The first day Awaken

As the doctor rushed in to help me get rid of the tubes, the machines that were tied up to me were turned off one by one. To be honest, each time the doctor approached me, I would cower a bit. It had been over a century since I last saw someone other than me, or the tiny tiny specks of dust that were "human" on the World Creation system. But more than anything, removing those tubes hurted like hell.

-Jee Yon, can you hear me okay? My name is Jin SooYoung, I'm a neurologist, your grandfather hired me to keep a close eye on your recovery. But, from what we could see from your scans, even with the best skill holders healing you, it would take another year or so to see improvements. Your grandfather is on his way here.

I stood up, and tried to talk, but other than a sharp pain on my throat, no sound would come out.

-Don't try to talk Jee Yon, you had a feeding tube to your throat for more than 2 years, it's way too soon to try and talk. 

My vision was also very weak, so far, I could only make sense of shapes, and blurry images, but more and more images seemed to focus as I tried to look around. And as soon as I could see clearly, I looked at Dr. Jin, he was a young man, not more than 30 years old... funny how I could only see him as a young man, he was definitely older than me, but at the same time, I was much, much older than he could ever imagine, only my body was young... It was at that moment I realized, just how much my grandfather must have suffered, but, at least he was not alone, I on the other hand, had just me, and another me to talk to during 120 years. This kind of lonely tends to chip away at your sanity.

But what most caught my attention, was the nurse that was standing near the doctor. From the blurry images I could see when I first open my eyes, to this point, this nurse did not once left the room. She stood by, and, now that I could see her. I could also see that she had teary eyes.

Her lovely short hair, Hazelnut in color, with just the right amount of highlights it was short, but only because of how curly it was, if straightened out it would probably be near her shoulders. She was small, cute, and had something about her, that just wanted to make me protect her. So, when I say those teary eyes again, even against the doctor's order. I tried to talk. For my surprise, as well as the Doctor's, my voice came out perfectly.

-Are you okay young lady? I can see you tearing up. What's wrong?

As I've said, I was surprised, the doctor was surprised, the nurse was surprised, even the flowers in the vase seemed to be surprised. I just had a tube in my throat for 2 and a half years, and not only did I speak perfectly, but my voice sounded gallant and strong... Yes... The skills I've gained during my 120 years inside the World Creation System seemed to work on the awaken word. Since I'm sure this was the effect of at least two of those...

"Skill: Casanova - Effect: Whenever you speak to someone from the opposite sex, your voice will be gallant, strong, and have a mid level charming effect. Also, on the eyes of the opposite sex, you will always appear as dashing, cool, and brave." - "Gained from the Achievement - Someone's busy as a bunny". Unlocked after I accidently made a tornado near a forest made of pheromonal releasing flowers, the tornado took all that pollen to the entire south hemisphere...the population rose by 3 billions in a flash. 

"Skill: Panacea - Effect: You heal 15x faster than most, is immune to most diseases and poison, and pain is easily overcome."-"Gained from achievement - The doctor is in" This one was unlocked when a single doctor managed to save 10000 lives during the course of his own life.

To be honest, I didn't even know how many skills I still had. Since I thought I couldn't use the system in the awaken world. But, since I was getting better, I decided to look into those matters later, now, I had to make that awkward moment a little less awkward. Since the "Casanova" skill would kick up everytime I talked to the nurse, this time I went ahead and addressed the Doctor.

-I'm sorry... I just saw her tear up, my mind is still all fuzzy... But I think my voice is okay now. Maybe it's the effect of the healers skill's acting up now that I'm awake. You said my grandfather is coming?

The doctor was still in awe, and so was the cute nurse, who know was no longer tearing up as much. Still, something about her made me nervous, in a good way. I don't want to say it was love at first sight... after all she WAS the FIRST sight I had in 120 years, or, 2 years, yeah... Time difference is a pain... But, I don't want to say it was, since, I've never really fallen in love before, since most people tended to either mock my skill, or try to butter up to my grandpa using me.

-Yes, yes...sorry. He said he would be here soon... Jee Yon... I got to say, I'm amazed, I've never seen such a recovery before. Do you mind If we were to test you for additional skills? In the two years you were in a comma, we made several groundbreaking discoveries on skills, and realized that humans can gain skills due to hard work, or from a traumatic experience. It's different from the artificial awakening your grandfather created, since most skills will be minor ones, mostly non named ones, and the artificial awakening will guarantee at least a named skill. 

