10 Chapter 10: First meeting...

It had now been two weeks since Vocada's fight with one of the Vubrothian warriors that had a power level of 300. Of course, their battle had not gone unnoticed by the Vubrothian kingdom, not taking them long to know what had happened.

"I will not stand for this. That thing has to be dealt with!" The King yelled as he slammed his fist down onto the armrest of his chair.

The Prince was also with his father, standing by his side as he agreed with his words.

"That little bastard will pay for what he did to me!" The Prince suddenly yelled, having recovered from his wounds after his last fight with Vocada.

The hall was filled with the strongest Vubrothians on the planet, with all kinds of snake-looking aliens standing around wearing armour and other kinds of clothing.

Suddenly, a smaller Vubrothian walked forward, getting the attention of all of the others, not having even said a word yet as everyone in the room went quiet for him.

"If this being was able to defeat two of my strongest students. Then it is time that I faced this evil myself." The small snake said.

"M-Mater... You would really fight him yourself, surely there is no need for you to go.Allow me to fight him again, this time I will not lose." The Prince said, seeming shocked at the smaller snake's words.

"No. Your training is still far from complete my Prince. I must be the one to face this enemy before it gets even stronger." He said, having seen the result of Vocada's last battle with his own eyes.

The King leaned back in his chair, resting his chin on one of his fists.

"I have no doubt in your abilities, Master Python. And I would gladly see it done that you handle this threat yourself." The King said, nodding his head to the smaller snake.

"Yes. I guess it is finally time that I see this monster with my own eyes." He then said, hissing a little as he said it.

"Allow me to go with you, Master." The Prince said, still wanting another crack at Vocada.

"Not this time my boy. You are to remain here in the capital and continue with your training." Master Python said.

"Y-Yes master." The Prince said, respecting the old snake's wishes.

"I will see to it that this enemy is eliminated once and for all."

More time had passed for Vocada, who now found himself sitting cross-legged while floating in the air as he focused on his Ki control training. He was covered in sweat while he allowed four Ki orbs to float around his body, making sure to keep his concentration fixed on all of them at the same time.

Vocada had been at this for a full hour now, feeling the intensity of it getting to him before he opened his eyes and willed the Ki to fly forward toward a tree.

"Now!" Voacada yelled, watching as the Ki blasts circled around the tree and flew back toward him, smashing into his body as he tensed his muscles in order to take the attack.

The Ki blasts exploded against Vocada's body, creating dust and smoke to kick up. However, Vocada stepped out of the dust and walked over to the lagoon before he scooped some of the yellow water and took a drink.

"Arrr... Man, that was tough." He said, drinking a little more to keep himself hydrated, bringing his display screen up once he was done.

Vocada had spent more time training during his recovery after the last battle against the Vubrothian warrior, earning himself another level up and a boost to his power level.

Still, Vocada wasn't satisfied yet knowing that there were still warriors here that would be stronger than him, remembering the technique that the Vubrothian warrior and the Prince had used to power up.

He had also come to the conclusion that they must have been taught how to use that technique by someone. And whoever it was would most likely be able to use it much more effectively than they could.

"I still have a long way to go," Vocada said, thinking about the hellish training that both Goku and Vegeta had to endure before they had eventually unlocked Super Saiyan.

"Now there is something to dream about," Vocada said to himself, almost laughing at how crazy it sounded to him.

"I wonder if I will be able to become a super Saiyan one day..." He then said once he stopped laughing, looking at his hands while making a fist.

Vocada soon pushed the thought aside and turned around as he headed back to his shelter, looking at the scouter he had placed on a rock for safekeeping while he had been training.

Vocada had come up with another plan, wondering that if he attacked a few more villages, he might be able to draw some more warriors out of the city, hoping they would fall for the same trick twice.

Still, for now, he was more than happy to hide out and continue his training, knowing that so far no one on this planet had been able to sense his energy, meaning he was safe from detection.

Now that he had finished his training for the day, Vocada had decided he would head out to the sea, wanting to take a dip in the water and cool off. He had done this many times before as he flew over to a nice-looking area that was hidden between some rocky formations.

The seawater here also had a very high salt concentration, meaning he could float in the water with next to no effort, making it very relaxing for his mind and body.

Vocada landed on the beach by the yellow ocean and stripped off, placing his clothing and scouter down onto the sand before he walked into the water, laying on his back as he floated in the cool ocean.

The temperature was like a lukewarm bath, but it was still cooler than standing in the sunlight, meaning it did the job for what Vocada was looking for.

