11 You are Not Princess Ella, Right?

The carriage moved on in silence, only the clicking shoes of horses and cracking sounds of the moving wheels could be heard.

Neither the werewolf prince nor Dani interacted with each other, and this made her uncomfortable and nervous.

"My lady" the prince said, he didn't have to turn because she was seated opposite him.

"hm..." Dani replied with a questioning look on her face.

"I am sorry for the inconvenience lately, I am Aidan, Prince Aidan" Aidan said to her. Dani didn't know what to do or say because she isn't familiar with the traditions here.

"Prince A-Aidan" Dani repeated, her voice came out as whisper than a normal voice that could be audibly heard.

"It's not Aidan my lady, it's Aidan" Aidan corrected her pronunciation.

"Okay, Aidan" here to call me that. I wonder what is waiting once we arrived at our destination' Dani thought.

Dani wanted to ask the prince something but she coughed and the prince immediately grabbed a glass of water.

When he stretched his hands to give her the water, Dani saw a familiar mark. It looked exactly like the weird tattoo she saw on her wrist before she blacked out but the difference between the one on the prince's wrist and hers was that it looked more like a wound, and it's color is the same with his skin color compared to hers which was black. She even check her wrist to check if the mark was there but it wasn't.

She was quite surprised at what she saw that she forgot that the prince was still holding a glass of water.

"H-how did you get this, what is it?" Asked Dani, pointing at the mark on Aidan's wrist.

The prince was taken back with her sudden question, he studied her for a while before answering her.

"It's my birth mark" Aidan replied still looking at the human in front of him.

"Birth mark!, this looks more like a wound" Dani said still looking at the mark.

"This prince is still holding a glass of water for you, my lady" Aidan said and Dani quickly took the water from him and drank it before placing the glass cup on the table.

Noticing her unaverted gaze on his wrist, Aidan cleared his throat loudly, to gained her attention.

"My lady, I can see you are already obsessed with it. Why don't you check it properly" Aidan said as he offered her his right hand to see the mark on his wrist. He was very much surprised at himself as she was right now. He couldn't believe that he was giving out himself just to satisfy her curiosity. And he had never allowed any woman to touch him, except if they did so without his permission.

Dani wanted to protest but she stopped and just took his hand in her's to observe the mark. But when she felt how warm his hand was on her hand, she couldn't imagine how warm his body would be if it would be her everlasting pillow.

'Dani, you are getting distracted by an ordinary hand, a freaking warm hand' Dani scolded herself.

The mark looked like an ohm symbol with a spear shaped line crossing it.

"You are not Princess Ella" Said Aidan

Dani's heartbeat raced at what Aidan said, she was scared but she didn't let it show.

'Wait, did he know. How' Dani thought.

"You looked scared and afraid of me the first time we met" He said.

"And you ran away because of me, right?. But here you are looking bold and confident. I guess the memory loss helped a lot in making you fearless in front of a werewolf" Aidan said, and Dani felt relieved but she was reminded who he was, he is a werewolf in human form and here she was, holding his hands she was even supposed to abstain completely from him. But she couldn't because she was interested in this mark, she has a feeling that it has something to do with her being here, in this weird world.

Dani wondered if this man in front of her ever laughed, she could tell that he was faking a smile while he was talking and it was evident that he was faking it.

"Do all werewolf have this" Dani asked.

"What a questioning mate I am going to have" He smirked

'mate!' Dani thought

"That isn't what I asked" Dani said raising her chin forward. Aidan was holding himself back from bursting into laughter, she actually look like a rabbit now.

Aidan couldn't help himself but cough out his laughter.

"No, my lady. I am the only one" Aidan said proudly.

Dani wanted to say that she also has it with the way he said it proudly but she could only keep mute.

"Is something bothering you about it, my lady. You seem so infatuated by it"