-Named skills?

-Yes, yes, sorry again. You know how every person is born with one, two, or, in rare cases, three skills right? And we can test those at birth, and they always have a name, like your grandfather's "Long Lived Sage", or mine "Inquisitive one" and "Akashic Seeker", those are named skills, they have effects based on their names, and are most times complex effects, and they show up when we do a simple test on a newborn using a catalyst paper.

I could see how much the doctor was excited, then again, with a skill named as Akashic Seeker, and Inquisitive one, he was most likely always trying to understand every single possible thing on the world.

-Then, a few years ago, someone with the skill "Flower Scented Fart" asked your grandfather for a second artificial awakening, saying he was no longer selling as much once people found were his perfume was from. And the skill he got from it was "Minor Skill Compendium".

At that point, I was just glad people were no long buying fart in a bottle. At least, not while thinking it was actually perfume.

-The skill allowed him to see and list the skills of a person, and when he tested on the scientists on the ground, they noticed the results were different from the catalyst paper. The skills had no name however, just effects, like, "improved memory", "improved stamina","faster hair decay","strength +1".

From his explanation, that took quite a while longer, this led to the development of a new type of catalyst paper, that could list any Named or unnamed skill a person had... And I really was scared of that, if anyone found out the several named skills I had, it would be a huge deal. I'm not someone who wants to fight evil, or to take revenge, or to bring salvation to mankind. I just want to live my life, but that would be all over if my skills got leaked. My grandfather had a lot of trouble in his life, and all he had were 3 skills. But, before I could protest, say no, or even voice my opinion, the nurse stopped the doctor, who was still explaining in detail how the new catalyst paper worked, down to how the paper was created... I honestly wasn't listening anymore, and just nodded while thinking of what I would do from now on with my "Dual Thought process". But both ego's ignored the doctor, and started to make plans. The nurse however, seemed to have taken my nodding as a positive response to the doctor's question, and runned the test on her own.

-Doctor, Jee Yon don't have any other skill other than "World Creation System" and the minor skill "sleep time + 60" 

When I looked at the paper, it clearly only showed those two... so... where did my other skills come from? 

"It must be because our skill is the World Creation System, all other skills we have, are related to her, so, it wont show as a second skill. 

My second ego was processing the information, and came up with that conclusion. I realized over time that the second ego from the Dual Thought process, was able to analyze data better than me, since, even though it was a separated Ego, it has no emotions, so it just goes by logic and calculations. I think that's the reason Mars habitants didn't wage as much wars as Earth ones in the system.

My internal dialogue was cut short, as the doctor and the cute nurse suddenly tensed up and stood up straight. As I was admiring the beauty of the nurse, I caught a glimpse of the door, and saw my Grandfather there. He looked older, not by much, but older, tired, and with dark circles under his eyes. For once, the always cold and distant look disappeared, as he rushed in the room.

-Jee Yon, you... you're okay! Thank you, thank you! I can't believe. 

It was odd to look at my grandfather like that, not once had I seen him cry. And there he was, leaking from the eyes like a fountain. But, he was not the only one. Before I could notice, I too was crying. I think having my family there with me again, after such a long, long time... It was a nice, odd feeling. 

-I'm okay... I just slept a bit too much. Sorry to make you worry...

And just as I was reunited with my grandfather, something I thought I would never see in the waking world, the system message appeared in front of me, not in the usual grey out color, but in a bright yellow color.

 - Warning - Transmigrator's signal found in the nearby area - Danger level "Yellow"- Non-Humanoid transmigrator. Body take over process - 75%

 - Quest system initiated, generating quest - "Find and purify the transmigrator before the completion of the Body Take over process" Rewards upon cleared quest: Small Pocket Dimension skill Lvl1 - Upon failure - Two skills from the Achievement window will be locked for 30 days, and a follow up quest will initiate -

That wasn't the worst part. It's common on mangas, manwas, animes and games that only the person itself see the ever so omnipresent System message right? I'm not crazy thinking it's common sense that I would be the only to see it right?

...

