27 Strong against Weak, Strong against Strong

"Goku. Do you think you can win?" Krillin asked.

"That power. I don't think I can beat him." Goku said to Krillin.

"Huh?" Krillin questioned Goku.

"!!!!!" ChiChi who was with Goku was also shocked by Goku's words.

"When Yamcha's new attack was revealed I thought that that was it. Yamcha is going to win just because I thought that the amount of power that Yamcha out in his attack was powerful enough to harm even me." Goku said to Krillin.

"But it did nothing to him. Dai was it? I knew that he could beat me ten out of ten times if we had to fight." Goku said to Krillin.

"But I don't want to give up. I still want to test the power that I currently possess against him to see how far I still have to aim." Goku said with a smile on his face.

"Your optimism when it comes to fighting is something else. If it was me I would just be disappointed with my progress," Krillin said to Goku.

"Hehe." Goku smiled.

"Don't worry Goku san. I will still love you as I always have even if you lose the tournament." ChiChi said as she held one of Goku's arms tightly.

"You know I am jealous of you right now," Krillin said to Goku.

At the audience stands, Yamcha arrives at the place where his friends are after getting his medical check-up.

"I am sorry. Although I claimed that I would become stronger I still let everyone down." Yamcha said Bulma, master roshi, launch and oolong.

"You fought well." Master Roshi said to Yamcha.

"That what's you get for leaving me alone," Bulma said to Yamcha.

But when she saw the depressed look of Yamcha she was a little sad. She should be feeling angry but she couldn't because she understood what Yamcha was going through.

"That bastard," Bulma said to herself as he remembered seeing Dai's arrogant appearance on the stage when he was taunting and humiliating Yamcha.

Before the semi-final match between Goku vs. Tien and Dai vs. Ma Junior started the fighters were given a few hours to rest and relax.

This break before the semi-final matches was implemented because in the past a powerful fighter almost missed a put-on fight because he fell asleep after a meal.

Now Dai was having a meal at the preparation arena not knowing that a woman was approaching him.

"Hey, you." the woman called out.

"Huh?" Dai looked at the woman, and he saw the face of the woman that he had seen before and was caught off guard.

And then he got a slap in the face by the woman who approached him.

It was Bulma Briefs.

"What the hell do you want?" Dai asked Bulma as he looked directly at her and immediately stopped eating.

"Why did you have to go that far? You could just beat him up and break all the bones in his body instead of breaking his dreams." Bulma said to Dai.

"...." Dai ignored her and continued to eat.

"Tch. For someone with a great face, you sure got an evil heart." Bulma said as she left while storming off.

"What a weird woman?" Dai said as he continued to eat to restore the energy that he might have lost from the fight with Shen to be fully prepared for his fight with Piccolo.

He doesn't consider Bulma a threat so he didn't harm her because he had no reason to.

Harming her might even cause him to be disqualified from the tournament as he knew someone as weak as Bulma might die from one Kiai.

He didn't think that he even lost energy when fighting against Yamcha but he still wanted to be fully prepared when fighting against someone who could defeat him in his base form.

He was a warrior. He was arrogant toward Yamcha because he perceived Yamcha as a weak warrior(Weak in terms of strength).

But he will become extremely cautious against fighters that he perceived to be on par or at least near the same level as him such as Goku, Piccolo and Shen.

It was a kind of arrogance that was hard to get punished by righteous martial artists.

It is because the weakness that was created when someone became arrogant such as giving away openings and not utilizing all the advantages that he was given was hard to find and started to disappear as soon as Dai was able to evaluate the threat level of his opponent.

"Ma Junior. I wonder if he is as strong as the old man from the preliminary." Dai said as he continued his meal.

"Amazing. He has eaten enough food to the point that the cost of the food has now even exceeded the prize money." One of the staff said to himself as he looked at the way Dai was eating.
