Chapter 25

"Ugh, I'm hungry" Eva complained, "We're about to land in about thirty minutes," Jiao-long said. "Thirty minutes? We aren't even close to the Island" Eva said, "The Island doesn't have an airport, so we have to land, then we take a boat to Aerwyna" Rui explained. "Here you are," Victor said placing a bowl of noodles next to Evangeline, "Oh my, Victor you're here? Well since you're here, can I get something to drink, I'm a bit thirsty" Eva said, putting her arms around Victor's. Everyone's skin crawled, "Oh god, please stop," Rai thought, "Evangeline, you can stop now, Victor is not attracted to women," Jiao-long said. Eva looked like she had seen a ghost, she withdrew her arms as she looked at the tall, man with silver hair, now she really needed a drink to help cope with the realization that Victor would never like her. He might as well be a fictional character, she could only fantasize about the non-existent future with him.

The light signaling for them to buckle their seatbelts came on and everyone buckled up. After the jet had landed, everyone got off, Rai had a strong feeling of Deja Vu. "Wow, it's really late. Are we gonna stay here for the night, Victor?" Katsu asked, "Yes, I've booked three suites for the night" Victor replied. "Only three?" Rai questioned, " Yes, the suites come with three rooms in each" Victor said. A black Cadillac pulled up behind Victor and the driver stepped out and opened the doors, Jiao-long took the front passenger seat, Katsu, Rai, and Rui took the backseat, positioning Rai in the middle, and Eva, Li Jie, and Victor sat in the very back.

"Who do you  want to share a room with, Rai?" Jiao-long asked. There are three suites, each having three rooms, there are seven people so two people would have to share a room. Logically, it would be better to share a room with Li Jie but being alone with him is risky, even though he wouldn't be able to do anything to Rai. Sharing a room with his father or brothers would be better. "I want to stay with…".