But no... why makes things easy for me? I mean, to have any sort of use from my skill, I did had to go into a comma, and spend more than 120 years talking only to myself, and I do mean LITERALLY talking to myself... Why would it be easy now that I've woken up?

Everyone saw the message... the doctor, my grandpa, and the cute nurse...who I still haven't asked for her name, since I'm afraid the Casanova skill will flare up again...

The confusion was in the air, and the first one who tried to say anything was my grandfather.

-Jee....

Buuutttt, he was cut short, since Dr. Jin pushed him before he could say anything, and started a infernal bombardment of questions about what that screen was.

I'll save you the trouble of listening to all his never ending questions, but I did have to answer a few of those. I've explained how my skill works while I'm sleeping, and how on the dreaming world, I had a lot of skills that I could use ( Never mentioned that I could use those on the real world, or the time disparity between real world and dream world). And that the reason I managed to wake up earlier, was because of one of those skills, that appeared after the message about the first Transmigrator. 

After answering all his questions, the doctor started taking some notes, he was clearly interested on the transmigrator, but he had too much new information to catalogue and sort, so he left us alone for a moment. Long enough for my grandfather to talk, in full this time.

-Jee Yon, that message said that if you don't purify the transmigrator, some of your skills will be locked for 30 days. Does this mean that you may fall back into a comma if the skill that allowed you to wake up get locked up?

-I honestly don't know. This is new for me too... This quest system is too weird. For starters, how come you guys can see it too? Should it not be visible only to me?

-I think you play too much videogames, how on earth would something be visible only to you? 

-I dont know? How can I create Worlds in my sleep? Weird things happen! My friend made a fortune selling farts, and once he got found out, he managed to make a new fortune by introducing minor skills to the world. How's that normal?

-You... you got a point, but that's not the real issue now... Can you focus on the quest? It's starting to get from yellow to red.

I didn't realize the quest window was still open, I really have to idea on how to close it by the way. But when I reread the message, I noticed that it was displaying the situation in real time, the message now said.

 - Warning - Transmigrator's signal found in the nearby area - Danger level "Yellow"- Non-Humanoid transmigrator. Body take over process - 79% -

From what I could see, the process of taking over a body was slowly speeding up. And I didn't want to risk falling asleep again after just waking up.

-Okay okay... so I think I need to "purify" this transmigrator, first, I have to find him... I think I had a radar function on my skill...

And the second I said that, a small round white and gold map was displayed in front of me. about 15 cm away from my eyes, no bigger than a small soccer ball. I looked at my grandfather, hoping he could not see the map, but there he was, trying to find the location of the transmigrator on the map.

This really will look weird if I can't turn it off.

-Okay, I just asked my bodyguards to locate the person this map is pointing to, it seems like he was in the morgue, a young man who had just died is now standing at the morgue, with blue flames surrounding his body. We have to hurry. C'mon.

My grandfather took my hand, and helped me out of the room, and as I passed the cute nurse, all I wanted was to say goodbye, and to thank her, but...

-Goodbye fair one. It's with sorrow that we depart. I'll forever remember your tender touch as you cared for me.

Casanova Skill is a passive skill it seems, but that's not the worst part, the worst part is leaving after saying such embarrassing things, and looking back and see the nurse fanning herself with her hand, blushed.

That was the first time I saw my grandfather trying to hold his laughter.

-It's downstairs, oh fair one. Pfft....

-That's not my fault... goddammit... But, thank you Grandpa, It's been a while since I laughed a bit.

My grandfather looked at me without understanding, sure, I was in a coma for 2 years, but that's not something that would cause this type of talk, but if we take into account that I spent 120 years with someone who has no emotions as my only talking buddy, and that someone was me, sure... It's been a while. Again, from his point of view, I may not have healed properly yet...

-Once we are done here, I'll tell the doctor to run a ct scan, just to make sure. 

-Hey...I'm not...

-Shush, we are here... See, that's where your radar thingy is pointing to. 

We had arrived at the morgue, in there, a boy, all stitched up, was covered in blue flames, the flames seemed to heal his body, The color was almost fully returned to his skin, the stitches that covered him were burning along, leaving nothing but a clear skin.

Looking at the system message, it showed that the process was at 90%

The only thing was...How the hell am I supposed to purify that?
