Battle transfiguration. A very interesting concept, change the environment to your advantage. And while a lovely concept, surely we should start with something simpler than trying to turn a pile of mud into a living tree that attacks people. A great idea I admit and an attack I will undoubtedly use in the future, but it being the first thing we learn is a bit much.

But I can't say I wasn't happy when I managed to get a small weed looking thing with spikes along it that kept trying to grab at people. Well that was until I got reprimanded for doing it wrong and that I was going in the wrong direction. So after much trial and error I got a stick, a glorious stick a god was it not a god send when I reached that level. After that it was just doing it on a larger scale, which in hindsight, sounds a lot easier than it actually was.

Just think about trying to ram a monster truck made of water through a cat flap made of pure steel. The only trick I could come up with so far was to to spread the monster truck out so that it was just really long or spilt it into smaller monster trucks. I even thought about a trying to expand or add more cat flaps. But ultimately stayed away from that idea, I doubt it would end well. And so I was left with just adjusting my magic shape in my body. (Humans don't have mana circuits it freely moves around their bodies with little limitations)

So I have an idea, if most of my mana gathers at my heart. Let's envision that as a lake and my veins and bones and rivers branching off. Ant the start of each river is a beaver dam restricting the flow of the water, and with this system I can increase the speed of the river by further closing of the gaps creating a higher pressure meaning I've now got more magic going through a smaller space. So with this I took my high speed magic that was now rearing to go and let it loose through the cat flap (I never explained but the cat flap is his finger tip). Flying through i quickly imbued it with my intent while also taking a tiny bit of pure magic from Astarot through our link. It'll be fine. Famous last words ay.

"RUMBLE!!!!"

Out of the ground came a tree 10 meters wide and at least 200 tall. Last time I ever use even 0.001% of Astarots magic, that's him now. I fear the beast he will be when he is older. More importantly said tree was currently trying to destroy everything as I had ordered. But panic and pandemonium last but a few mere seconds before prof Thorin pulled a thor and smited the hell out of it until nothing but ash remained. While all this happened I took this chance to hid behind axels larger frame, you know, as a meat shiel..ehem I mean as a precaution.

"Alright which one of you dipshits did that?" Taking that as my cue to leave I turned around. But before I could take a single step i heard him speak again. "Are we going somewhere Emrys?"

"Not at all sir just looking around forrr er the, the perpetrator." I stutter out with beads of sweat forming on my brow as I can feel his gaze on my back. "I'm sure you were mr Emrys, but if you would be so kind as to present your arm to me, that would help me dearly." He says in a sickeningly kind tone, one that promises pain if I don't do as he says. "Yes sir." Is all I say presenting my arm to him. Holding my arm he checks my magic to see the last spell I performed and it's parameters.

I would love to finish this chapter but I really want to get this out and writing is both fun complicated and boring at the same time so I'll write the rest of this tomorrow delete this and replace it with the full thing but until then you get this
