Chapter 29: Finding Urella's Home

“What do you mean, ‘friends’?” Julietta asked in surprise.

“Didn’t you just say that your friend, Raine is connected to a witch?” Vernicia asked.

“I didn’t mean that he was friends with one,” Julietta replied. “The witch was mean to him in the past and so he is struggling to get rid of what she did,” she explained.

“It sounds pretty involved, but don’t fall for him because you feel sympathetic towards him,” Vernicia advised. “Stay smart,” she added in a firm tone.

“I will, but now we have to get some sleep or we definitely won’t get up in the morning,” Julietta advised.

“We can meet at the school labs at lunch break and discuss this further,” Vernicia proposed.

“Yes, we can,” Julietta responded. “But, just in case we can’t talk there, just remember to show up at the lake on Saturday, late afternoon.”

“Good then, Vernicia replied. “Congratulations on meeting a nobleman, though,” she added.

“Thank you,” Julietta responded happily.
