Oolong the Shapeshifter(Part 1)

"This place seems kind of deserted," Bulma said as she stopped the bike that she was riding.

"..." Goku sensed the presence of other people apart from him and Bulma but he didn't say anything to her.

I only need to keep her alive. I don't need to meddle in her affairs. Goku thought.

"If there is no one around in this village let's look around," Bulma said to Goku.

Goku nodded.

Bulma walked around the village with the dragon radar in her hand and Goku followed her.

"It's this house," Bulma said as she stood in front of a house.

"Baamm." Before Bulma entered the house they heard a very loud noise from a nearby house.

"What is that?" Bulma said as she stopped herself from entering the house that seemed to have the dragon ball and went towards the place where the noise came from.

"It's locked," Bulma said as she tried to open the door.

"Ah. It's open." She opened the door of the house where the noise came from.

As soon as she opened the door she saw a man come running towards her while holding an axe.

"I will not let you have her." He yelled out.

She ducked immediately as she saw the man.

She would run if she could.

But fear and shock temporarily took over her and her leg froze and she was unable to run away.

So she had to duck instead.

I cannot let her die. I still have to get the money from her. Goku thought as he grabbed the power pole that he was carrying on his back and used it to block the man's axe.

The axe shattered as it made contact with the power pole at a very high speed.

Goku smiled as he looked at the man.

"!!!." The man looked shocked.

Goku then kicks the man in the stomach and makes him fall to the ground.

"Hands off the girl," Goku said as he stared at the man.

If Bulma heard those cheesy words under normal conditions she would laugh.

But right now those words seem like they came from an angel.

"Please. Please forgive me, Oolong sama. I was ignorant. You could kill me if you want but just let my daughter go." The man said.

He seems to be in pain because of Goku's kick but he is still pleading.

He is an old man that has a slim build meaning he has no muscles or fat.

He was a regular old man who looked like he had trouble just walking around.

"Oolong?" Bulma asked as she realised the man seemed to be misunderstanding something.

"Daddy. Are you okay?" A small girl appeared as she ran towards the old man to check on him.

"Please. You can take food, money or anything that you want. Just please spare her." The old man said to Goku and Bulma.

She looked at the old man.

"Look at my face carefully. I don't know who Oolong is but I don't think that he is going to be as pretty as me, a kind-hearted beautiful girl." Bulma said.

"By the way, Who is the oolong that you are talking about?" Bulma asked.

Goku put his power pole back on his back after determining that there was no danger currently.

"That means you are not Oolong?" The old man asked Bulma and Goku.

"Of course not." She said.

The man welcomed them into the house after that.

"Sorry about that. I thought you were Oolong." The man said as he scratched his head while smiling.

"Do you want green tea? Or do you want something like juice or coffee?" The girl asked Bulma and Goku.

"I will have a glass of juice," Bulma said.

"Coffee," Goku replied.

"I thought you didn't like coffee," Bulma said to Goku.

Goku didn't reply to her.

"So who was Oolong exactly?" Bulma asked.

"From the way that you are planning to welcome him, he didn't seem like a good person."

Bulma was interested. After all, she was almost killed indirectly because of this so-called Oolong.

"He is a fearsome shape-shifting monster who lives in this area. The truth is that yesterday oolong came to the village in the form of an Oni. He demanded my daughter. Saying that he is going to make her his bride."

The old man explained.

"He is a real pervert. He has already taken numerous number of girls from the village. And he says if they try to run away or fight back he is going to eat all of us." The old man said.

"Sounds like a bothersome thing," Goku commented.

"Hmmm." Bulma seems to be thinking of something as she puts her hand on her chin.

"Here is the coffee for you." The girl said as she put a cup of coffee near Goku.

"And here is the juice for you." The girl said as she handed the juice cup to Bulma.

"Thanks," Bulma said.

"Sorry about not being able to treat you other than drinks. Since Oolong started to appear around here our work started to get slowed down." The old man said.

"It's bitter," Goku said as he slowly sips the hot coffee.

"You see we are here because we are looking for the things called the dragon balls," Bulma said.

"If we can take care of Oolong can you help us get the other dragon ball that is in the village?" Bulma said.

"Sure. If you get rid of Oolong and help me protect my daughter I will do my best to help you get anything you want." The old man said.

The old man had never seen the dragon ball before but he decided to ask for Bulma's help.

This was because he didn't want to lose his daughter.

And he was genuine when he said he would do anything to help Bulma get anything that she wanted from the village if she could save his daughter.

"We?" Goku said while looking at Bulma.

He noticed that Bulma was planning to use him to get rid of Oolong so that she could get the dragon ball.
