The little monster in kids skin would present all sorts of living things, telling him to kill them with the reapers techniques that she chose.

At first the victims were creatures or grown humans but as the days passed, the victims turned into elderly, children, beautiful women, and many more things he struggled with. He died hundreds, maybe thousands of times in all different and gory manners, destroying his spirit and desensitizing him of death and killing.

On the 21st day, he killed without mercy, performed perfectly with each reaper skill, blocked or dodged everyone of the little monsters attacks. He was finally getting somewhat comfortable.... but that all fell down the gutter when she did something a little unexpected.

"You've performed extraordinarily and I love that sexy killing intent your releasing~"

Every time he killed now, his eyes would turn cold and vacant. He had more experience than most professional killers and mass murderers. His kill count was in the six or seven digits.

"Now for the final three tests before I release you from our little play date."

A group of figures appeared with warm and smiling faces. It was Andrew, Amelia, Maya, Serena, Darien, Tyler's family, and his other friends.

"Now slaughter the—"

Before she finished, their heads went flying and the whole room sprayed with their simulated blood.

Kyren stood in the same spot unmoving with blood on his cheek. The cold glint in his eyes was indifferent.

'I knew she'd pull something like this... but why wasn't she there?'

"MARVELOUS!!! You have me in awe!" She applauded as a delighted expression crossed her face.

"....."

"Now for the second test..."

There was only one figure this time, and she appeared quite close to him.

"Rayna..... pl-please no."

Rayna had her usual puppy dog innocent expression with a sunny smile. She came close and embraced him affectionately.

"You have too...." Her sweet voice hit his ears, paralyzing him.

His heart was breaking and his cold expression was turning grim and sorrowful. He knew this would come but he couldn't possibly have done anything to prepare.

"I'm sorry..."

He didn't even move his weapon as a deep gash appeared on her back. She slowly slumped in his arms as her body became cold and lifeless.

Tears were falling from his face as he slouched down and held her.

The body and the blood disappeared and the little monster appeared before him.

"The final test is to kill me, make sure to use your best killing intent~"

A fury that he never felt before, now burst inside of him, "HOW DA—" He was so mad he couldn't say the sentences properly.

<Hellbent Revenge> If a dragon's fury is greater than usual and it's directed at a single entity, you'll be forced to exterminate it with all of your might (even if it kills you). You'll keep your control over your body and your stats will rise even higher. Failure to eliminate the one that angers you will be harsh, even for a being in the realm of gods.

Kyren didn't completely change into a dragon this time, but a humanoid version. The rage he was releasing was enough to be felt by a quarter of the Empire. Of course that didn't happen because the white room was specifically designed to suppress anything inside.

The little monster looked calm the whole time, despite the monster transforming in front of her.

When the humanoid dragon finally locked eyes with her, she paled at the True Killing Intent he dumped on her.

"HOW DARE YOU USE HER ON ME!!!!"

Her guard went up immediately and she blocked with her scythe from the front. But then a strike came from behind and she didn't even notice it. The dragon's fist or claw skewered through her back and outside her front like spear, making her cough up blood.

Her vision went black as he ripped through her inside like he was clawing at dirt.

Then she blinked and the humanoid monster was back in his spot as he hadn't attacked her yet.

'His True Killing Intent actually worked on me!?!'

It's been a couple millennia since she last felt the fear of blood lust and she couldn't say she liked it that much.

"Y-You pass! I've felt your True Kill—"

The dragon mutant instantly appeared before her and very slowly raised its right hand. The entire arm swelled up and bulged like the muscles were being forcefully stuffed.

She couldn't block, she couldn't even move! The fear she felt was absolutely suppressing her.

The claw came down excruciatingly slow as it approached her head. Even though she felt like everything was in slow motion, it wasn't. That was just how long the monster wanted to make her wait for her absolute death.

When the claw finally made contact, she was instantly flattened into a gory pancake and the entire room rocked as though a 8.0 earthquake was happening.

