{Hi it's the author here, back at it again after a 1 year break haha. Had some motivation to write a quick and short chapter. Anyway, thanks if you still kept this in you library and welcome to any new readers. Enjoy.}

"Zayn, how do you have a picture of dragon balls? In fact, how do you know of their existence?" Dr. Brief Asked Zayn with visible confusion on his.

Zayn was a man of many hobbies. He loved collecting and decorating his room with iconic pieces from several of his most beloved animes, and then posting pictures of his collection on social media. For instance, he has a set of Shurikens from 'Naruto', a swords collection from bleach, and a even huge figurine of the golden super dragon in his house that he pets and evens kisses on daily bases.

Anyway, The seven dragon balls were one of his collected items representing his love for the 'Dragon Ball' series; fortunately, a picture of them was still in his phone.

"As I expected, you also knew about them did you not Dr. Brief?" Zayn raised an eyebrow suspiciously.

"Young man, what are you talking about?" Replied the confused Dr. Brief

"No, what are YOU talking about Dr. Brief! Was it not your family who were the thieves that grabbed my ancestor's balls without permission?" Zayn Exclaimed loudly.

"hahaha, quite the funny youth you are. Yes, I do know of the dragon balls that you speak off, my daughter even went on a journey to search for them in last summer. Why? Are you perhaps also looking for them? You should speak to my daughter if you're interested."

"I see. Never mind my earlier actions, let's go back to business."

***************

Zayn sat in the guest room of the Brief's estate, enjoying a bowl of ice cream. He had just concluded his business negotiations with Bulma's father and was eager to speak with Bulma about the Dragon Balls. Without wasting any time, he presented her with a picture of seven Dragon Balls on his phone.

After some hesitation, Bulma asked him while slightly confused and worried by the unexpected rise of this topic, "Have you ever collected the Dragon Balls before? One of the Dragon Balls has been in our basement until I went on a trip to find the rest. Did you perhaps collect them recently?"

Bulma was taken aback by the unexpected topic and felt both confused and worried. She recalled the time when she had collected all seven Dragon Balls with Goku and had witnessed the destructive power that the Dragon Balls could unleash if they fell into the wrong hands. This was precisely why in the original Dragon ball series, she had decided not to make a wish for herself, but to let Goku make the wish to revive a friend instead. As he had helped her collect the Dragon Balls and defeat Emperor Pilaf, who was planning to misuse the Dragon Balls for his own gain.

Now, a stranger was showing her a picture of all seven Dragon Balls, and she couldn't help but ask him about it.

"No, I have never gathered the dragon balls before, but this is exactly why I originally wanted to visit your family here, besides selling my technology, of course. Regardless of that, let me tell you my objective directly Bulma." Zayn said, while beginning his Oscar worthy acting performance

Zayn sat nervously on the couch, pretending to be anxious and fidgeting with his phone. Zayn looked as if he hesitated for a moment before opening his mouth.

"I need your help finding the dragon balls."

Bulma's eyes widened in surprise. "Why do you need the Dragon Balls?"

"It's personal," Zayn replied cryptically. "Let's just say that I have a mission to fulfill, and the Dragon Balls can help me achieve it.".

Bulma was intrigued but also cautious. "Could you at least tell me a little, I can't do anything for you if you're being like this."

Zayn looked toward her, a hint of sadness in his eyes.

"It's something that will help fulfill a wish of my dead father," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "I promised him that I would do whatever it takes to make it happen." Zayn once again, started milking the fake sob story of his daddy.

Zayn went on to explain how his father had spent his life searching for the Dragon Balls in the hopes of making a wish that would change the world for the better. When Zayn's father passed away, he inherited his father's mission and made it his own. He had been searching for the Dragon Balls ever since, hoping to fulfill his father's dream.

Slowly but surely, Zayn was able to earn Bulma's trust.

Bulma's expression softened. "I understand," she said gently. "But finding the Dragon Balls is no easy feat. I know that one of the dragon balls, the four-star dragon ball, is currently with a friend. He lives nearby the Southeast Mountains of the countryside…" Bulma began unknowingly trusting Zayn's intentions and began helping him.

Zayn nodded appreciatively. "Thank you for the information, Bulma. I'll start my search from there," he said, standing up from the couch. "I appreciate your help."

Bulma smiled kindly, but her expression suddenly changed as her phone rang loudly.

*Ring*

*Ring*

"Excuse me for a moment," she said, taking a deep breath to calm herself before answering the call.

Zayn watched as Bulma's demeanor shifted dramatically. "YAMCHA, YOU CHEATING BASTARD! It's been a whole week! And you only remembered to call your girlfriend back now!?" she yelled into the phone; her anger evident. Zayn looked speechlessly at the girl, whom moments ago was acting all mature and wise while giving him advice, now turning into an angry mess.

Zayn decided he has better things to do than watch her interact with a character made for comic relief purposes. Poor Yamcha.

Zayn turned to leave through the room's door and while silently showing gratitude to the distracted Bulma, before heading out with the dragon radar in his hand.

As he walked away from the Brief's estate, he felt a sense of excitement mixed with trepidation of the unknown.

"That wasn't too hard." Zayn absentmindedly thought as he passed through the dim lighted streets.
