Tournament Part 8

Jackie Chun got up from the crater and backed away from Goku. Even though he executed a move capable of rendering any of his previous opponents dead, he wasn't confident it would work on Goku. And he was right. Goku, who thought he was hurt, now stood inside the crater, staring at Jackie with rage in his eyes.

Now, he knows how it feels to fall headfirst into concrete from 20 ft high in the air. Yet, that wasn't something to be happy about.

"Goku is still on his feet!!!"

Goku got out of the crater and looked down at his shirt, slightly torn but still wearable. He then raised his eyes towards Jackie again; this time, they were much fiercer.

He disappeared from his original spot, catching Jackie and the crowd by surprise. Normally, he'd have to show movement before moving that fast, but Goku did it so quickly it wasn't visible. He appeared in front of Jackie with his hands closed; he hammered him in the head, sending him crashing into the ground.

* Boom *

The only thing the crowd could see was the arena getting destroyed.

Goku was about to slam his foot on Jackie's head, but Jackie spun on the floor, kicking him off his feet. Goku landed in his hands and did a backflip. Jackie appeared in front of him and smacked his face, sending him flying into the arena wall.

* Booom *

He fell down, and so did some of the audience. Goku leaped out and landed in front of Jackie, hitting him in the gut.

* Spleh *

Saliva came out of his mouth as the punch hit him really hard. Jackie frowned and took Goku's head and brought it down to his knee. The knee hit Goku right on his nose; he wasn't going to lie; this hurt more than anything. He felt the pain all the way to the back of his head; that's how much it hurt. Goku grabbed Jackie's legs and picked him off the ground; he spun him around at quick speeds then laughed, slamming him against the wall just to show him how annoying it was to get thrown into a wall. Goku then came over with a giant leap and landed right on his chest; he hammered his face with his fists.

* Crack *

Jackie broke his nose, which was now twisted. He looked at Goku with death written all over his eyes; he honestly didn't like it when his emotions got the best of him, so he hurriedly calmed down. He took Goku by his leg and landed him on his side.

* Bang *

Jackie then got up and threw Goku high into the air; he followed him, and when he reached Goku, Jackie punched him in the gut, sending him even higher. He continued to punch him like this until they got high into the clouds. As Jackie was about to punch Goku, he took his hand and spun him around, then threw him straight to the ground, with him following with his feet aimed at his head.

* SiiiiiiiBooooom *

Jackie crashed into the ground with a great impact.

'My whole body hurts,' he thought as he looked at Goku, who descended onto him. He moved his head out of the way, but Goku simply changed his position into a horizontal one and elbowed Jackie in the gut.

* Puffff *

"Arghhhh!!" Jackie screamed in pain.

Goku got up and backed up to his side. People could now see the two and were very shocked when they saw Jackie laying on the ground.

"Jackie is down!!"

- Woah!!!

- Can't believe that kid actually did it!!

"Hooray, Goku!!!" Bulma and the gang cheered loudly as they saw him stand there like a boss. Goku wasn't smiling; however, showing that the fight wasn't over.

When the announcer was about to count, Jackie hopped to his feet and dusted his clothes.

"You are very strong, kid, but our fight hasn't ended yet," he said as he got into his fighting stance. Goku smirked and did the same.

"I knew that you weren't done. Now let's continue," Goku said.

'Goku is clearly not human; no man is that happy in a fight that could lead to their death. He knows very well that the attack from before could've killed, yet he's not the least bothered by that; instead, he looks even more excited by that,' he thought.

Jackie Chun rolled his sleeves up and spread his arms out at Goku. His hands slowly began to glow as a yellow aura surrounded them. The sound of lightning crackling filled the arena as the light got brighter and brighter. Goku smirked when he saw this, understanding what they were about to use on him.

"Bankoku Bikku Rishouuuu!!!" he shouted as the bolt of lightning flew at Goku at fast speeds.

Goku could not even dream of dodging this attack; it was much faster than he could ever comprehend. It made contact with him, and he instantly began to feel as if his whole body was being electrocuted from inside and out.

"Ahh!!" Goku screamed; he began to float as the attack raised him from the ground.

"Such power!! I've never seen such a thing before in this tournament," the announcer said.

Everyone in the crowd stared at this with widened eyes; they thought things like these only happened on TV, but now seeing it in front of their eyes, they couldn't believe it.

'I can feel myself getting stronger; I guess now it's time to get out of this,' he thought. He closed his eyes as he focused all his Ki into his body strength. He flexed them.

* Pangg! *

He broke free from the attack and fell down to the ground.

"Son Goku has broken out the lightning attack!!"

He was on his knees as he breathed heavily; it took a lot of energy to move his Ki around his whole body in a second; he looked up at Jackie who had a smile on his face.

"I'm impressed, but I'm afraid this is the end, young warrior," he said as he blitzed, kicking Goku in the face, sending him flying out.

"*Gasp* Goku!!!" His friends shouted in panic.
