6 Chapter 6

A few hours passed when Hakai woke up. He was laying his bed, naked and with a blanket covering him.

Makino had already woken up and was downstairs at the bar, serving the customers.

Yawning, he opened up his quests and looked at his new daily quest. It was working out again, but this time the amount of reps he had to do for each exercise increased.

Now that he was free, he decided that this was a good time to do the daily quest and train his body even more since while his durability and strength were already high due to being a dragon, he could be way stronger if he trained.

He got up and went down on the floor, doing push-ups and later, his other exercises once he was done.

All in all, it took him an hour or two to finish the daily quest and just like last time, he recieved 10 Aether Coins bringing his count up to 165.

Wiping off his sweat, he looked out the window and saw that it was still bright out, but from the position of the sun, it was going to go down soon.

He put on his clothes and went downstairs, smiling at Makino and making her blush as he sat down at the counter.

"What can I get for you, sir?" She smiled at him.

"You, I want you. Come with me and join my crew. I think I'll call it 'The Dragon Pirates'." Hakai replied.

She was surprised by the sudden question and thought about it carefully. "I want to... but I have a job here and I'm already 29... do you really want someone like me in your crew?" She wanted to join his crew, but all her life, she only knew about this village, and she felt like she would only slow him down.

"Of course I do. Now, come on. Are you joining, or not?" Hakai smiled at her as he stretched out and offered his hand.

She smiled and took his hand. "I'll join, but give me a second to get ready. I'll have to get someone to manage the bar."

"Great, I'll help you." He stood up and followed her, helping her pack her stuff as he recieved a notification.

[Quest #2:] Create a Pirate Crew or join the Marines has been completed!

[Rewards:] 50 Aether Coins, Pirate Starter Kit

[Pirate Starter Kit has been sent to your [Quest Inventory] where you can claim it at any time]

As he was helping Makino pack her stuff, he opened up this quest inventory and it was just like an inventory only it was one-way meaning he could take out the stuff in it, but he can't store anything in the inventory unless it was sent there by the system.

'Tsk, so I'll really have to get that dimensional storage.'

Opening the [Pirate Starter Kit], new items appeared in the inventory.

[1,000 Belly]

[Compass]

[Map of the East Blue]

[Customizable Weapon (Ungraded)]

[Customizable Ship (Caravel)]

[Barrel of Food]

[Barrel of Freshwater]

(AN: A Caravel is the same class of ship that the Going Merry was. Ungraded weapon means it's not strong enough to be graded.)

The items that he had just gotten would definitely help his pirate journey, especially the free ship. He just had to hope that Makino knew how to somewhat navigate since he didn't know anything about navigating a ship.

The free weapon would also be useful, but in the future, Hakai was planning to forge his own weapon and put his [Supernatural Craftsmanship] to good use.

Maybe with some more practice, he could even create a sword that's on par with Mihawk's sword and Whitebeard's naginata.

Once Makino finished packing up her stuff that was really only filled with clothes and valuable stuff like her own Belly, she found someone that she trusted to manage the shop and be the new boss, at least until she came back.

"Finally, we're done, but how are we going to leave this island? Do you have a ship?" she asked, looking around the port.

"No, but give me a second," he replied.

Hakai opened up his quest inventory and took out the [Customizable Ship (Caravel)]. He wasn't the most artistic, or creative person, but the customizing process was weirdly intuitive and easy to do, so it didn't take long before he was done customizing the ship.

After hitting confirm, the ship appeared on the port like magic, appearing from thin air and scaring Makino.

"Is that our ship?" She looked at the ship in front of her, admiring it's design.

The ship had two sails, one big one in the middle and a smaller one at the back. On the sails was their crew's jolly roger which Hakai took his time with since this would be what represented them.

The jolly roger consisted of a dragon's skull with 2 long horns curving up and instead of bones through the skull, it was a pair of katanas.

On the front of the ship was a dragon with its wings spread out, acting as the figurehead of the ship.

The ship's main color scheme was black, and purple as the accent color, while the hull of the ship was designed to look similar to dragon scales with its scaled design.

"How did that suddenly appear?" Makino asked, looking around for any signs on how the ship showed up.

"Let's just say a dragon dropped it," he winked at her and grabbed her stuff, placing it on the ship.

Makino rolled her eyes, not believing that a dragon just dropped a ship, if they were even real...

As they got on the ship, Hakai placed her stuff in the captain's quarters, his room, since that was where she was going to stay anyway.

He also went into the storage room and took out the barrel of food and water out if his inventory, storing it in the room.

Going back up to the deck, Hakai saw Makino waving goodbyes to the people of the village.

"Goodbye everyone! I'll update you guys on Luffy's adventure if I see him!"

Once she was done saying her goodbyes, she went to Hakai.

"Is it fine to leave now? I mean the sun has gone down."

Hakai nodded as his eyes glowed in the night. "It's fine, I can see, but the problem is... I can't navigate..."
