24 Sparring With Karl

The flying nimbus landed in front of the Capsule Corporation building and Goku jumped off, waving the orange cloud off.

"Goku, It's been such a long time since I've seen you, You've grown quite tall and handsome," Mrs. Briefs commented as she saw the black haired Saiyan.

Goku blushed a bit, today he wasn't wearing his Turtle school GI. He was simply wearing a black shirt and brown trousers, According to Chi-chi, He had to look a bit respectable before going to see rich people like the Briefs.

Goku found Dr. Briefs in his lab and he greeted the old man in his normal way.

"Yo!"

"Oh, Goku. It's you," Dr. Briefs said, "I was just continuing my work for a certain somebody that came to drop off a Starship some months ago,"

:Okay... Hey, That's what I came to ask about, Piccolo said a guy with shoulder-length hair and green eyes came over with a Spaceship... I heard he's a really nice fighter and I wanted to fight him too," Goku said, his eyes wide and a smile crossing his face.

"I don't really know when he's coming," Dr. Briefs said, "He didn't really utter a date or a time, He just said he would come back when he has time,"

Goku's expression turned deflated but that frown was turned upside down when the door was opened and a visitor stepped in.

"Shoulder-length hair..."

"Green eyes..."

"A Tail..."

Dr. Briefs sighed.

"So it really is you," Dr. Briefs said, "My friend, Mr. Goku was just asking about you,"

"Oh by the way, I'm Karl," Karl said with a slight wave, his smile making the old man's heart feel warm.

"Okay, So for the starship... I have sucessfully installed a Capsule chip on the Starship although the integration for it to fully become a Capsule will be slow," Dr. Briefs said, "And it was your personal request to have the starship itself become a Capsule, not for us to put it in a Capsule,"

"Yes..." Karl nodded.

"So it might be done in another month or two- The integration process would be complete then," Dr. Briefs said.

"Alright, Thank you," Karl said with a bow and turned to Goku, "You wanted to see me?"

To Goku, He couldn't believe the shorter younger man was more powerful than even him and Piccolo. He could clearly see that the young man was at least 17 or 18 but the power coming from him was nothing short of astounding.

"Yes," Goku said, "I want to have a fight with you,"

"A Spar, huh? Alright let me check my schedule," Karl said and produced a list from his pocket, "Training with King Kai... Training with King Kai... Washing the Dishes... Washing the car..."

"Alright, I'm free," Karl said and stuffed the paper back into his pocket, "Now for the fight, I hope you're strong,"

Goku and Karl stood on rocky towers in a desert area, similar to the one Goku and Vegeta fought in.

"Piccolo's been telling me about how strong you are and I'm really curious about your strength," Goku said.

"Although I've not heard about you, I assume you're strong," Karl said and grinned, "Besides, Your power suggests you've been training hard,"

Goku smiled and rubbed the back of his head.

"Y- Yeah, I've been training hard," Goku said.

Karl shot his Power level up to 1200, to the power that Raditz used to battle Goku to at least test Goku out.

Goku felt the air around the Young saiyan change, it became even more stronger and a light green KI shrouded his entire figure covering him in some sort of armor.

"Let's go!" Karl shouted out and caught Goku with his Telekinesis, pushing Goku toward him.

Goku found himself heading straight to Karl but the movement was not of his own doing, No he was controlled into doing it. He narrowed his eyes at Karl but was met with a Punch to the face.

The Punch knocked the wind out of Goku who hit the ground in the following second and coughed up blood.

"That's not bad," Goku said and then sprung off the ground and stood.

"Some people would have been knocked out with a single punch but I guess you're more powerful than other people," Karl said with a shrug.

Goku took his turtle school stance and smiled.

"You really are strong," Goku said, "But I don't appreciate you holding out on me,"

Goku shot forward, the ground cracking under him as he threw a kick forward, one that was dodged easily by Karl who pulled back quickly.

Goku tried to steady himself to get a good attack in but Karl had vanished, his KI suddenly flaring right behind the older Saiyan, a power to behold.

The rushing green aura flaring in all directions, like one of a monster...
