A Dragfilla

A glint of light reflected out of the darkness as the figure stepped forward, revealing itself to be a humanoid creature with black horns as if they were from the devil. It had long, flowing black hair with a mortician's wear, coupled with a large overcoat.

Its skin was pale like snow with hands looking like Layla's talons but in an ebony shade instead. With a turn of its head, the creature appeared to be male and had light purple eyes with dark red eye rings around his pupils.

But the kicker was his weapon; an oversized scythe that looked very similar to Layla's but was fully black.

"How? Since when can a Dragoon be dwelling over here? I've been into this cave for so many times and yet I've never once seen you…" said Teemo, widening his eyes.

"I've only heard stories of those kinds of Dragoons… But I never thought I would see such a being before me…" murmured Layla as she lowered her scythe.

"I thought he was just another Dragoon? Yeah, he looks like someone straight from the graveyard but still… He looks like a Dragoon," stated the Loplin as he glanced at Layla.

"The rest of the Kingdoms don't know about his kind because our Royal Guard had gone through the extra effort to exterminate them… The Dragfilla, otherwise known as the Rejected Kind of Valokia."

"The Dragoons that were the opposites of the Dragoons like me, they've been labeled as the dangerous ones as they've been known to be very destructive," said the Dragoon as she felt fear engulf her being.

"Even my parents' powers combined could not light a candle next to a single one of them, let alone me right now…"

Matt instantly stepped in front of Layla to shield the girl from the enemy. The girl started breathing heavily as she forced her eyes to close, not wanting to see the being before them. The Loplin loaded up his gun while Teemo raised his sword to point at the opponent before them.

"My… my… The newer generation truly doesn't know how to respect the elders… I haven't done anything to hurt you three and yet you've drawn your weapons," said the Dragfilla, as he stepped forward.

His voice sounded like a cackling witch, which made the Loplin shiver in disgust.

"We drew ours because you've got that oversized scythe and you've scared our little Dragoon here," scolded Matt, gesturing to Layla to fall back.

However, the girl had other plans as she pushed past Matt and joined Teemo on the frontlines.

"How can you still be alive?! We've outright annihilated you during the riots! No one should've survived that bomb blast! And even if so, the Royal Guard has sent out forces to quell those who've survived."

"And the one who led the forces was my twin…" said Layla as she clenched her fists tightly on her weapon.

"Ah… So that was all the commotion, I thought it was some traveling circus. Anyway, I've been dwelling here though I did have to clear out some folks here who wanted me to go away. Ever since then, I stopped having visitors."

"Not many people venture here, y'know…" replied the Dragfilla, smiling as he played with his silver hair.

Without warning, the male vanished from his spot and appeared behind Layla, surprising both Teemo and Matt. The two barely had a chance to react before both Layla and the enemy clashed blades.

The act caused a huge shockwave of power, forcing both Loplin and Felidae to back away from the fight. Layla knew she was at a disadvantage as she still didn't have proper defense and this opponent was much faster than Teemo.

The Dragfilla raised his scythe high, in a position to make Layla move but he quickly changed minds and lifted his left leg to kick her instead. The girl cursed as she was too slow to deflect it, causing her to fly towards a wall.

The enemy didn't allow the girl to rest as he appeared before her, ready to attack without even allowing her to reach the wall. Layla squeezed her eyes shut as she forced her body upright to grab the Dragfilla's shoulder, making him miss the swing on her.

Layla then gripped harder and allowed her talons to come out. With one push and a flip, the girl managed to smash the male into the rocks below.

"Not bad… But not enough!" shouted the male as he leaped out of the dirt to clash with Layla.

"I've had enough! Who the hell are you and how did you manage to escape the Royal Guard?!" yelled Layla as she contorted her body to slam her scythe onto the enemy's neck.

But the Dragfilla smiled and swiftly dodged, causing the girl to miss and twist her body too far.
