Life would from then on comprise of backbreaking training like this for me and my pokemons. But we had to do it because I would rather go through go a back-breaking day and survive than have my back broken because I didn't

But the training part is something unavoidable, hell it's in the damn title 'trainer' so I just did it and like most shut-ins who did this, I found myself a little lethargic and largely filled with aching pains, some of which were noticed by the most of my classmates and teachers

Though they were surprisingly understanding once they knew why I was so tired, the P.E. teacher even said he'll draw me up a training plan that would fit me instead of whatever I was doing though his mutters of training plans were a little too... rigorous? Yes, rigorous for me

However they did ensure that I knew that this allowance was only since I wasn't that bad at class and most importantly out of the belief that my grades wouldn't slip because of this

Which I agree with because I still want that damn starter

Between all that was when I told my somewhat thought-out plan to make money to Psy and it started with showing him the designs and diagrams of some things that people would have been able to instantly identify

The thing is I was an okay illustrator back home and tried my hand at some content creation, which didn't even take off so that it could crash and burn, and after some kinks physically I can do artistic things as I used to before and I had some knowledge of coding as well

And amazingly I, Eric Walker had a smooth voice and we all know that pokenet is a thing and that there are idols as well

' I would have said good looking as well, but I'm only ten and don't know how I will develop in the future, thus I consider myself not ugly at present and leave it at that '

Now a person might think that by the above-mentioned details that I would be trying to create a company or even a band or become an idol.

I'm not, I intend to do things in a way that will ensure that no large waves are created thus ensuring my safety in my anonymity. Oh, I intend to get rich enough for rainy days and more but to go beyond that is inviting trouble at this point

The technology of this world is wonky and some of the things I remember how to design or how it works will allow me to have some weight if I reveal it.

Now imagine for a bit that I threw this figurative weight around, immediately I will be pressed to the ground. The competition in the industry is insane!! We only hear Silph. co and Devon corporation because they dominate the field, there are so many companies snapping at their heel and testing the waters

If I even try to step in this water, those snapping at the titan's heel will turn to devour me and then go after the titan's heel again, If by some miraculous chance, I survive these companies, then I proved that my figurative weight isn't that figurative anymore

Titans will look down on me and test me or starve me, the leeches will appear and so will the sharks and the shadowed gazes in the region for some quick change

The same will appear if I try my hand at being an idol ' No matter how bad I'm at it ' because once enough money starts rolling in, problems rise and this time my one defence will be my weight as an idol instead of being a company founder, which would already be under attack due my age and all that

So no to creating super companies or being a famous idol, instead we will settle for that small but useful company and that artist who's not that big but not really small

So what I showed wasn't some diagrams of high-level technology, instead, I showed him some simple day-to-day items that people would need, diagrams that I planned to send to the league for patent

These diagrams included 3 devices which were a trimmer, Speakers, Airpods and a few toys like a fidget spinner, ludo board, Rc cars and a Rubix cube

Psy was for once speechless, whether due to my plans and cautions, heaven knows

But he greenlit my diagrams so I called good old Ramsey to inquire about doing it, after convincing him that I wasn't joking he sent me the site link where I could do it, though not before sending Dianna after me

Bubbly person she was and she might even genuinely care for me, still didn't show her anything beyond the toys and Speaker though

' So I'm a little paranoid, sue me! No, that's the wrong choice, just forget what I said '

After basking in her cooing ' Which I'll admit isn't that bad ' I sent my details and design for patent registration and trademark. I was immediately given notice that they would need to scour their database to verify my claim, which at least would take a month at minimum

I thought they would make a fuss about my age, maybe they might when it's not a program reading my mail but till then I am unburdened. Even though they still can't say shit because of notable people like Bill and Sabrina to claim a few

After that was done, I created another account on the pokenet from the same credentials but ensured that I was verified as an artist and basically, I identified as another person to people not that observative

And then I started to work on the video I was going to drop, Since I'm not creative enough at songwriting I naturally had to borrow some songs ' I'm still adding their name as a title though, I'll try my best to make it work '

I decided to make animations because and when I say animations, I meant very low-level animations by comparison

Anyway I was dropping the song Bird by Imagine Dragons, which I imagine that I can pull off and add some of my flair to the mix though that is certainly slow work because the PC isn't that better and even if it was, I'm not that good

So when I took a break from creating animations, I started coding Flappybird and Pac-Man. I want to try my hand at developing a version of an offline map, offline because we need satellites for an online map and there is a very territorial dragon up in the sky

Though that's a long-term project, while the games will be ready within a month, short enough that it will help roll some money to my side so that I can upgrade my setup

