92 Chapter 92

Nala POV.

Holding the Cursed Dragon ball in my hand, I open my storage space and put it inside before turning around and handing Goku and Vegeta a Senzu Bean. Once they swallowed the Senzu beans all the fatigue and injuries their body was inflicted with started to disperse before eventually disappearing altogether.

Goku-"I feel as good as new, thanks Nala."

Nala-"So with the fight now finished, does anyone have an idea what just happened?"

Piccolo-"I do."

Suddenly hearing Piccolo's voice, we all turn in the direction of where his voice came from and find him standing just above the area where Naturon died.

Vegeta-"Tsk, you sure took your time arriving."

Piccolo-"You guys seemed to have it under control, so I just stayed back to get more information from Kami, besides even if you needed help I was close by."

Nala-"What type of information did you receive from Kami?"

As Piccolo starts walking toward us, he answers my question.

Piccolo-"Every time someone makes a wish to the Dragon Balls they create something called negative energy that builds up within the Dragon Balls. Usually that wouldn't be a problem as when the Dragon Balls were created they were not well known, so they were given plenty of time to disperse the negative energy that was created per wish."

Slightly understanding what he was talking about, I gave my own analysis on the subject.

Nala-"But recently with Bulma creating the Dragon Radar and everyone else constantly making wishes, the negative energy created by them isn't given enough time to disperse so they continued accumulating. Right?"

Nodding at my analysis, Piccolo continues on from where I left off.

Piccolo-"Yes. So using all that accumulated Negative energy before it could no longer be contained, Kami created the Black Star Dragon Balls, or as he calls them the Cursed Dragon Balls. They are apparently much stronger than the original Dragon Balls, but as you guys already know whenever someone uses them, the planet where they were used on will explode in a year if they are not gathered in time."

Goku-"I just finished gathering them after 7 months so I understand that, but how does this correlate to Naturon?"

Piccolo-"You might not know, but when the Cursed Dragon Balls flew away they absorbed all of the original Dragon Balls, and by using the original Dragon Ball as a base, the Cursed Dragon Balls transferred all the accumulated negative energy into them. Allowing Each Cursed Dragon Ball to come to life and harvest more Negative energy, as that's the only way for them to continue existing."

Vegeta-"So in short, this is all our fault."

Goku-"That's what it sounds like."

Nala-"If that's all true then do you know why Naturon, who has used the seventh-star Dragon ball as a base, only dropped the Black star Dragon Ball, or why he claimed that he was the weakest one?"

Piccolo-"If I had to take a guess I would assume that we must defeat all 7 Cursed Dragon Balls to acquire the original Dragon Balls. As for the second question, I'm just as clueless as you."

When Piccolo finished talking we all went quiet, I started thinking trying to come up with any more theories from the information I'd just received, but I couldn't come up with much. But while I was in the middle of thinking about a plan, we suddenly heard another voice that we hadn't heard in a while.

Kaioshin-"I'm going to assume the battle has been finished?"

Looking behind us, we spot our old friend, the one and only Supreme Kai who is currently hiding behind a destroyed house while only peeking his head out from behind.

Goku-"Oh hey Supreme Kai, and the battle is over, but why have you come here?"

When Kaioshin hears Goku, he releases a sigh before walking out from behind the broken wall as he makes his way toward us.

Nala-"What are you doing here Kaioshin?"

Kaioshin-"Well as the Supreme Kai it's my job to keep the universe in relative balance, and when an absurd amount of Negative energy is suddenly born, It's my job to immediately get rid of something dangerous. But I'm not nearly strong enough to fight against that monster so I just waited till you guys defeated him before I showed myself."

Piccolo-"For you to come in person, Negative energy must be far more dangerous than we originally thought."

Kaioshin-"Yes it is. Negative energy exists everywhere, but in pathetically small amounts that not even I can sense. Of course every now and then small amounts of negative energy will combine allowing me to sense them and whenever I do I immediately destroy it, as Negative energy is dangerous enough to destroy the universe, especially if one is as powerful as the one you guys fought with. But at least you guys have managed to destroy it, so everything is fine now."

Once he finished informing us about Negative energy, he smiled knowing that the threat of negative energy has been defeated, but we didn't let him bask in victory for much.

Nala-"That isn't the only one we have to fight, there are still 6 more of them."

Vegeta-"And apparently the other 6 are far stronger than the one we just fought with."

Goku-"We also only have 24 hours before another one appears."

By the time we told Kaioshin everything, his face which was originally full of happiness has now become pale with an unsightly frown while sweat was forming on his head.

Kaioshin-"Y-Y-You're J-Joking R-Right!?"

Piccolo-"I wish we were."

Kaioshin-"We're all dead."

After accepting it, he becomes dejected and depressed while he squats down and starts drawing circles on the ground.

Nala-"Stop acting like that, and help in trying to beat the other 6!"

Kaioshin-"What's the point, I watched most of the fight and you guys barely managed to defeat the weakest one among the supposed 7."

Goku-"Well he still have some time left, we can always train and maybe get strong enough for the next enemy?"

Although Goku said that, he didn't seem to have much confidence in himself.

Vegeta-"Be realistic Kakarot, even if we trained for all 24 hours it wouldn't increase our power by much, let alone enough to defeat the other 6."

As we started talking among each other, we tried to figure out any plans that could help us in possibly defeating the other 6, but all the plans we came up with were unrealistic. Then that's when it hit me, we have someone who is millions of years old sitting just across from us, and I'll be damned if he doesn't have anything that could possibly help us.

Nala-"Hey Kaioshin, you've been alive for a long time, so I'm sure you must have some idea for us to defeat our enemies."

Kaioshin-"Haa, even if I've been alive for a long time I- Long time, long time. That's It!"

At first, he sounded dejected like before but halfway through talking he suddenly started repeating 'long time' before suddenly standing up and yelling in excitement.

Kaioshin-"Alright guys come with me, I have an idea!"
