Chapter-1: A prisoner.

Oh, am I dead?

I ask myself as I see the dark surroundings and nothing but darkness as far as the eye can reach, while I'm bound by my now stale body, which won't move at my command for even a single inch. My thoughts began to scatter and I just let myself drift into nothingness.

Even if I'm dead, what about it? I didn't have much to live anyways, I wasn't even a real person... I was just something that they left in their house and had to deal with, having no other choice but to live with the burden of my existence.

I can no longer feel anything, and it's great that I can finally rest.

-Later-

Just as I thought it was the end for me, I suddenly started... Feeling again. I slowly open my eyes and around me, there are four walls and below me a bed. The room in which I am is empty and has nothing besides the bed, the walls are blue and the floor is made out of wood.

"Just where am I?!" I asked as I heard my voice and instead of my usual monotone and sick voice, I hear a soft and cute voice.

"What happened to my voice?!" I yell as I jump off the bed with my eyes wide and my expression showing discomfort.

I couldn't believe what was happening, wasn't I supposed to be dead? Wasn't I supposed to rest?! Why am I being forced to live!

As usual, my negative thoughts were my main form of expression as I held my throat, and tried to figure out what's going on with my voice.

"My voice! This room!? Did I somehow reincarnate?! No! Why me?! There are so many who want it! Why chose me?! All I want is the eternal rest of death!" I started complaining as I couldn't understand the unfairness of the universe, it feels like the more you want something the farther away it will be from you.

*Sigh* "I've ranted, now all I can do is live with it." I state as I give up on the idea of my eternal rest coming so soon.

I once again look around the room, and I realize that before, I missed the presence of the mirror on the wall.

"I'll look at myself and discover the truth.", I say as I move closer to the mirror and every step feels like a step closer to something dreadful, I feel myself sweating without understanding why and just keep getting closer until...

"I'm completely different." I say seeing myself in a moment that I can only describe as the first time.

I now have long deep orange hair and orange eyes, with slightly big eyelashes of the same color. My dark skin looks healthier than ever and my stature and size seem to have shrunken, as I'm now about 1,62cm(5'2) in height and my body is slim but my physique is great with toned muscles.

The clothes I'm wearing are nothing but a plain beige shirt and plain beige shorts with low-quality leather shoes, and I even think it's fake leather.

"Is this really me?! How can someone fat and tall like me, just wake up with a body like this? Overlooking the fact, I'm a little short and girly looking right now, I would say this is a perfect body." I say as I flex my newly gained muscle in front of the mirror, fooling myself into believing I'm strong.

"But how did I even end up here?" I ask myself while I walk towards the bed and lay on it.

The moment I lay on the bed, something unexpected happens, and a floating screen appears right in front of my face.

"What?!" I say as I look at the contents of it.

[Mortal, your soul was quite strong so I dedicated that you will help me with my findings. Worry not you will also gain from this, as I gave you a new body, magical powers, and an AI that will occasionally send you my orders. For now, you will be staying in the world of Fairy Tail until I have enough data. Enjoy your time there.]

What was this supposed to mean?! How can it be that I who was supposed to be free, am now getting encaged like this, with no say in the matter? This was the reality of life, most things that happen are out of our control.

"I give up, I rather just die and rest eternally," I say as I move towards the door of the room.

When I open it on the other side there's a two ways hallway with the left of it ending on a wall with a window. I move towards it while bypassing multiple doors, and eventually reaching the window.

"It was a nice little moment, but death awaits me." I say as I prepare to just jump from what seems to be a five-story building, but then.

[Warning! If you are to die before my creator's data is fully collected, you'll not simply die but have your soul tortured for the rest of eternity. I suggest surviving at all costs!]

"What!?" I was startled by the sudden message of the system and ended up falling from the window anyway.

I close my eyes and wait for it to end.

No! I don't want to get tortured for eternity!! Why was my life always reduced to what I want the most getting stolen from me!!

Just as I thought so and was expecting my brutal end...

"KYYYAAAA!!!" I hear the scream of a girl and instantly fell my body hit something.

*BAM*

For some reason, I don't feel any pain at all from what just happened and simply open my eyes to see a blond girl laying on the ground a few centimeters from me.

