Chapter 5

"Wait!" Rai yelled as he woke up abruptly, Rai was out of breath and sweating. "Was that a dream or-" he was interrupted when his father and brothers burst into the room, "Rai, did you have a bad dream?" asked Jiao-long concerned. "What did you dream about?" asked Katsu, Rai couldn't answer that question cause he himself didn't even know, so he just curled himself up and hid his face. Victor, who had brought a glass of water for him, looked at Jiao-long who was both concerned and confused.

The next morning the family sat and ate breakfast together, and acted as though nothing had happened. Rai still had the lingering thoughts of what the golden dragon said, and he had questions that he wanted answers for, and he didn't know when or if he'll ever see that dragon ever again. Rai was very quiet and barely touched his food. This, of course, hadn't gone unnoticed by Jiao-long, "Rai, are you not hungry?" he asked pointing to the plate of food sitting in front of Rai, "Not really" Rai said sounding bland, he then got up and went to the back yard. The back yard was the perfect place for Rai to unwind, the scenery was beautiful, the private lake and the garden full of flowers made it just right. He went and sat in the gazebo facing the lake.

"What exactly did he dream about," asked Rui with his hand over his chin, "I don't know but whatever it was, messed him up pretty bad," said Katsu, "Maybe we should take him to see a therapist," Jiao-long said as he finished his food. "A therapist?" said Katsu questioning his father's suggestion, "Dad, don't you think a therapist is too much," asked Rui, "It may be too much but we can never be too careful". "Yeah, but he didn't even talk to us about it, what makes you think he'll talk to a total stranger," asked Katsu, "That's a therapists job," said Rui, "Oh come on who side are you on, Rui?", "I'm not on anyone's side!" Rui snapped back, "I just want the best for him" he added regaining his composure. They all look out the window to where Rai was, "The best..." Jiao-long thought.

------------------------------------

Rai was feeling much better after clearing his mind and was on his way to his father's study when his head started hurting, Rai leaned on the wall for support. It felt like someone was ripping his head open, then he heard it again, "Raizel", the dragon's voice echoed in Rai's head as he fell to the floor with a thud
