6 Dumbledore- goofy

{note- trying to write in a new tone, in case it does not work out will retract and rewrite}

{Pov Dumbledore} (He is not evil or manipulative, yet we do not know if he ever would be, but at this stage, I have taken the liberty to make him a goofy character.)

I knocked at 176A Bleecker Street for my next muggle family. Normally, introduction to magic to no-maj is done by assistant professors, prefects, or the Headboy at Hogwarts, but this particular child resembles someone. That resemblance to my former protege is not something that I am fond of.

My head was a little fuzzy, courtesy of the knight's bus. While it is not comfortable, the journey has its perks.

At the window on the side of the door, was a child holding the Hogwarts letter.

Sometimes I wonder what is the necessity of sending word to muggles, who take the sacred letter as a prank when they have yet to be introduced to the magical world.

The child snatched, sorry, picked out the letter to read it. He turned to me as if to ask for confirmation. That was interesting for him to relate the letter to me and be sure of it, as the looks of his deep black eyes assured me that he knew what business I meant.

The door opened, in her mid-fifties came to greet me.

"Yes sir?" The woman asked me about my subject of the visit to their house as a stranger.

"Mrs. Walkthrow, I am Albus Dumbledore, vice headmaster of Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry. I am here for your son's introduction to the world of magic."

They were looking at me as if I was pranking them but I just had to perform simple spells to make them believe me. Now here comes the best part. It always is fun to see muggles' reactions when they first see magic. A Lumos?- No. Muggles had long since been made so that they could produce light with their science. I know exactly what will surprise them!

"Fiendfyr- *Ahem* I turned to see who dared to disturb.

"My my, Prof. McGonagall, what are you doing here, I could have taken care of the boy."

"He is special enough to send two professors, Albus. And simple Patronus would have sufficed for them to know our intentions are good."

"Aww... But where is the fun in that?

{Pov change Mc}

"Ano... Excuse me, may we know what you were saying about our little Ben?" asked my mother.

She may have adopted me but the love I receive is pure motherly, so I can't help but respond in kind.

"Yes, but first... EXPECTO PATRONUM!

A white, ghostish cat figure emerged from the time of a stick she held in her hand. It had a soothing effect, similar to that of RAAN, the Thu'um that specifies animals, just this one seems to work upon humans alike. Fascinating.

"Can we talk now, Sir?" The woman turned to the husband of my mother and asked.

"Walkthrow, Adam Walkthrow."

"I am Minerva McGonagall, head of transfiguration at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and I am here regarding the introduction and admission procedures of your ward, little Benedict here to our school. " She turned "My friend Albus here is the Vice-Headmaster at Hogwarts."

"Umm, can we sit down then talk about the matter, ma'am?" I asked

"That would be helpful."

[20 minutes later]

"So magic has been long since hidden from the sight of muggles, who are humans that cannot access magic, you are from the most prestigious schools of magic in Europe and somehow, Benedict here can tap into magic?"

"Yes"

My parents put their gazer onto me, before turning to the professor.

"What would happen if he would reject the admission?"

"Nothing, but we would have to obliviate your memories of this meeting, to protect the Statue of Secrecy."

"And if we, his ward, and he have different views regarding this admission, what will happen?" My mother turned to me with a somewhat stern expression, but I knew she was pretending in front of me.

"As the guardian, you have all right to refuse and we will not allow anyone to come to Hogwarts, without the guardian's permission."

"What do you think of this Ben? Do you want to go to this school?" Mr. Addam asked me.

"Will I would be barred from taking these 'muggle' books there?" I asked Minerva.

"You would not be barred, but it is frowned upon to bring Muggle items at the school. In a private dormitory though, you are free to do whatever you want."

"I would like to go to this school if you would allow me, Mr. Addam, mother."

"He is polite." Dumbledore came out from outside.

"Call me father you Brat, I feel discriminated against by my wife, and we would not stop you from going there, Ben only if you desire to go . There is no compulsion from our side if you think that way" Addam said

"I would call you father, Mr. Addams, for that I need time to adjust. I do not want to say it as a word if I do not mean it." I replied to Minerva "I would like to study at Hogwarts, but I have a question madame. May I ask?"

"That is the whole premise of this meeting little Ben, for you to know what you are getting into. Ask away."

"Why did you use that stick to conjure that summons miss?

"Oh it is called a wand, and it is naturally needed for wizards and witches to tap into their magic. pretty big words coming out of you young man, was he schooled?"

"He may not be, but we parents are proud that he has knowledge in subjects of science and maths up to entry college levels at the age of eleven. He is seven years ahead of his peers." My mother boasted.

"But why would you need to use a wand to conjure spells?"

"It has been that way for the last 1200 years, wands act as our limbs while casting magic."

"But I dont need a wand." "What do you mean, Ben" The old man sneaked again out of somewhere.

"Can you perhaps demonstrate what you mean by that, little Ben?" The vice headmaster roamed along Ms. Minerva.

"RAAN! The THu'um pacified the surroundings, making a calming aura emerge from my voice. (RAAN only pacified animals with its succeeding words giving animal allegiance, here aiming for just pacifying effect, similar to that of Patronus)

"HOLY SHEEEET!!!!!"

"Language Albus!! " She turned to me, with a surprised expression.

"This... This wandless casting. Figures why Dippet insisted for two of us to come down here." I became normal, and they had faces of astonishment, but none of fear, which relieved me to a huge extent.

"We would discuss more of this on school grounds, for now, when would you be free to visit Diagon Valley? For his school supplies and all that."

"We would love to join you on the 31st of this month if that works for you, professor." She stood up, to leave probably.

"Please call me Minerva, and yes that would work for us. I would revisit here on the 31st then."
