Regulus was curious what changes this level up brought him. Immediately after, a status screen appeared in front of his eyes.

Regulus was surprised to see the increase in his stats.

Regulus was shocked.

[The host needs to gain Evolution Points(EP) to use the Saint Skill: Evolution Lv. 1.]

Alteria replied to Regulus.

"What is this Evolution skill anyway?"

Regulus asked in confusion.

[Confirmed: The host is stupid.]

Alteria's mocking voice sounded inside Regulus' head.

'Y-You! I know I'm a fish right now, but that doesn't mean that you can just pick on me!'

Regulus replied in anger.

[Then the host must evolve and prove that he is not stupid.]

Alteria replied to Regulus.

'Alright! Accept the mission! Bring it on!'

Regulus shouted inside his mind. He was pumped up after hearing Alteria's words.

[Mission accepted.]

'I'll show you.'

Regulus said to her. He then peeked out of the bundle of grass warily. He looked left and right. Once he was sure that there were no large fishes around, he swam out.

His eyes scanned around him, looking for his prey. Before long a small crayfish appeared in front of him. It was brown, and it was snipping on a blade of grass and eating it.

"Sorry, buddy. You'll be the sacrifice for me to prove my intelligence."

Regulus said to the crayfish in a not-so-sorry face.

The crayfish looked at Regulus before continuing what it was doing as if it didn't see Regulus as a threat.

"You're pretty bold for a crayfish."

Regulus grinned after seeing the crayfish let its guard down. It probably thought that Regulus was too small for it to be scared. After all, his size was unlike the adult trout from before.

"How do I even attack this guy?"

Regulus paused behind the crayfish. He was not big, nor did he have strong hands like in his previous life. He finally understood why the crayfish weren't afraid of him.

[Ding! The host can take his time.]

Alteria's voice suddenly sounded inside his head.

'Huh? What do you mean?'

Regulus asked her in puzzlement.

[The mission does not expire.]

Alteria replied.

'Oh! I see. Then I can focus on side missions?'

Regulus immediately realized what she meant. He remembered the side missions he can do besides the main missions in games.

[Ding! New side mission found.

Goal: Eat algae till you are full.

Reward: 1 EXP.

'A-Algae??'

Regulus was shocked.

[Would the host like to accept?]

Alteria repeated.

'Alright, alright! I accept. I'll eat algae…'

Regulus reluctantly agreed. Otherwise, he wouldn't be able to complete the mission and prove to her that he was not stupid.

[Side mission accepted.]

"Phew. Now, where do I find algae?"

Regulus sighed. He then looked around to find algae. He swam and swam, but the only things he found were grass, crayfish, and some trout that he avoided.

"Where do algae grow?"

Regulus pondered. As a fisherman, he knew that algae liked to grow on the sides of his boat and on a rock. He remembered slipping on a rock on the beach before because there were algae on it.

"There's no way there's a boat here, right?"

Regulus looked up at the top of the water warily. He doesn't know where he was. He doesn't even know what body of water he was in.

"There really… isn't one, ...right?"

Regulus thought that one would somehow appear when he said it, but it seems like he was just being too hopeful.

"I should stop hoping that I'll meet humans. They would probably eat me the instant they see me."

Regulus shook his hopeful thoughts out of his head.

He swam towards the shallow parts of this body of water. Before long, he found a small rock with green algae growing on it.

"*Gulp*. I wonder how it tastes."

Regulus prepared himself. He slowly touched it with his mouth and tasted it with his tongue.

"Euughhh!"

Regulus' face twisted in disgust. The algae were so slimy when they ran down his tongue.

"I… I would just think of this like eating an Okra(Ladies Finger)..."

Regulus closed his eyes and started biting the algae off the rock and eating it.

"*Munch* *Munch* Woah! It doesn't taste that bad."

Regulus was surprised. It was like he was just eating an Okra as the algae were also slimy.

Regulus continued eating the algae till he was full. Though, it didn't take that long with his small body.

Alteria's voice suddenly sounded inside Regulus' head.

'That's great!'

Regulus was overjoyed. That would mean that he can just eat algae, and he can level up! He can become the Legendary Algae Scrubber in this body of water, and he won't give a damn!

'Show me my level.'

Regulus said to her.

'Yes! We're making progress!'

Regulus was happy seeing that his EXP bar moved. It was like that addictive RPG that his cousin gave him.

Goal: Find a trout nest and eat the eggs till the host is full!

Hearing the new mission, Regulus' eyes shone in delight.