Oh no! She's the girl I just hit while falling! I have to hide the body before the police get me!... Wait! I'm in another world... And I don't even know if this world has police. Yeah, I better just get out of here before things get bad.

I turn around and just as I'm trying to run, I feel a hand touch my shoulder, and I know I'm done for.

I slowly turn my face around and say.

"I'm innocent until proven guilty!" I sell myself out because of the pressure.

I see for the first time the girl's face directly and I immediately recognize her.

"Lucy?" I let my voice out by accident and just as I realize what I did, I see something very weird.

Suddenly the world around me became completely dark and everything disappeared, nothing but darkness could be seen.

"Arrrghhh!" I scream in pain as I can feel as if my whole body was just pierced from all sides!

Just like that, the world went back to normal and my now terrified expression could be seen by Lucy as if nothing happened in between me turning around and saying her name.

"Hey, kid! I asked how do you know my na... " Lucy said to me with an annoyed expression, then she stopped and changed her question. "Are you ok?!" She asked seeing expression right now.

I move my head to the right and left, I'm definitely not ok!! What just happened was not only awfully painful, but it was also only a warning! If I stay near her and say something by accident I'm done!

I immediately turn around and run easily since she loosened her grip on me when she saw my expression. I ran as fast as I could.

"Hey, you little devil! Get back here!" I could hear her voice in the distance for a bit but before I knew it, I was on the end of the city right next to its walls.

I stopped and I expected to be really tired but I'm not really tired, but I'm very hungry!

"What do I do now?! I'm in fairy tail... So, I should join a guild... But I don't even know magic... Wait, didn't the message say I have magical powers now?! Can I use magic?" my thoughts go back and forth with all of this happening one thing right after the other.

I take a deep breath and then shake my head.

"I have to survive and find a way to escape this crazy being that imprisoned me so that I can have my final rest!" I said trying to shake my fear with strong determination.

"How do I even use magic?" I asked having no idea.

"This is really amazing! I even have some spells already. This might actually be an interesting experience after all." I said looking at my status.

I now wonder where I will stay, it's not like I can just go back to the place I woke up in, not only do I not know where it is, I also don't know if Lucy'd still looking for me, she was quite persistent in the anime.

Lucy heartfilia, one of the main characters of the anime fairy tail. Lucy was from what I remember a quite dreamy girl that wanted to be a member of fairy tail, to gain recognition and prove she was capable of providing for herself without having to live under that father of hers.

While I was thinking about it, I heard a shout in the distance.

"HEY! You! Did you see a kid with orange hair pass by?" Said a young man with short spiky pink hair, sharp eyes and wearing a white scarf.

"Hm... No! I'm just passing by." I say as calmly as I can, which isn't very good since I'm slightly trembling.

"Oh, thank you! I guess we have to keep looking." He said as it seems he believed me.

"Natsu! It's obviously him! Look at his hair!" A flying blue cat said while pointing at me.

"Happy, what are you talking about? He just said it's not him. Why would he lie? I'm pretty sure kids can't even lie." The young man with pink hair said to the flying blue cat.

(This guy is a damn idiot. I better leave while they talk.) I thought to myself then I started slowly getting away.

"What?! Where did you get that outrageous information?! You actually believe that!" The flying cat yelled.

"I have my sources, you just don't know." The pink-haired Young man said.

"No, you're just stupid to believe that. That's why you lose to Gray." The blue cat said.

"WHAT?! I never lost to Gray!!" The pink-haired young man said.

By that time I'm already far enough to start sprinting out of there. I hope they don't find me too easily, but with that guy's nose, I might get found out quite easily. That pink-haired guy is Natsu Dragneel, a crazy knucklehead that is strong and also another main character of fairy tail. The problem is that he's a dragon slayer as well and dragon slayers have a very good sense of scent, so they might find me.

Why am I running? I don't know! I'm just nervous, what if they ask for compensation or try to make me work with them to pay back? I don't even know how to use magic yet and these people only attract trouble, so why would I want to be close to them.

"I have to find a place for myself." I say as I start moving towards the unknown in this odd situation.