"I guess it's not all bad..." He said to himself, feeling his muscles relax as he felt weightless in the water, closing his eyes as he enjoyed the peace and quiet, with nothing but the sound of the waves in the background, helping provide tranquillity for him.

Once he was done he swam back over to the shore and walked back over to his clothing, thanks to the heat of both sun's he was pretty much dry already too, being an added bonus.

Still, Vocada knew that once it got dark he had to take shelter or get a fire going to keep warm and avoid the freezing temperatures that followed once the sun's set, making it a double-edged sword.

Vocada flew back to his little hideout he had started to make, having been taking the time to build it over the days and weeks he had been training.

Having found a nice little spot in a valley of rocky formations filled with Hoodoos and caves. Vocada had found one that looked pretty sturdy, also having a good vantage point since it was so high up, meaning no one would be able to stumble across him while he was sleeping or anything like that.

Vocada had gathered the materials he could find slowly over time, transporting what he could carry. Soon enough he had collected enough wood from the trees he found around the desert to build himself a small hut for one, complete with a sand stove he had come up with so that he could light fires inside to keep him warm and not burn the place down.

All in all, Vocada's little life on this rock was starting to come together, seeing that he now had a place to call home once he was finished for the day. The only thing he really had to worry about each day was finding enough food to keep him satisfied and recover from his training.

Other than that, he only had the locals who were still hunting him, sending scouting parties out as they tried to find any sign of where he might be staying or hiding, which was something he wasn't all that worried about considering their weak power levels.

Another few days passed by as Vocada continued his training, working on his strength and speed, taking advantage of the large rocky terrain he was now staying in, being able to use the large weights to his advantage to strengthen his muscles and body.

"197...198...199...200!" Vocada yelled, having just completed 200 handstand press-ups while balancing a large rock on his feet to increase the weight on his body before he kicked it off and flipped back to his feet.

"Damn... The things I can do with my body still amaze me, and it is still only the body of a child." Vocada said as he flexed his small bicep, feeling his Saiyan blood pumping around his body and making his muscles hard as rocks.

If he recalled correctly, his power level was now around the same as Goku's had been when he had battled with his brother Raditz, if not a little stronger.

"I wonder... Just how strong can I become in this universe?" Vocada asked himself, deep in thought.

"Having fun I see..." A voice suddenly said, having a hissing sound to it.

Vocada was shocked that he hadn't seen or heard anything approaching his location, cursing himself for not wearing his scouter while training as he turned around in a defensive position to see who it was.

Vocada could see an older and smaller-looking Vubrothian standing before him, surprised at his appearance as he looked the creature up and down.

"I finally found you. You certainly do move around a lot." The Vubrothian said, observing Vocada so he could get a good look at him.

Who the hell is this guy... Vocada asked himself not knowing how he had found him.

Vocada slowly looked at his scouter while also keeping an eye on the Vubrothian standing before him.

With a quick burst of energy, Vocada grabbed his scouter and gained some distance between the two of them, quickly clipping his scouter onto his ear before he pressed the button on the side.

Beep...

200... Who the hell does this old geezer think he is?" Vocada said, looking at the numbers that his scouter was displaying, still have an uneasy feeling.

"Hmm... What strange looking glasses." The old Vubrothian said, not sure what or why Vocada would rush to get it so badly.

"Still, I have come here to kill you, so I guess it doesn't matter all that much." He suddenly said, shrugging his shoulders before he seemed to disappear, causing Vocada to gasp before his eyes adjusted to the speed of his movements.

At the last second, Vocada was able to lean back and avoid a flat knife hand attack that had been aimed at his face, watching as the old Vubrothian warrior's fingernails were but an eyelash away from his face.

"Oh my... You were able to see that?" The old warrior said, impressed as he watched Vocada flip backwards and get back into a fighting position.

Vocada could see the numbers on his scouter increase from 200 to 430 in the blink of an eye.

So he can control his power level... Vocada thought as he watched the old bastard carefully.

I bet that also means he can sense power levels too. Vocada reasoned.

"I think I'm going to enjoy this fight." The old Vubrothian said before he pulled off the monk-style robe he had been wearing, revealing a body that was extremely well-built and toned.

"It's been a while since I was able to let loose after all."

Beep...

The scouter was still locked onto the Vubrothian while it read his power level, causing Vocada to watch as the numbers continued to rise, finally capping out at 470

"So, you are the one... The one with the strongest power level on this planet." Vocada said, knowing that this was the one he had been training for.

"We may not understand one another words, but I am sure you can understand my intent." The old snake said, taking a strange fighting stance with his body.

"Time to see just how much of a monster you are, child."