A couple seconds passed as he confirmed her death, his body slowly changed back. The compressed corpse gave him an odd delight. He practically felt giddy.

*Clap* *Clap *Clap*

He turned around to find the little monster as an adult version of herself standing behind him.

"You actually managed to kill her. You even made her feel your True Killing Intent despite the vast strength difference..... You passed with flying colors."

"How-"

"How am I still alive? There's two reasons, number one is that I'm a high-grade spirit who's been dead for thousands of years, you can't kill me again without a powerful soul wiping technique.

Two, that younger version of me was just me using Innocence of Death at an extreme level. You only killed an illusion your brain made to make me seem vulnerable."

"....." He couldn't be angry anymore because he was exhausted from over using his power and inner strength. His body was quivering, threatening to break as the pain was almost as bad as his evolution.

"That Apex Martial Artist spirit really wasn't lying when he boasted about you being a prodigy. I think you even became an Ace for this combat class."

".... Why her?"

She smiled gently for the first time in 21 long days, "What would you do if you truly had to kill her one day? You must be prepared to end her misery if she's suffering. Life sucks at giving people mercy, especially for the ones who can't do what you so bravely did."

"..... Thank you, I guess."

"Spirits aren't usually supposed to give their names to the living, but my name is Riza... if you get strong enough to summon me, I'll help you out where I can."

He laid down on his back as he stared at the ceiling.

"I can tell you love her a lot, so get stronger for her..... and with that, I've officially taught you everything of an Apex Reaper."

<Death Vortex> For each life you take, a little soul power will be absorbed by you for a limited time. Multiplier will last for 30 seconds unless you kill within that time, then it's stacked and the timer is reset. Depends on the victims strength on how strong the boost is. Maximum strength can only reach the first step of the Transcendent Realm.

{Active Aura Ability}

<Will of the Killed> Every soul you've killed will emit a small pressure through you. The more recent the kill, the more pressure you can emit.

{Description}

You've killed hundreds of thousands in a generally short amount of time and you feel nothing. The true God of Death smiles upon you as you slaughter and massacre, he is proud.

<Genuine Blood Lust> Killing Intent will no longer affect you in any shape or form. Only the strongest of True Killing Intents will work on you but even then, its affects are miniscule.

{Active Aura Ability}

<Future Death> If you choose, your killing intent will simulate a horrid death to the recipient in a split second. Cannot be used on those above the Transcendent Realm. They will entered a [Terrified] state that will freeze them for 5-10 seconds and cut their stats by 25%.

{Description}

You've reached the next level of blood lust and you cannot be compared to the children that call themselves "killers". Your very thought can cause a slaughter of unprecedented proportions.

<False Hope> When someone wishes to attack you and you want to catch them by surprise, then they'll simulate a false reality in their mind that you're being cocky or vulnerable, therefore leading them to their death. Cannot be used on those above the Transcendent Realm.

Make the opponent think your vulnerable and then give them the death they begged for. This is a unique aura that was invented by the high-grade spirit Riza after many millennium of research.

When she left through the gate, he immediately left for his apartment, slumping onto the couch after a hard twenty one days.

*Knock* *Knock*

Kyren woke up and opened the door. Standing on the other side was Rayna.

"*Sigh* I finally found the room."

She used her blood pact to locate him but she couldn't find the specific room.

When she looked into his pained and grief stricken eyes, she became worried, "What's wrong? Did something hap— Ahh!?!"

Kyren closed the door and pulled her into the room, giving her a deep hug. The scent of her hair lightly smelled like pie again, making him go into a trance as he continued to hold her.

"Let me hold you like this for just a little while longer."

She gently rubbed his back, trying to sooth the raging emotions in him. His shoulders got broader and more muscular over the past couple of days so she rubbed her cheek against them with a blushing face. Both of their hearts thumped loudly enough for the other to hear.

"I'll grow stronger for you..."

"And I you."

"I absolutely forbid you from sacrificing your life for me."

"But what if—"

"Never!"

"....."

"Ray?" He pulled her slightly away and looked into her eyes.

"Yes?"
