The Voices in My Head

'Was this really happening', Treasca thought. She could feel power pouring through her like hot water. The world had a haze of white, like she had been staring into the sun. It burned that power, but it was like it burned out an infection rather than one ment to harm. She looked up to see the Shade clinging to her. Its claws buried in her flesh and roared with all her might. For a moment she felt more like a dragon than a woman, and it felt so good. Then like a Lance the magic peirced through her heart stopping it mid beat. The world sunk down to, but a single dot of light. She could vaguely hear Brenton's cries, but she could not move, could not breathe, could not think. A voice like non she had ever heard before seemed to whisper directly into her mind.

"Child of mine, how did you come to be in such a place." The voice was sweet and light though Treasca could not tell if it was male or female. "The Dragon he does love you. The man he does need you. And the Shade will kill them both unless I help you."

"What do you want?" Treasca asked with her mind hoping she could form a proper sentence.

"Well you are blood of my blood, that foolish son of mine did something unforgivable to conceive you, but I still watch out for you. The power of your people is strong in your veins. I want, but the chance to know you." The voice whispered it seemed to echo around her.

"For how long?" Treasca called still seeing nothing, but that tiny light.

"One full cycle of the moon and I shall do all in my power to save you all. After you are free to decide what you will do. Stay with us, and be cherished forever, or pick amongst the men who love you, and live your days there." The voice seemed happy enough to let her make her choice. She didn't want to agree to some random creature that may not even be related to her at all, but really she felt like her options where few, and time growing short.

" I agree!" Treasca called. There was a sheer blue shimmer, and her eyes fluttered open to see Brenton holding her sobbing. She tried to sit up, but Brenton crushed her to his chest his cries louder now. She was oddly overcome with what the voice had said. He loved her. She looked at him sobbing clinging to her like something precious, and she wanted nothing more to sooth his pain. She wrapped her arms around his neck, and gently pressed her lips to hers. He gasped a sound so startled, and so happy she couldn't help but feel it as well. She kissed him more passionately grabbing his hair. She slipped her tongue into his mouth tasting him so sweet on her tongue. When he kissed down her jaw, and to her neck when stopped suddenly jerking away as if bitten. Then he was moving fast than anyone she had ever seen. He pinned her to the floor her hands held in his over her head, as he began to sniffle her as if searching for something terrible.

"Brenton, its really me." she said trying to free herself from his embrace. He ignored her snapping his fingers rope tied it self around her hands tightly.

"Listen my love, I just need to look you over. You are not acting like yourself at all." Brenton said starting at the top of her head he sniffed his was very slowly down her body.
