"FUCK I need to find someone who can help"

Apart from the car that hit us, there wasn't anyone else near us.

"I should go check if the people in the other car are ok"

I got out of the small ditch we were in.

Now I was on the side of the road, the car that hit us was probably on the other side.

While I started walking to the other car, I realized that I was in surprisingly good condition seeing that the car crash we were in was pretty bad.

"What the hell is this thing?"

A Day Earlier

"Man I'm beat"

I had just studied for a math test that was tomorrow, I was pretty tired

GRRRRR

"shit, I gotta eat"

I headed down the stairs, as soon as I was in the living room I saw Mom on the couch as she always does. She needs to start working out or she'll gain weight

"Where's Aiden?" I asked

"Out with some friends"

I left Mom and headed to the kitchen to get a bowl of cereal

When I finish eating I went back up the stairs

"Hmmmmm"

I never go inside his room, might as well do it now.

When I reached the end of the hall I had a choice.

Go back to my room, or go into Aiden's room and snoop around.

I was bored so I went with the ladder

I entered his roo-

"holy shit, this place stinks"

I don't think he cleans his room very much.

Ever since we young he didn't like people going into his room without permission

"Wonder why"

I picked up some of his stuff along the way to his desk.

Looking around to see if he had anything interesting

I made sure to put all the stuff back where it was so he didn't think anyone came in.

I picked up his yearbook from middle school

"Damn he's ugly. Probably got no bitches"

I put it back down and continued to look.

"Huh? this hat I think Mom told me that Dad gave it to him before he left for work.

"Wonder what he was like"

I never got to meet our Father but hopefully, he's doing good

"What's this?"

I found this weird device under one of his school textbooks

"it's off. Wonder what will happen if I turn it on?"

I put it back knowing that If something were to happen I would probably get grounded

I continued to look around

"A picture of Allen"

I never talked to him much but one of my friends had a crush on him. I knew he and Aiden were good friends but I don't see them talking much anymore. Wonder why?

I moved on to the items under his bed

I got a box and opened it

"Uww, prev"

I quickly closed it and put the box back not wanting to see more

"Hmmm, Oh a picture of Nat"

Nat was one of Aiden's close friends.

They got along well and had known each other for more than 6 years.

When Aiden was in middle school Nat told Aiden that she was moving away.

I haven't heard anything about her since then

"He must have been heartbroken"

I went back to his textbook and took the device

Why? I was bored and I was wondering why he had something like this.

"Hopefully he won't notice"

I left his room after that and went back to mine

A Few Minutes Later

"Hmmmm… Should I turn it on?"

I've never seen a device like this so I was a little hesitant

After a little bit of thinking, I decided to turn it

on, I held out my arms and put my head back just in case something bad happened

"?"

I had switched the button from off to on

but nothing had happen

"And here I was thinking something interesting was going on in his life"

I got bored at just looking at the device so switched it off again and put it inside my desk.

I was hoping Aiden wouldn't notice it was gone,

One Day Later

After I got home I noticed Aiden wasn't here

"Probably in his room"

I then went to my room and checked if Aiden had gone into my room to look for the Device.

I checked and thankfully it was still there.

I didn't know if I should hide it or just keep it in my pocket

"I'll ask him about it"

I then put it in my left pocket

*The device switches from OFF to ON without Holly noticing*

| 7:00 PM |

Aiden had been coughing for over a little 10 minutes now and we were still on our way to the hospital.

Mom was running as many red lights as she could while being as safe as possible

VROOM

I heard a car approaching at a rapid pace.

I didn't think much of it unti-

Aiden then pointed at the car that was about to hit us

"OH SHIT"

When the car hit us I was in shock but then something unexpected happened

BLOOM

At that moment the device in the pocket activated.

It then surrounded me in this weird blue energy.

The car continued to spin and roll around and glass continued to fly around the inside of the car.

But nothing hit me. As I looked at Aiden, I saw the exact opposite this red darkish energy. The blue energy that was surrounding me continued to grow bigger and bigger, at the same time so was Aidens red darkish energy.

When they both overlapped, They both stopped, then

BOOM

Blue and red darkish lightning were hitting each other. As the energy's continued to fight, static noises were coming off both of them.

At some point they both started to grow bigger and bigger, While they were growing they continued to fight, At the start, they were evenly matched but suddenly, Aidens Red Darkish energy became completely Black, as I looked at it, it made me feel uncomfortable.

Aidens now Dark energy completely overpowered my Blue energy

They fought for a little while longer but Aidens Black energy won.

My Blue energy dispersed, slowly cracking, then shattering, after that it slowly disappeared.

"What the hell just happened"

What was that Blue Energy and why did Aiden have a Red Darkish energy.

I didn't have time to think, when the car stopped I checked on Aiden and Mom

When I saw that Mom was badly hurt.

I rushed out the car and went to go get help
