Cave Of Mordaho

"We are, but we're traveling in style and I don't fancy going through that rubbish dump," explained the Felidae as he opened a large steel door.

The room wasn't a room at all, it looked like a station but within the underground. The train was more of a minecart with 4 carts and it looked unsteady.

"We're lucky that the caves are only nearby… These things can't make long distances," said Teemo as everyone hopped in.

"Why can't we do it by foot or air?" asked the Loplin.

"I hate the place outside and I bet Layla's wings aren't mature enough to hold both of us. Anyways, let's go!" exclaimed the Felidae as she started the ride.

The journey was quick and boring, with the walls being nothing but torches and dirt. The trio had to climb out of a hole to get to the surface.

"Remind me to go by foot… I hate that thing," complained the Loplin as the trio stood before the gaping mouth of Mordaho.

"I have never seen a cave that big before… And it's brimming with different Elemental Ores from the first level alone, how deep do we need to go?" questioned Layla as they walked in.

The sun had barely risen so no one was around, allowing the group to roam around without any distractions freely.

The place was illuminated with Light Elemental Ores while the smooth surfaces of certain raw crystals reflected light off, creating a beautiful effect everywhere. Matt approached a giant rock that was shining blue.

With a murmur, the Loplin closed his eyes and placed his hand onto the rock.

"What's he doing?" asked Layla as she poked Teemo.

"Watch and you'll understand why I need his help. We Felidaes don't do well with the cold so what do we do? We bring along someone who can bring the heat up," explained Teemo as he looped a hand over the girl's shoulder.

Suddenly, the Loplin's hand burst into flames, spreading across the large rock. Matt then gently knocked on it, causing the entire thing to fall apart in flames.

"If the Water Elemental Ores can't withstand Matt's heat, then it isn't worth our salt. That's why he is the best person to help us gather those ores," said Teemo as a bunch of sapphire blue stones fell from the rock.

The duo approached Matt while he rested on another rock to rest. The Felidae gingerly picked up the Water Elemental Ores to inspect it. The little Dragoon had fun stuffing some into her pockets.

"These are still too low of a grade. Let's head downwards," commanded Teemo as he tossed away the blue rocks.

"Alright. Would you like me to increase my flame power?" asked the Loplin as they proceeded to a staircase.

"Yes, we need Grade 8 Ores so it has to withstand stronger flames," answered Teemo as Layla ran towards them.

The pre-established staircase was made out of rocks and clay, hollowed out by the adventurers who frequent the area. The walls had different light sources, ranging from Fire to Light Ores.

"This cave's lowest level is 6 so far so we are heading to it. However, I highly doubt that we can find what we need on that level and these few floors have been over-mined," explained the armored cat.

"Then what do you plan to do? Travel to another cave?" asked the Loplin.

"Wait, just because the discovered floors have been mined out doesn't mean this place can't expand any further, right?" asked Layla as they reached the 6th floor.

"Clever girl," praised Teemo when Matt approached another rock.

"No way you're going to get me to blow up another cave again. That's how I met one of the Shadow Trio and I don't intend to fight her today," complained the Loplin as he pumped his flames to destroy the large rock.

The Water Elemental Ores that fell out were more spherical with a bluer color and a slight tinge of aquamarine.

"I'm not going to ask you to waste your Elemental Energy like that since I need you to clear out an entire floor later. Thus, I plan to use my explosives though I don't know if it would work on the rocks here," said Teemo, rummaging through his sack.

"Hey, hey, hey… Since when am I supposed to clear out an entire cave floor?!" exclaimed a worried bunny.

"Don't worry, Matt… You'll do fine," comforted the Dragoon as she stretched her arm to pat him on the shoulder.

"Doing fine is no issue… it's how tired I would be afterward. Honestly, who does he think he's bossing around…" grumbled Matt as he moved forward.

The girl remained still for a while before she realized something and rushed towards the Felidae to grab his arm.
