Saint Hope Academy

The children that were able to pass the test in the city of the Blessed Sacrament were all gathered once again. This time they were standing under the large entrance gate that Saint Hope Academy. It looked like they were about to enter a mountain. Everyone there was sporting robes. So Zekith wasn't surprised that much because he himself was sporting a brand new set of robes courtesy of Sir Evergreen. That doesn't mean he wasn't surprised. When he noticed that all the students except Himself, Kinta, Raven and River had black robes. They were all sporting cream colored robes.

"Why are our robes different from everyone else?" Raven sighed...

"I was thinking the same thing." Kinta spoke.

River and Raven actually turned and looked at Kinta a little puzzled. Because they had both had tried to talk to Kinta on multiple occasions. And he's never once offered even an acknowledgement. But here they were. He was talking to them with provocation. They were so surprised. Kinta paid this no mind and continued to say his piece. "I think it has something to do with rank. But, that's only my best guess for now."

"Yeah I think you are on the right track. But, I think it has more to do with Mage Force specifically. Like once you reach a certain threshold your robes will reflect that." River agreed with Kinta and added his own thoughts.

"My aren't you two very astute. That is indeed how these robes work. In reality every academy robe is made from the same materials. Starting with black. Like these students over here." Lady Zed pointed to the students. "The next color is a cream neutral color. As you can see." Lady Zed gestured to the four of them. "They were designed to help the faculty identify the general power levels of the students. At certain check points within the fabric the styles will completely change. Plus, as your elemental affinity increases as does it influence on the robes." He eyes flashed as she raised her eyebrow in appraisal. "This is going to be a very interesting time for you students. How much will you be able to absorb?" Lady Zed said mysteriously while softly stroking her chin.

"How are you welcoming these new students?" Lady Alpine suddenly cut in. Startling the little group. "Ahh, Hmm!" She glared at Lady Zed.

"Alright, I'll take my leave. It was nice meeting you kids. I can tell that you will spice this place up nicely." Lady Zed laughed as she moved off to the side. "I'll see you kids around." Her parting words.

"Well..." Lady Alpine puffed. Before moving to the middle of the gate turned and faced everyone. "To all who are about to enter under these gates of Saint Hope Academy. Honor history and pave the way for the future." Her voice reverberated in everyone's head. Ringing in a very deliberate tone etching itself into your head on a subconscious level.

A flash of golden light illuminated from the gate. Clunk! Cling! Kaboom! The sound of very ancient and huge locks could be heard as the gate to Saint Hope Academy slowly opened. As the gates opened the whole landscape changed. They were originally at the base of one of the biggest mountains on Turtle Island. Now the image in front of them was of a gate lodged between two mountains that opened up to a vast secluded terra forma that was completely surrounded on all sides by mountains. This was Saint Hope Academy. Nobody had so much as moved an inch. This was one hell of a first impression for all the new students. Zekith was also struck by this beauty as well.

"We are going to the Assembly Hall. There you will be sorted into your Elemental Affinity Housing." Lady Alpine spoke in her soft and easy tone.

Upon walking through the gate itself. There was an immediate change to the atmosphere and temperature. Almost everyone of the kids had an intense expression change as they experienced it for the first time. A little strange facts is the elemental force has a uplifting effect. Even the little group of four was affected. As he was walking Zekith noticed that a light smile had creeped onto his face. Kinta didn't look as grumpy and River and Raven both had gentle smile on their faces. The path they were on was wide and could easily hold the hundred or so new students as they were heading to the Assembly Hall to get lodged into their Elemental Affinity Housing. They walked past a few huge halls, large academic buildings, quite a few battle areas and a grand library. To Zekith this place didn't seem real. Like this was a different reality. He had a hard time believing his own eyes. Then finally the reached the Assembly Hall.

This place felt somber and serious. A complete difference from earlier. This is a place of great ceremony. A place of clear importance. Zekith could feel power emanating from the very ground they were walking on. The building in front of him was dome shaped with no visible windows. The entrance is a set of stairs going down into the building. You would never see these stairs unless you walked up to the build. These stairs start a the dome itself. Its level to the building and followed it own design. Diving you into the building without disrupting its natural flow and connection to the building and surrounding earth.

Sir Evergreen was standing at the entrance waiting for the group. As he noticed the last few people enter and stop in the entry way. He began speaking. "In this world there are eight elements. The most common an well known are Earth, Wind, Fire and Water. There are other elements that are rarely seen. These elements are Light, Darkness, Lightening and Spirit element. In this place we call the Assembly Hall. We will allow you to view your own affinities. He pointed to a massive dome of Mage Force. Once inside you will see your own affinities. From there you can choose which affinity you want to live with. Yes, there are threshold requirements and confirmations that will tell you if you qualify to lodge with affinity you possess. You might just surprise yourself on what you choose. Now go. Go find a place to stay." He chuckled as he turned and pointed once again to the dome.

While listening to Sir Evergreen. Zekith took the time to get a good look at this building. First he noticed eight octagons windows on the ceiling and a matching set on the floor. This formed into a beautiful geometric flow in the building. There were runes and circles on the walls. Along these walls few rows of comfortable height staggered seats. Making it so everyone could see. Of course these chairs were presently filled by a bunch of people that he didn't know. In the center of this building there is a massive amount of converging Mage Force that created a dome. The shocking thing was how stable the converging energy was. Even allowing people to enter. Which seemed to be how you would get lodging. -This may cause issue for some if they don't match the affinity they were hoping for. "Hey Kinta, River, Raven. What do you think of this place so far? Its interesting right! It's a really interesting place! Huh?" Zekith ran through a few emotions while rapid firing his questions at everyone.
