Chapter 49: My Strange Mother-In-Law

When the pair returned to the car, it was now parked beside the entrance, countless other cars now pushing through as the noise of their engines, the scent of their old fuel and the occasional beeping from the people with little patience. 

Alizée stood on the side of the road, smoking a cigarette, while some middle-aged man with balding hair stood beside her, constantly chatting away.

Zell and Veronica approached in a carefree manner.

He didn't care about this old man; he thought his symbol was the same as the blonde guy he had curb-stomped before leaving.

"Well, Miss Beaumont... I think you would be pleased with the level my son has both visually and his development as an 'Achiever' maybe you could consider their engagement in the future?" The bald man spoke strangely, subserviently, as the content made Zell frown.

Alizée finally saw Zell and began to smirk with an evil smile as she narrowed her eyes at him.
