57 A Legend Come To Life

Lila and I suddenly find ourselves in a large, spacious, and dark cave, which was barely being illuminated by the light coming from the outside. Walking out of the ship, we could see that there were a few unlit lights on the ceiling of the cave that I had installed a couple months back.

Turning on the lights revealed that the floor of the cave was covered in a soft grayish animal fur, except for the area surrounding the ship, as there was no need.

"What... is this place?" Lila asked as she peeked out of the cave and looked around at our surroundings.

The sky above was shrouded in darkness, the sounds of purple lightning echoed overhead as they struck a multitude of times.

"Welcome to Apophis." I announced, spreading my arms out dramatically as I stepped outside.

This was another planet I owned.

The Dark Planet, or Apophis, as I named it after gaining ownership.

This was the planet that appeared in the "Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans" side story. The one with Dr. Lychee and Hatchiyack.

I discovered this planet's existence about a year or two ago, after Cooler struck me down into the Planet's surface. Ever since then, I would come here every once in a while, discovering and eventually inhabiting that cave.

As time went on, I made it more and more livable, using the leftover resources from our planetary missions or just requesting items through the Cooler Force's requisition system.

Seeing as how the things I would request weren't anything outrageous or expensive, Cooler never really questioned it.

Apophis is in a state of almost permanent darkness thanks to the giant gas clouds in the atmosphere. The purple lightning was also a side effect from the gas clouds, which makes it very difficult to actually enter and leave the planet without losing your ship in the process.

It's the primary reason why I chose to make my home on such a planet to begin with.

No one would dare to try and land on the planet.

And if they were dumb enough to attempt it, they sure as hell weren't going to be leaving, as the lightning would just rip right through their ships or fry their systems.

It was the perfect planet to live on, which also made it the perfect place to house my Dragon Balls.

"This planet feels... wrong..." Lila mutters, looking around at the barren landscape.

I turn and look at her strangely, "What do you mean?"

"I'm not entirely certain... It's as if this planet has not been touched by the Kais..." She replied. "As if it was not made to sustain any life..."

Kais can feel that? I guess it would makes sense considering that they are the Gods of Creation, but it's still intriguing nonetheless.

I got to ask her about that sometime.

"Oh, don't bother with that." I waved dismissively, grabbing the dragon model of Ultimate Shenron from the ship and walking out of the cave, heading off to an undisclosed location.

Lila's eyes widened and she quickly rushed to follow me.

"What do you mean? How could I not bother with this?! This planet is... It's just wrong!" She exclaims, wanting an explanation.

"Shin stopped handholding the universe after the deaths of you and your companions." I told her, not even looking back to face her. "He now takes a more... laid back approach to handling the universe."

"Laid back?" She asks with a raised brow.

"He sits on his high and mighty behind and does absolutely nothing." I answered bluntly.

Reaching a deep a deep crevasse, I jumps over it and continue my way forward until I reach the base of a the tall mountain. I jump high in the air and fly over it, with Lila following close behind.

"Please tell me that you aren't serious..." She says with disbelief, not wanting to believe my words.

"You can go ahead and ask him yourself. Though I really wouldn't want to deal with the headache that would come with the sudden revelation of your revival." I told her.

Then again, I wouldn't mind training in the World of the Kais. But then I would have to deal with Shin.

Besides Gohan, the half-breed not the human, Shin is probably on top of my list of characters that I find highly annoying.

At least Gohan was useful before he eventually became fodder.

Shin was basically useless from the damn get go. He came into the Buu Saga with basically nothing in terms of actual skill or ability.

He's supposed to be hailed as somewhat of a thinker, until you realize that he's ignorant about basically everything. Not only that, but he's pathetically weak.

Every single other Supreme Kai in Universe Seven, before they were absorbed or killed, were leagues stronger than him.

I get that all his friends died so he probably had no one to train him, but he had millions of years to think of something. He gets no sympathy from me.

You're a fucking Supreme Kai. Act like it.

Reaching the peak of the mountain, I descend downward towards a clearing which was surrounded by mountains on all sides.

Actually this was were I first crash landed on the planet. This entire area was essentially a giant crater.

"What happened, Shin..." I hear Lila mutter under her breath.

For a brief moment, I think about comforting her in some way, but I shrug it off and continue my way towards the middle of the clearing.

She probably wouldn't want a stranger comforting her. Even if I'm now her student, we did just meet not even a hour ago.

I place the model down on the floor and cross my arms, "All that's left is to make the seven spheres."

I hold out my hand and focus on creating seven small stone spheres, the size of which could fit easily in the palm of my hand. The stone spheres surround the model of Ultimate Shenron, ready for the next step.

I let out a sigh, which causes Lila to come up beside me and ask, "What's wrong?"

"The last step requires a lot of energy. The number of wishes and how unrestricted those wishes are depends on the creator's energy." I told her.

"What's wrong with that? You certainly have enough energy to spare." She says.

"That I'm not sure of.."

My aim was to create the Black Star Dragon Balls. A set of Dragon Balls in GT that allowed you to wish for anything, no rules, no restrictions, and mostly importantly, no time limit.

The only caveat was that those Dragon Balls dispersed to planets across the entire universe and if you didn't return them to the planet the last wish was made from in a year, the energy of the Black Star Balls would destroy each of the planets they were sent to.

The issue was that I'm not sure if I had enough energy. Sure, I could definitely make them, but my aim was three wishes, instead of the one.

This was also my reasoning behind not trying to make them smaller or cut down on the number of orbs. I'm essentially a novice trying to offset my lack of technique with pure power.

"I was hoping that I wouldn't have to use this, but it seems you can't always get what you want." I muttered before letting my dark aura erupt from my body, causing the wind to pick up.

Since it was only my base form, Lila didn't jump back as she did when I went Super Saiyan back on Namek, but she did look on with curiosity.

"What are you doing?" Lila asks.

"You might want to stand back. I've never done this before, so this might backfire horribly." I said before closing my eyes and changing the direction of which my energy was going, keeping it inside instead of letting it pour out.

Not understanding what Zyleth was doing, Lila kept a curious eye on him, wondering what all this was meant to do. Seconds pass and Zyleth seems to have lost himself in his focus, breathing in and out, almost as if he was meditating.

This went on for a for moments before Lila carefully stepped towards him and reached out to touch his shoulder.

"Zyl--"

As soon as her hand made contact, a red aura suddenly sparked off his body and she pulled away instantly.

That spark, or whatever it was, the feeling she that she had gotten felt familiar to the overwhelming pressure she felt on Namek, back when he first transformed into that golden haired form he called "Super Saiyan."

Only this sensation was much, much more intense than the last.

In all her years, there were only five that had ever given her the same feeling. Her family, the North, South, East, and Grand Kais, and one other that she never wanted to meet again.

"It can't be..." She muttered softly.

She knew that the person in front of her wasn't actually the Destroyer she feared, but the amount of overwhelming pressure Zyleth was exerting from his body caused so much anxiety to rise within her that she couldn't help but compare them to each other.

Zyleth's body soon was covered in a red, flame-like aura that was so bright and so intense that she couldn't even see his shadow from within.

"Zyleth!" She called out to him, worried and confused about what was going on.

Almost as if he was responding to her call, the aura dispersed and Zyleth's figure suddenly appeared before her once more, only his hair was now colored a bright red and his body was much skinnier than it had looked previously.

As he turned towards her, she could see that his eyes were colored the same as his hair. Bright red orbs that seemed to almost look right through her.

Just who is this man that revived her?