' Though everything depends on the projects being as successful as they were in the previous world, though I don't see that many reasons as to why it wouldn't '

Doing all of this combined with the new training plan, given to me by the P.E Teacher Derek whose sole response to my physical capabilities was a disappointing frown, was a tiring spectacle. Thus this monotony of us was only broken on the day before we went to receive our new housemate

' Which everyone is kind of interested in, even if only for the sole need for another to suffer '

So that morning we were refreshed and feeling ready to act as we needed, well that was more me and Psy than the Abras

Speaking of Psy, everyone was looking forward to seeing Psy fighting for real instead of just showing off his skill. I think he found it kind of amusing

So we left early all of us just being beamed in by Psy, though I ensured that I had taken everything I wanted. Which was just the berries we could afford to lose, photos of every criminal organisation I remember and most importantly the photos of Pokemon who I wanted them to bring in if possible

This time we weren't the first there though, I'm sure I wouldn't have noticed if not for Psy greeting the pack, which I immediately followed

" Good morning, Emberback. Good Morning Brightburn"

After receiving nods in return, I looked to the little pup by their side and the growlithe matched my gaze with a head tilt that has to be practised

Still not breaking my gaze I took an effort to slowly whisper out to Psy to see what gender it was, though by the twitches on all three of their ears they heard me, So I broke the ice after a nervous laugh

" Sorry, I didn't want to mess up our first meetings because I said the wrong thing "

" The pup is a female, she is talented but has not earned her name yet. She expressed her interest in travelling with a trainer " Emberback spoke and Psy translated

I immediately knelt and spoke

" Well thanks for choosing me my fair lady, I promise I won't do you wrong "

Brightburn lets out a bark that Psy let me know meant " Or you'll die "

but hey, he's being protective and we can't blame that, especially since the lady is fine with me

But when I watch her enthusiasm I don't care one bit, though I think I need to find time within my day to groom her properly, I mean her fur is unquestionably soft and it will be a shame if it wasn't properly looked after

So we introduced ourselves to the pup and I let the lady with abra duo continue to talk till the Flock arrived. Which wasn't that silent but I guess they don't want to spook us

' Yeah, that makes sense '

I greeted the Flock leader Whirlwind, Stonebeak and Widewings before I started speaking about the dangers they would face, So I started speaking, having the attention of every Pokemon except Psy, because he and I had already talked about it, though even he was surprised by the amount of information I had, to the point he outright asked me where I found it, but I showed him some old links, trainer testimonies and some sketchy sites and told him that this information was highly restricted but some flow out sometimes

' Though there is a limit to the supposed flow I'm supposed to get. I know I shouldn't raise flags but I genuinely hope that I won't have to pull that excuse again '

I started close to home and held up the team rocket logo and the drawn versions of executives like Archer, Pretel, Ariana and Proton. At least the way I remembered it

" These are the known executives of Team Rocket. The woman is Ariana and her main Pokemon seen have been Gloom and Murkrow which I have no doubt isn't her real team. In fact, don't think about the Pokemon they are going to use, I assure you each of their main Pokemon is gonna be a monster. The bad thing is that most of them specialize in disguise as well, so you may not even see them like the ones I'm showing you "

Then I held up the rocket logo " But this symbol won't change, they can't change it because it's their own form of allegiance, so you can keep an eye out for that. As for what they want, they simply want to rule the world. There's no grand purpose or anything like that, they just want it "

" That's mildly terrifying "

" It's terrifying in general "

The briefing session continued just like that, me listing each one's ambition though I think Team Galactic, Team Aqua and Team Magma hit them the hardest

But after that, I showed them the pictures of Audino and asked them to include this Pokemon in their search as well. They didn't mind that much so that's done I guess. After that I watched Psy spar with some of the flock and teach others, they didn't learn the move completely but that is only natural

After that, we went home with a new lady and things would then continue on to a cycle of training with visits by Mr. James, Dianna and Ramsey coalesced within these periods

Just a week in and I had already completed and published the games and was working on animating now, all the while training with the others and it would only be after five more weeks that the league would approve of my patents and trademarks, the three device's design and fidget spinner, ludo and Rubix cube was mine legally but RC cars was unsurprisingly not just my brainchild in the world

' I forgot the drone thing in the movies '

But after the patents were done, I got a few emails from companies that were interested in doing deals with me, which I didn't mind because I didn't have the capital or goal to do this myself, so I allowed multiple companies to use my designs as long as they pay me royalty and the deal was overseen by the head of the police department herself, So I wasn't that cheated, I think

And things would go swimmingly like that for several months till our normality was broken on a trek to our usual meeting place with the pack
