Chapter 42

After 15 minutes of resting, Spike finally returned back to the Village where he sneakily killed almost half of the remaining Kobolds.

And as there weren't much left he didn't have much trouble killing them all.

He then rested there for an hour where he checked his harvest.

It Wasn't any different from Stone's.

Other than the number and names, He also got a [Ring Of The Kobold Mage] which catched his attention.

'Mage? like Real Mages? there are magicians here? does that mean we can use Mana? oh ye, I remember seeing it in the status when Spike opened it.

SMH, how did I not even think of that.

I'll ask Stone later if he knows something.'

"Ight, let's move on."

Spike then got up and got out of the Village.

his clothes were still bloody, but, not as much as the Village.

Stella was doing a pretty good job on her own, unlike Stone and Spike, she was fighting scheletons, A pretty though yet good for training enemy.

She was already Level 15 after only a few hours.

Pretty hard working If I say so myself.

Stone moved to another Tribe after resting for a few minutes and burned it down.

and he did it once again before he moved onto raising his skills and weapons' mastery.

and that's how the day passed.

"It's About time..." Demon Spike said as he looked at the sky, 11 hours passed.

He purged another Kobold Village and he also killed some Goblins who were out of their territory.

In total he killed around 500 beasts in just 11 hours!

A Demon indeed.

Now he was level 20, and he couldn't progress anymore. Adding that to the fact that little Spike was about to wake up, he decided to rest.

15 minutes later, Demon Spike started to feel his consciousness getting sucked out.

He didn't feel much pain but it was still disturbing.

seconds later, Demon Spike found himself sealed in the familiar black room, he could do nothing but see from and talk inside Little Spike's mind.

But that was enough to work on his plan, however now that he came out once it was doomed that he'll start doing it again and again.

"Mhmmm!" Spike got up confused as he looked around.

"Where am I? Who am I? What am I? wait ,wait..."

"I'm Spike? oh ye I remember, Wait what? What am I even saying? Gaa, enough of that, This is even stranger..." Spike looked at his body and suddenly squated.

*Boom*

"Gahahhaha, I feel light, I feel strong, I like this, I love it!"

*Tap*

"Haa, that was refreshing! I never felt like this before, even my senses and thinking are way sharper and faster."

"How did this even happen?" Spike said as he looked deep into his memory.

suddenly memories of the past hours flooshed his mind.

Aside from the pain it caused, there were many benefits.

First, his battle awareness and experience increased by a lot.

Second, he knew the reason why he felt so light and obviously it was because of his level ups.

and Lastly, he knew who did all of this.

"You..."

"What? you still hate me for doing that?"

"Of course I do! how dare you knock me out like that!"

"Stop fucking shitting with me! You slept all that time so you didn't feel my pain, Do you know how it feels to be sealed in this Fucking Dark Room for 16 years? I can only see through your memories and eyes!"

"Ah- umm- I dunno, But, How did you do that?"

"Do what?"

"How were you able to kill all those monsters alone???"

"I just used my brain, Idiot! I'm not scared of dying. In anycase, that's better than being sealed in this pitch black hell."

"Enough of that, How were you able to Dash like that, and even your movement looked smoother than usual, As if you've inherited them from me..." Demon Spike asked.

"I... don't know. I just had this sudden urge to dash and my movement felt natural yet perfect. even when I think of my fight with the kobolds, I can imagine dozens of ways to kill them without them even knowing!"

"Hmm? you've definitely fused totally with me... Switch!" Demon Spike suddenly shouted once an idea struck his mind.

"Huh?"

*Thump*

Little Spike felt the familiar feeling of getting sucked, and in a few seconds, he woke up in a pitch black room where not even a speck of light existed.

"Wha- What is this, I can't move!"

"Giahahahhahahah! I've Done it, I've done it! Finally, I don't need to worry about being stuck in that hell of a room for eternity."

"You- Switch!" Little Spike repeated Demon's last word and he felt a nice feeling of getting his control over his body back

"Wha-"

a few seconds later Demon regained his consciousness in the black room, Gritting his teeth internally.

And boom they repeated the Same word again and again.

A fight of patience had began

8 minutes later.

"Haa, Haa! Never underestimate my patience little Spike. Hehe!"

"Ight, Demon! I concede, But, please give me my body back. I understand your agony, But I don't want to be sealed here."

"Hmm, We gotta make a plan..." Little Spike continued.

"A plan?"

"Ye, something like that. like we should think of a way to distribute the time we control our body, Like each day one of us gets the right to control it. After thinking about it, It seems that we're really one.

"you're the me that is Ruthless, while I'm the me that is shy... and only by us fusing together can we become complete."

"I like that Idea, but, didn't you hate me?"

"Not after I saw my benefits and... This pitch black room!!"

"Giahah! that's funny, I like seeing you like that."

"you really don't know how to laugh, don't you?"

"Is there a problem with my laugh?"

"Nope, I don't think so..." Little Spike subconsciously said as he felt some killing energy floating through his very being .

"That's what I thought. Now, how will we distribute this body?"

"Ah- Hehe... So-"
