Chapter 21

"It seems he collapsed from fatigue," said the doctor, "That's logical," said Jiao-long, "His body has always been fragile" He added. Rai was laying on his bed, he had a slight fever but nothing to be concerned about, and this only further proved Jiao-long's point of a much-needed vacation.

"Those idiots. I passed out 'cause of the memories of this Eva person" Rai said, after Jiao-long and the doctor left. "Though they wouldn't be entirely wrong about the composition of this body," he thought, he threw his arm over his face. He froze and looked at his hand, once again it shone that golden color. Rai sat up and rushed to his camera, he touched the camera and it too had begun to glow. "Very good, Raizel", the voice that echoed in Rai's head once again, made his blood boil. "You show up now!" Rai shouted, "I apologize, there was nothing that could be done," Seraphina said. Rai didn't buy it, he heard the amusement in its voice, "I'll dissect you" Rai mumbled, "Did you say something Raizel", Seraphina asked, Rai, forced a smile, "No, of course not" he said. "Very well then. Now that you have channeled your energy from your hand to the camera, simply take a picture" Seraphina explained, Rai looked at the camera and pointed it at his face, "It would be safer to point it elsewhere" Seraphina stated. Rai didn't question it, he pointed it at the book on the coffee table, and pressed the button. A loud explosion ripped the book apart, leaving only its fiery remains. "What the hell was that!" Rai shrieked, "It is similar to what this world calls holy water," Seraphina said. "What kind of holy water obliterates a book as thick as a dictionary!?" Rai was relieved that it was the book and not his angelic face. "Young master, I heard a loud noi-" the young servant's face turned to horror when she saw the remains of the book, she screamed, "THERE'S A FIRE IN THE YOUNG MASTER'S ROOM!" she screamed running down the hall. Rai was dumbfounded, "This can't possibly be healthy".
