Polishing the skills

"Starting from today we will solely focus on your blade skills, so Azouki do you know your skills?", Mai asked me as we started our first day of training, "Well I know some skills like Azure Moon, Moon Gazer, Hell Slash and that's all I know although there are new skills that I want to learn but lets get these basic skills first, shall we", I said, "Hmm... well that's awkward, I thought you knew the Ex skills but looks like I have to start from the beginning", she said as approached me with her katana and whispered "Mist posture" and all of a sudden the ground was covered with fog, I could barely see her and suddenly I sensed something coming towards me and I immediately dodged it and as I thought it was the katana which was about pierce my body, "Well your senses are quite sharp I say", Mai complimented me as walked out of the fog making the fog disperse in thin air, "And must I say that was one hell of a technique!", I said as I held her hand willing to learn that technique, "Well this technique wont be easy to learn since it requires your compatibility with the Air element", explained Mai, "for certain skills they require a different element and same goes for the classes as well like clan master Chisei Gen has the Assassin Class which enables him to weaken his foes at a distance and attack them and as for Caesar who is the clan masters old friend as well as your senpai has the Gunslinger class which enables him to shoot his enemies at short and long ranges while clan masters little sister Eri Uesugi has the most unique class, i.e., the Puppeteer Class which allows her to create illusions and can transform into anything to confuse her enemies", she explained further.

Once she finished explaining everything about the classes and the element thing she came to me and told me to grab my katana and spell the skill as soon as I slash my blade in open air, "Remember to think that the air and you share an old bond", she said, "Umm.. okay I will try", I said and slashed my blade in the air as I spelled "Mist posture!" and suddenly everything went blank, "Woah! so this is the specialty of this skill!", I said as I was able to see Mai's shadow and then I appeared in front of her surprising her, "Woah! you had me for a second, I am truly amazed on how you quickly adapt your skill and made a perfect bond with the air element", Mai said as she hugged me, then she told me to watch carefully on how she will be using her next skill.
