2 Chapter 1: Chat Room

"𝐁𝐞𝐞𝐩! 𝐁𝐞𝐞𝐩! 𝐁𝐞𝐞𝐩!" rang the alarm clock in a bedroom.

Before it can continue ringing, a hand shot out from under the covers of the bed and stopped it. Letting the alarm clock go, the hand retreated to its original place and pulled back the covers revealing a young teen. The boy had dishevelled long black hair which partially covered his deep blue eyes. He also had a handsome face connected to a thin yet muscular body.

The boy rubbed his eyes and went to the bathroom to wash. Before taking the bath, he checked himself in the mirror.

"It's been 16 years and this world is not what I had expected." Izumi Miyamura said to himself.

"But that is to be expected when I reincarnated in this world" he continued as he went to wash.

For the past 15 years, Izumi has been searching around as much as possible to gain information about this world and he was very much surprised. He had indeed been reborn in the world of Horimiya, but that is not all. It seems that the world is a mix of different animes and mangas. What confirmed this theory was the name of one particular town: Kuoh town. This town's existence meant that the story of Highschool DXD existed which also implied a whole plethora of overpowered Gods, Devils, Angels, Dragon, etc.

When Izumi learnt of this ridiculous news, he started preparing as soon as possible. In the Moonlit world, the only rule is the rule of the jungle where the strong eat the weak. Fortunately, Izumi was not completely helpless. His trip down the Void has unlocked his magical circuit. Using his awakened magic circuits, he made some preparations. He trained every day ever since he was able to run and talk without his mother noticing.

Speaking about his mother, he had grown attached to her. Even if he had a mother in his previous life, he couldn't remember much about her anymore which is weird because he remembers the different animes and mangas he watched but not the people he interacted with. Iori Miyamura is an amazing mother who worked hard because she lost her husband before Izumi was born. She also loved making cakes and working at her bakery.

Izumi finished washing and went to get breakfast where he saw a note on the table beside an already prepared breakfast.

"Hi sweetie, here is your breakfast. Good luck on your first day of Highschool and I hope you make plenty of friends at your new school. - Mom"

Izumi smiled and happily ate his breakfast before leaving for school. As he made his way to Katagiri Senior Highschool, he saw many students also walking toward the school. Izumi noticed that one of the most striking features of this world, which is present in any anime or manga, is the varying hair colour. You could see almost all the hair colours going from pink to black. Unfortunately, he only had a normal black colour of a typical protagonist.

Suddenly, while walking, he was attacked by a piercing headache and was hearing a strange voice

The voices continued, but Izumi didn't let his headache show on his face and continued walking. These voices started ever since he started practicing magic, but lately, they have been getting worse and worse and they started making sentences. They have also started getting clearer.

Izumi sighed in relief as the headache and voices finally stopped. He took out a notebook and pen from his schoolbag, opened it, and wrote the sentences he heard.

'So that is one more sentence that I have heard.' he thought as he observed the written sentence. He felt that these sentences were supposed to hint at something as they resonated within his very core.

'Let's not think about it now and go to school. Otherwise, I will be late for the Welcoming Ceremony.' Izumi thought as he saw his school at the end of the street.

Arriving at school, he was guided towards the gymnasium where the Welcoming Ceremony is being held. Taking a seat, he looked around trying to spot the different characters of 𝘏𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘮𝘪𝘺𝘢. To his surprise, the first one he spotted was the female lead: Kyoko Hori. She was a rather short girl about 165 cm with chestnut-brown hair and golden eyes.

"Wow, she is even more pretty in real life." Izumi thought as he looked at her walking towards the podium and delivering a speech since she was the first-year representative. As she started speaking, in the corner of Izumi's vision, something started blinking. The boy immediately tensed expecting an attack. All his life, he has defeated many stray devils, but nothing much. Therefore he was experienced with ambushes and attacks. Looking at the corner of his vision He could see a symbol for a mail letter. Curious, without attracting the attention of the other students, he tried to press the icon, but it opened by itself startling him.

"Are you alright?" a student beside him asked.

"Yes, I am fine. Thank you." Izumi replied. He looked back to the hologram screen in front of him.

"It seems that the others can't see what I am seeing." he thought.

[Welcome administrator to the Multiverse Chat Room! Would you like to send the invitations to the others?]

[Yes/No]

"Is this for real? Am I in some sort of weird fanfiction?" asked the bewildered Izumi as he observed the holographic screen. It took about 5 seconds of hesitation before he pressed [Yes].

[Thank you for becoming the administrator. The invitations have been sent and the new members will arrive in 24 hours.]

The screen collapsed and retreated to the corner of his vision with a loading icon continuously rotating. Still, in a daze, Izumi's attention returned to the front as Kyoko Hori finished her speech. As the Welcoming Ceremony was finished, The students went to their classroom for their first Homeroom class of the day.

Once entering the class and their seats, the homeroom teacher arrived in class.

" Hello everyone, my name is Terajima Reiko and I am going to be the class 1-E homeroom teacher. Before starting class, I want each one of you to present yourself." she introduced herself.

A wave of nervousness and excitement travels through the classroom. One by one, each student presented themselves with their names, their hobbies, their dreams, etc.

"Oh! I didn't know that they were in my class" mused Izumi when he saw Ishikawa Toru, Hori Kyoko, Yoshikawa Yuki and Iura Syu.

"Looks like the story is starting earlier than expected. Even then I don't think I can count on the manga as this is my life now."

When it was finally his turn, he did a quick introduction.

"My name is Miyamura Izumi. I have many hobbies, I don't like many things and my dream is to achieve them" he finished, with a deadpan expression, and sat down as his class looked at him in disbelief.

"HE ONLY SAID HIS NAME!" shouted the class in their head while some giggled. That's right! Izumi just pulled a Kakashi and did not regret the plagiarism. This world wouldn't know as Naruto did not exist in this world. The teacher shook her head and let it pass. The rest of the day was relatively boring as there wasn't anything to learn.

The bell rang and it was time to go home. Izumi quickly grabbed his stuff and made his way home. Arriving at his apartment, he saw his mother cooking dinner.

"I'm home Mom," Izumi said

"Welcome home son. How was your first day of school?" his mother asked cheerily.

"It was fine. Nothing interesting happened."

"Oh? And did you make new friends?"

"How could I possibly make new friends when I never even had one, to begin with? Besides, I am an introvert, we don't make friends. Either they come to us or they don't at all."

"Well, It doesn't matter. I'm sure that you will make great friends. Now go wash your hands, that food is ready."

"Ok mom" Izumi replied and went to the bathroom.

After eating, Izumi went to his room and lied on the bed. He thought about his whole day when
