleavage, much to the blushing mess of the Loplin.

Matt instantly turned away and set his eyes on the room's decor which seemed simple. A bit too simple.

"You can wait at the table since I don't exactly have anywhere I can place you. I'm gonna go take a shower unless you're interested to join…" smirked Layla, cheekily.

Mattheos the Alpha-ranked Loplin was now red as a beet as he scolded Layla for being so cheeky and outright flirty.

"Sorry, you're just too easy to tease. I'll be back in 10 Tocks, so try not to destroy anything when I'm gone," laughed Layla as she left for another room.

"Tch… What the hell does she think I am…" grumbled Matt as he sat down at the table.

The male scanned the room, it looked like an average cottage with a bookshelf, dining room set, and a rocking chair. The walls were adorned with nothing but two red and blue pairs of Dragon wings.

They looked bigger than Layla's but felt… Dead.

"Are you having fun looking at my dead parents?" chimed Layla, knocking Matt out of his thoughts.

"No! I'm just… Looking… Is that how Dragoons honor their dead relatives? By hanging them on the wall? That's kinda…"

Poor Matt had failed to see that Layla was in nothing but wrapped up in a fluffy purple towel while her hair was wrapped in a smaller towel that sat on her head. The Loplin could feel the blood rushing into his cheeks.

"Hm? Yeah I guess it's kinda morbid but I don't think you're here to talk about them… So tell me what you know of Tiamat and why you need help from the Dragoons," said Layla as she sat down opposite the blushing mess of Matt.

"Could you please put on some clothes first?!" shouted Matt, at the top of his lungs.

Layla blinked a few times before erupting with laughter and dropping her towel, much to the horror of the bunny man.

"It's not that funny... I don't get why you are having so much fun with this... I swear my heart is going to hang itself with what you are putting me through…" complained the Loplin while refusing to look at Layla.

"I'm surprised you don't know that I can manipulate my scales to become my clothes…" said Layla, getting closer to poor Mattheos.

"Go away… You're stirring things up in me that I don't like…"

"I'm covered, you numbskull."

Matt slowly opened his eyes to see that Layla was telling the truth as her purple scales had formed a corset short dress that covered the necessary parts. The bunny let out a sigh of relief as Layla went back to her seat.
