"Hahaha! Fun! This novel is fantastic! The author is truly a genius," Pedri exclaimed as he sat in his room reading one of his favorite web novels. He was thoroughly enjoying the reactions of the characters in the novel, which was based on his favorite manga series, One Piece.
Pedri was a fan of many manga series, including Dragonball, Naruto, Fairy Tail, Bleach, and Hunter X Hunter but One Piece was his absolute favorite. He had originally found solace in the manga after feeling overwhelmed by the saturation in the world of animes, but after this stage of manga, he discovered web novels, then discovered the joy of fanfic novels.
This particular fanfic about One Piece had quickly become an essential part of his daily routine. He felt empty if he didn't read it, despite the fact that it was not a novel in the traditional sense, with thrilling and dramatic events. Instead, it had a light and fun character that retells the legendary events from the manga while incorporating random reactions from various story characters.
As a dedicated reader of fanfic novels and an admirer of the original manga, Pedri kept a diary where he would jot down notes about the chapters he read. He aspired to become a great author himself and was eager to experience the joy of creating a world with his own hands. After finishing the day's chapter, which was short but interesting as he had expected from a talented writer, Pedri left his phone aside and stood up from his bed while stretching. Suddenly, a strange anomaly occurred that went unnoticed. A dark shadow appeared under his phone and swallowed it, but in less than a second, a similar phone appeared from the shadow and replaced the original one.
It was 10 a.m. in Spain and Pedri had just woken up, eager to read the new chapter of his favorite novel.
He opened the curtains to let in the morning sun but was disappointed to find that the sky was cloudy. "Oh, it looks like it's going to rain... Well, I won't be going out today," he thought, content to stay in bed and find another novel to pass the time.
